It's currently at the bottom of a 3 year run that averages slightly above zero.
Whatever is or isn't melting in the Arctic this year, in 2 months it won't matter much, because the sun will set and the freezing will commence.It has even been known to freeze up 2 weeks before the sun sets, as it did a couple of years ago.
Hudson Bay is late, very late in thawing out this year. Not a good sign for the N. Hemisphere. Not good at all.
