“Simulacra + Simulation” by Jean Baudrillard is heavy going, but a great read.
Oh, now we're spinning the "cracking narrative," are we? Drawing a parallel between the two major (and incredibly clever) "limited hangout"...

During my time in the military, our weapons were stored in a secure location, with the bolt of each weapon removed and stored in another separate location. There was no way, anyone could get their hands on said weapon, as each individual had to sign for them on receipt and then were ticked off on return, same went for the bolts.
But to leave said weapon in an armoured personel carrier with no questions asked ????? Is that Dad's army or something ? LOL.
