The Center of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) announced that the volcanic activity of Mount Raung remains at Level II, which caution visitors to avoid 3-kilometer radius of the crater.

Meanwhile, the seismic observations in the last 24 hours until early Saturday morning mentioned several seismic activities, including 5 times of eruption tremors with an amplitude of 4-5 mm and earthquake duration of 36-52 seconds.

It was also recorded on the seismograph of the Mount Raung observation post that there was 1 local tectonic earthquake with an amplitude of 32 mm, S-P 5.5 seconds, and a duration of 72 seconds. In addition, there were 3 distant tectonic earthquakes with an amplitude of 6-32 mm, S-P 14-39 seconds, and an earthquake duration of 55-165 seconds.
