U.S. President Donald Trump yelled at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone call after the latter said Hamas had fabricated reports of hunger in Gaza, NBC News reported Friday.
According to the report, Netanyahu demanded a phone call with Trump after the U.S. president rebutted his statements, saying that children in Gaza "look very hungry" during his Scotland visit, adding that "you can't fake that."
"We're giving a lot of money and a lot of food, and other nations are now stepping up," Trump said while visiting Scotland last week.
He added that his administration will set up "food centers" with no fences or boundaries to ease access. "It's a mess. They have to get food and safety right now," the president said.
The day prior, Netanyahu said there was "no policy of starvation" in Gaza at a Jerusalem event.
During the call, which took place last week and which a former U.S. official reportedly described as "a direct, mostly one-way conversation about the status of humanitarian aid," Netanyahu reiterated his claim that reports of famine in Gaza were false.
According to NBC, Trump interrupted Netanyahu and began yelling, saying that his aides had shown him proof of starvation in Gaza. The president reportedly told Netanyahu that he did not want to hear that the hunger was fake, citing his aides.
The Prime Minister's Office described the NBC report as "complete fake news."
The channel also reported that images obtained from a commercial satellite show the IDF amassing troops and equipment near the border with the Gaza Strip.
The report, which came after the Israeli security cabinet approved plans for the occupation of Gaza City, was based on comments from three U.S. officials and a former official who viewed the imagery, NBC said.
According to the report, the images show troop movements and formations that the four sources recognized as signs of an imminent major ground operation.

Imagine killing a few hundred, mostly innocent people a day for almost two years and Trump yells at you. Of course he's still sending you the bombs and other ammo to continue the killing. Which message do you suppose is stronger?
Also IDF policy is that it is fine if 100 civilians die while they are executing 1 Hamas member, and that is how they prefer to operate. ie. They could kill him alone on the street with a drone, but it is much better to bomb his apartment building, killing his extended family and friends so there will be no one alive to take revenge.
Per the New York Times:
"After the initial loosening of the rules of engagement, Israel tightened them again on November 5, 2023, requiring officers to seek special permission to endanger more than 10 civilians when striking low-ranking terror operatives who did not pose an imminent threat to Israeli troops. By late January, the report said, officers needed special permission “for nearly all such deadly strikes, except for those targeting the most senior Hamas commanders.”
That loosening you mentioned didn't even last a month and that was almost 2 years ago.
And it was 20 not a 100.
Ok here's one:
“I have two children that I have photographs of that were shot so perfectly in the chest, I couldn't put my stethoscope over their heart more accurately, and directly on the side of the head, in the same child. No toddler gets shot twice by mistake by the 'world's best sniper.' And they're dead-center shots."

and another:
The BBC World Service has pieced together the stories of Layan al-Majdalawi, two, and Mira Tanboura, six, both killed in Gaza in separate incidents in November 2023, in areas where the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) was operating. In response to our findings, the IDF said the details of Layan and Mira's cases had been recorded and "will be examined by the competent authorities". It added: "Intentional harm to civilians, especially children, is strictly prohibited."Layan and Mira are just two of more than 160 cases of children shot in the war in Gaza, for whom we have gathered accounts. We found that in 95 of these cases, the child had been shot in the head or chest. In 59 of those, we obtained testimony from eyewitnesses, either directly or via human rights organisations and medics. The witnesses alleged that 57 of these children were shot by the IDF, and two were shot by Palestinians - one in celebratory gunfire and the other in a gang conflict. For the remaining 36 out of the 95 cases, we have no account of what happened. Israel bans foreign reporters from entering Gaza independently, and the destruction and displacement make gathering details difficult. The International Committee of the Red Cross has told the BBC the world cannot accept as a "new normal" the type of warfare that allows so many children to be shot.1 August 2025

This has been going on for almost two years. I could collect hundreds more examples with even censored search engines and mainstream news sources..

The thing is I read the news almost every day had have seen reports of this nature every week. For you to tell me it does not happen discredits anything else you might say.
You don't have to be a sniper to shoot someone dead center in the chest, you just have to be a certain distance that maximizes your ability to hit your target.
Medics aren't watching snipers shoot people. The entire point of a sniper is that you can't see where or who is shooting at you. So no one is witnessing anyone shooting them. They are witnessing them being shot. And again there's a difference.
Learn what an actual eyewitness is before you start listening to the people who have nothing to gain from telling the truth but everything to gain from telling a lie.
It is very obvious from the preponderance of the evidence that IDF is doing this. The medics, doctors and investigators accusing IDF of sniping Palestinian children have nothing to gain, and may in fact face hostility when they return home. They are speaking out because they are appalled at what they see.
Until it was "cleaned up" and orders issued to desist, there were posted videos of IDF soldiers bragging about this. Many will be charged with war crimes if they travel to countries willing to enforce international law.
What you are saying essentially is that there are teams of resistance snipers focusing on shooting Palestinian children in areas controlled by the IDF, or at least that this is a real possibility. I think winning the grand prize in a major USA lottery is more likely
Great to see the depth of your knowledge and critical thinking skills. Shallow pools indeed.
These resistance snipers shoot their people everyday. Anyone they believe is helping the other side or if they commit what they believe is a crime like stealing food is shoot by the resistance. It's martial law. Or if you don't want to do what they tell you to do then they shoot one of your children to encourage to do it.
They will face hostility either way because people are divided on the issue.
Not a joke, by the way ...
Only, the window of opportunity has already passed. But like with the Ukraine, the situation only gets worse over time for the West, so they try a Hail Mary.
Maybe the Trumpster has given Netty enough rope to satisfy his jewish backers so when the curtain finally falls on Netty's regime, the Trumpster has to abandon ship, his backers won't cut his political funding. If he had been the strong leader he is said to be, 200,000 Palestinian's would still be alive right now.
This persecution of the Palestinian people has been going on for far too long with far too little being done about it. Everyone can see the in-your-face deception, which is effectively taking the piss, but not the 'leaders of the free world'.
enough of their fictional fabrications bridging real world reality - Move to Disney Studios proper....ffs.
.
And the MIC continues to flow. Seems the world likes a good genocide show.
Who knew?
