I thought falling objects only fall at 180MPH (290KPH) at free fall, of course coming from a plane it is sort of propelled. If an object was going 1,000's of MPH/KPH wouldn't it be slowed by the density/friction of our air if there was no object to smash into?
I just find it odd someone doesn't just say possibly space snowball/debree. What were the conditions of the weather, where at Geographically? Do/were planes in the area or is the home in the general direction of a flight path?
More info would have been helpful Liz.
