In the video, an unidentified fisherman standing at the prow of his boat exclaims with surprise as he sees a huge explosion on the horizon.

'Something just blew up!' he cries, as the fireball is replaced by a huge plume of thick smoke. 'Yeah, it did!' agrees a voice off-camera. The men, visibly shocked, then try and work out where the explosion is.

Today it was reported that an industrial accident board has issued Black Elk, the Houston-based owners of the platform, with a subpoena for information about the incident.

According to Reuters, Black Elk has until November 30 to respond to the subpoena from the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, which investigates chemical spills, refinery explosions and other industrial accidents.

One of the missing workers was found dead on Saturday, while Black Elk has stated that it is expanding its search for the second missing man.

In a statement, reported in the New York Daily News, the company said: 'We remain focused on the victims and their families, including those injured.'

Yet Reuters stated that, on Monday, Black Elk did not respond to 'multiple queries about the status of the search'.
