Russia is needed to resolve the on-going conflicts in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and Eastern Ukraine, said German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel.
"The great international conflicts of our time can only be solved through dialogue and mutual trust". We need a constructive Russia in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and Eastern Ukraine, and I will tell this to our Russian partners", said the leader of German diplomacy before leaving for Krasnodar, where a conference of the twin cities of Russia and Germany will be held.

Comment: Russia already knows this and is waiting for cooperation with respect for sovereignty.

He stressed that even in difficult political times it is necessary to maintain a dialogue, because this is the only way to maintain confidence and resolve the disputes peacefully.
"Despite all political controversies, we must not forget how close and diverse relations between Russia and Germany became close to the end of the Cold War", Gabriel added.
The German Minister noted that the development of bilateral relations plays a significant role in the partnership between cities and regions and everyone is interested in further strengthening the exchange between our societies".

The 13th Russian-German partner city conference will take place on June 28-30 in Krasnodar.
