Thousands of people have signed a petition which asks that Katie Hopkins be deported from Australia after she admitted breaking lockdown rules in the country.
Katie, who is currently in quarantine in a Sydney hotel, took to Instagram to mocked lockdown rules in the city and Melbourne
The former Apprentice star, who is set to appear in Celebrity Big Brother in the country, admitted breaking the rules in a lengthy Instagram clip which she has now deleted. [video viewable here]
She bragged about opening her door naked to hotelworkers who delivered her food.
Australians stranded overseas due to restrictions have been stunned by Katie's comment lashed out at Katie for joking about the Covid rules. Some claim they have reported her to the police for breaking lockdown and flashing.
If she is found guilty of the breaches she faces being deported.
Hopkins mocked Australian residents, saying: "I think it's bulls**t. I think it's bulls**t that I can be here and you can't.
The hashtag — #SendHopkinsHome! — is now trending on twitter and more than 3000 people have signed the petition which calls for her to be booted out of the country.
It reads: "By her own admission, British far-right commentator Katie Hopkins - banned from Twitter for hateful conduct and known for spreading COVID misinformation - has been flouting Australian hotel quarantine rules after being brought to Australia by Channel 7 for a season of Celebrity Big Brother.

"By her actions, she is encouraging others to do the same, calling lockdown a "hoax". Since the pandemic started, the majority of Australians have done what has been asked of them so we can live a COVID-free life.
"If Katie Hopkins is so reluctant to follow the rules to keep our country safe, she shouldn't be here. Big Brother & Channel 7: you must send her home.
"After Katie Hopkins long history of hate speech, it beggars belief that she even passed the character test to receive a visa. I don't want her here and if you don't want her here either.
Comment: Ironically, Hopkins has a point, but her callous delivery of it was appalling. If she was hoping to deliver a bit of truth, she blew it by mocking the real suffering of those under Australia's latest lockdown.
