Watch this audience applaud as Regina E. Dugan, former Director of DARPA and current executive at Google, describes with excitement the coming BEAST TECH smart tattoos and ingestible biochips that are ALREADY FDA-APPROVED and which she says people will want to receive (and eventually be REQUIRED to receive) by 2017. She glows about the "super powers" the MARK will give her and says today's generation wants them too. Unfortunately, as documented in the book BEAST TECH, she is right.

THis feking stinks to high heaven, she's a fucking sl** ... grrr... god, I'm just so furious. She knows exactly what she's delivering, knows exactly the cliff she's leading us all over. There's the pause in the monologue at the start, the dude starts laughing to break the tension .... makes me furious - it's so stages, so obvious.

And again in hindsight only - I could smell a dirty big stinking filthy rotting rat waaay back then, when tattoos were suddenly fashionable, right out of the blue. It was all conditioning for this moment. I suspected then, and here it is. There's no stopping this train, this train that's going faster by the day. We're a goner.

Evil dedicates itself to creating a widespread public consensus (a mass perception) that it is 'good' (normal). And that there is no other 'good' (normal). It imitates 'good', but is not good.

Fear of punishment and desire for reward are its tools. Because of this, people begin to lie. The lie gets deeper and deeper. It all seems 'good'.

Somehow, each individual (in order to be an individual and do away with evil) has to overcome this, this prolific and prolonged use of tools and the participation in a public (total) consensus of 'what is' without exception.

Everyone has to become an exception and to support other exceptions. True good is endlessly creative and very marginally imitative.

Evil is conformity pushed to the nth degree. But this conformity can never be real, in the sense that truth is real......it is an halllucination, a copycat mental state, a psychosis--powerful, very powerful indeed. A 'good' one, eveyone wants it, you see. Everyone!

All through history, civilization (politics and economics) has practiced and produced and maintained and even increased dramatically evil in this manner.

And so here we are.

HLF and Ned, thanks for your calm words, reminder for me that I'm not alone in watching this despicable-ness. I feel alone watching all this! What's going to happen?? We just going plod along to the chambers, beaten and bound by the chemical and electrical boundary imprisoning our neurons? I guess so. Especially when pleasure stimulants are applied in equal measures - shopping/tv etc.

So glad there's peeps on this site that are holding strong. We all go down together, with at least our integrity in tact. It could be argued that integrity is all that matters anyhow.

My intent is to help with what I call, 'the village'. The village is partly cultivated and tame and partly wild and free. By being both, it is the most free, in a way. We're humans, animal and often simple (minded) and yet something more.

I've been commenting regularly at sott, since what?, last April? Before that, I was a member (here) but only very infrequently commented. I had more substantial connections elsewhere.

I have been warmer (more congenial) at some of these other sites, at times, but also I've been more vociferous, confrontational and angry (at times). It depends.

At any rate, thank you so much, sass. Keep the faith.

...and the audience applauded. That's not just sad -- it's flat-out terrifying.

The sales pitch is that this tech is empowering. Wanna use your ATM? No need for a magstripe card or a chipped card or a smartphone or a retina print or facial recognition. Just walk up to the ATM, and it will "know" you.

The same, when you do your shopping. The Point-of-Sale terminal will "know" you. Just scan your items, and you're good to go.

People already carry around active tracking devices, masquerading as telephones/computers. However, people have the choice to turn them off or to leave them at home.

Robbing people of choice turns them into slaves, which is the goal of these new technologies. However, these new technologies are so cool, and they're convenient, too, right?

Aldous Huxley was right, when he wrote that people would love their slavery.

It all works well, then (or seems to), for these prisoners (models of good behavior), JUST SO LONG as the prison is maintained.

And that is the key: Keeping the prison (the order) intact.

A great many of these model prisoners call it PEACE.

A-yep, they actually do.

PEACE.
