Witness Statement: We had just arrived in, and I was upstairs when my husband called me down to see once again these strange orange lights in the sky. Unlike last year [comment made on this site 4th June 2009] this time there were only three, these were moving without a sound behind one another across the sky, then almost fading to a faint twinkle, then disappearing. Lots of helicopter activity in the area, so can rule out any type of aircraft, or chinese lanterns, for one thing the lights are too big and bright.

There have been nearly 1,000 reports of demonic activity in the past quarter of a century, with Yorkshire the nation's most ghostly county.

Encounters with devils, demons and evil spirits are as widespread today as they were in medieval times, researchers claim.

The research was led by the UKs leading authority on the unexplained Lionel Fanthorpe who studied various archives and websites as well as his own reports to identify all sightings and recordings of supernatural beings with satanic qualities.

US: Engineer spots disc-shaped UFO over Warwick, Rhode Island skies

A Warwick, RI, civil engineer reported seeing a disc-shaped UFO on April 24, 2010, at 3 p.m. that was observed from a local parking lot, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The witness describes the object as "a intensely bright, white, circular object in a northeasterly direction and approximately 70 degrees above the horizon."

"I thought it funny that it just hung in that position for many minutes," the witness stated, "but it was lazily moving extremely slowly generally in a figure-eight pattern, which I verified by lining the object up with the edge of my car door jamb. As far as I could tell, the object did not vary in brightness, color or shape during my total observation. It was brighter than a daytime observation of the planet Venus and it definitely exhibited a diameter (disclike). I did have the distinct impression that it was spherical but without the aide of optics I was unsure."

Warwick is a city in Kent County, Rhode Island, the second largest city in the state, population 85,808.

Arizona witness reports night of possible alien visitation

An Arizona witness reports being awakened in the early morning hours of April 16, 2010, to a beeping sound that ignited a search of the home and feelings of aliens attempting an abduction, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

"I could feel that someone was in my house," the witness stated. "Then I thought it was little grey aliens, for some reason it really scared me. I wanted to get up to investigate, but was frozen from fear."

The witness reports that the sky outside looked darker than normal, as though something was blocking the sky.

"I remember looking outside my window at one point at the sky and it was a lot darker than normal as if there was a craft blocking the city lights. I do not recall seeing a space ship. I do recall that there was no other noise and it was eerily quite outside except for the noises coming from inside from my treadmill, about 3-4 minutes passed with my treadmill beeping. I had a bad feeling and my adrenaline was pumping hard."

US: Michigan teen watches small triangle UFO hover over backyard

A 15-year-old Michigan girl watched a small triangle-shaped UFO briefly hover over her backyard and then move quickly away on April 22, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The girl's parent reported the incident on April 24, 2010.

"She describes it as being dark, triangular shaped and thick like a rock with a metallic look to it," the parent stated. "She said it remained for a few seconds then basically disappeared to the north."

The parent questioned the child after learning about the encounter.

"I asked her if it had windows- no. I asked her if it was large enough to hold people- she didn't think so. I asked her exactly where the orange lights were located on the craft- she claimed that the corners were glowing dim and that she didn't see any direct bright lights. I wanted to know just how close this thing was and so I asked her if she thought a rock could possibly hit it if she threw one and she replied yes (omg). I also asked her if there was any type of noise coming from the object and unfortunately she had earphones on listening to music from her mp3 but she did turn off the music at some point during the encounter and with her earplugs still in, she still didn't hear any noise."

Ufologists throughout the country have a lot of work on their hands, and the reason for this is Tarapacá, where there has been an exponential increase in the number of sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).

The phenomenon has startled residents of Iquique. On many occasions, citizens have been stunned to see lights or objects that shouldn't be there every time they look up to the skies.

The phenomenon's very existence is a mystery, considering that the reason for its presence has never been explained, and much less forecasted. But there are historic periods of time in which the appearance of numerous UFO cases have drawn the attentions of ufologists.

Famed physicist Stephen Hawking recently made headlines by explaining that even though extraterrestrial intelligence very likely exists in the universe, we probably don't want to meet aliens any time soon. "If aliens ever visit us," Hawking said, "I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans."

I agree completely. In fact, I've been considering writing an article on this subject for quite some time, but thought it would be construed as "too pessimistic" by many readers. But now that Hawking has opened the door on this topic, here's my take on it.

The most successful societies are the conquerors

Sad as it may seem, peaceful societies never accomplish much in the way of spreading their culture, expanding their reach or populating new lands (or planets). All the really peaceful cultures on planet Earth -- Tibetan Buddhists, Amazonian tribes, Native American Indians, Indigenous Australians -- were unilaterally wiped out by far more aggressive and violent cultures.

The Earth today is dominated by those religions and cultures that were expansionary and aggressive in their ways. Aggressive populations always tend to destroy peaceful populations, taking over their lands and resources, eventually ruling their people.

Stephen Hawking Warns Over Making Contact with Aliens

Aliens almost certainly exist but humans should make every attempt to avoid them, Stephen Hawking has warned.

In a series for the Discovery Channel the renowned astrophysicist said it was "perfectly rational" to assume intelligent life exists elsewhere.

But he warned that aliens might simply raid Earth for resources, then move on.

"If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans," he said.

Mr Hawking thinks that, rather than actively trying to communicate with extra-terrestrials, humans should do everything possible to avoid contact.

He explained: "We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn't want to meet."

The witness called and reported his sighting about 24 hours after it happened. He saw four red lights in a square formation moving slowly towards the east. One of the four lights was blinking. A low pitched humming sound came from the object (lights). The object passed right over him and then reversed direction and began moving back towards the west. The object moved slow at all times. The witness saw the object for nearly 30 minutes. The object was still visible when he quit watching it and went indoors. The witness said that skies were clear at the time of the sighting.

Description: The witness called immediately after the sighting occurred to file a report. She was quite excited by what she saw and had never seen anything like it. She was driving south, turned left and began driving to the east. She and her daughter both saw a large craft traveling south and noticed that the object was traveling very slow. The object began turning and made a "U Turn" and began traveling north towards Oceana Naval Air Station (see map). At one point the witness was immediately underneath the craft and was aghast with its size, shape, lack of sound, and very bright lighting (see sketch).
