Don't you believe these Csuckers are taking this too far?
And I call it idolatry because of the value they place on it.
Don't forget, whoever stole it STILL can destroy it and melt it and post the video. Perhaps you've provided the idea. (One can hope.)
All this is expressly provided that they really did and it's not some "real"-" fake " story about how some 'supervillan' (as the article mentions) did it. Indeed, this post caused my BS meter to start clicking, for reasons in my next post.)

P.s., Is that Chopin? If so, do you play piano? Did he play violin?
Me: I'm a guitarist who tries to play piano, who's never been called a pianist; but has been called a 'prick', some say.
(If I've asked you that before, I apologize, as I might not have seen the reply, or maybe did, and even responded to your answer, and went to bed, for when I'm in that sleepy zone, that last 5 minutes of shutting things down is morphed into that generalized sleepy forgetfulness.)
[ I can’t find a “sleepy emoji here, so I'll try a Sleepy cat emoji; although it likely won’t be recognizable because of how stuff gets reset via typical comment text/font transmodification, plus it's vertical.)

Assuming story is legit,
1) how could such a place have no surveillance?
2) Why would someone steal such a high value item with such a low likely resale value, unless some mogul commissioned the effort, and what are the odds are that some nerd comic book loving Silicon Valley Mogul, who would have to be smarter than the average thief, could be that STUPID when he could have them build him a copy for the paltry amount of 400K?
3.) Please note how the arbitrary $325K value is that high for insurance claims, and is also part of the Ancient Hollywood Total Thievery “Accounting System” where the studios are likely STILL writing off parts of the much-higher-claimed-costs/value of Bogart’s fedora in Casablanca! (A guess.)
One recent example comes to mind. You likely remember Director Peter Jackson’s films of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings I, II and III which were released in 2001, 2002 and 2003, respectively. However, the extended DVD’s were part of the deal and per Wee Wee Pee Pee Ahh, “the entire project took eight years.”
At some point, they then began negotiating with Tolkien’s estate, primarily represented by his Son, (an RAF Spitfire Pilot in WWII, in S. Africa.) Well when they were negotiating with him, he finally put out the news that despite all the HUGEST OF ALL TIME, type of profits from those films, that the Tolkien Estate, had not yet received a penny as a result of all three of those films and that eight year project which was then, (as I recall, OVER ten years since the first release!) Then think about this aspect of things:
Let’s say this is a P.R. scam..(in part). RT’s story here likely came to them off of some news story wire put out on the AP UPI AFP etc. wires as ‘legit’; and if any editors were skeptical, they’d call in. (If such were the case, the wire services would in advance advise the MSM, NTY, WaPo not to run it asap, and also then to smarmishly introduce it more skeptically.
Why? Because they were trying to get RT, et al., to run it as above.
Now if someone from the Orlando Sentinel called and asked, they’d be told the truth but to delay its online publication and keep it a ‘sorta secret’ so that the editor could add some cautionary remarks. But when RT, Pravda, Press TV called, (who each and all have to pay to get those wire services, and probably a huge amount more than any other stations with about the same level of viewership.); Again, when their editors called:
1) First call, message taken and "lost";
2) No replies to any texts or emails;
3) The second call they were placed on hold for 50 minutes, etc.
This goes on until their (RT’s, et al) ‘bedtimes’ had passed. Provided that they have them and although not a newspaper, I bet they do for they have a 5:00 p.m. afternoon news program, right? Well that would likely have a 4:00 p.m. Moscow deadline, which would be 9:00 a.m. in New York, NY!)
The end result? Provable ‘Fake News’ by all the Iranian and Russian Outlets, but as to others in / near Moscow’s time zone who we aren’t having a fake news war with, they too would get through with questions re the story.
So, I’ll believe it some other time. Till then, I’ll be charitable and assume it’s just a Hollywood planned in advance insurance scam. I've not researched the above. Just gut feelings that I would have had twenty years ago, but would have instantly dismissed.
The odds the above might be more correct than incorrect? Sad to say about 30%. (It should be so low that I'd not have bothered, nor wasted your time, but given the fake news and fake news tactics of the PTB's MSM, you can not put any level of lying scam as being below where they will go at the behest of the PTB. (Look how the ensured the millions dead in the War Crime Iraq invasion by never questioning the absurd 'claims' of the US/PTB as 'summarized by traitor Colin Powell, who could and should have become a better man.)

P.s., An aside re Comic Books growing up here:
We never read comic books; round here - while there was no shortage of amount of juvenile judgmentalism/peer pressure in my pre puberty youth here (as in everyone's in the western world I dare say) - yet it was different in that it was here a hybrid of a southern small town's provincialism, combined with folks from the S.F. Bay area and Central and SoCal’s many military contractors, which certainly do not exhibit the same conservativism of small southern town, USA. Thus we had a weird and goodly different mix of different types of peer pressure due to the fact that practically none of my friends were actually born here. (We instead moved here when we were age 1 through 10 in the 1960s or so. Indeed, we were almost ALL born in California, where our Dads were Korean War USAF Vets. who were offered the chance to move to a then totally desolate area about as far from Silicon Valley as one can get in the Lower 48. (I’m aware of Maine, however.)
As such, there was a strange mix of adventuresome folks like my parents, (and my friends') and it yielded a different kind of place. As but one example, no one would be caught dead reading a comic book.
