Description: The witness called immediately after the sighting occurred to file a report. She was quite excited by what she saw and had never seen anything like it. She was driving south, turned left and began driving to the east. She and her daughter both saw a large craft traveling south and noticed that the object was traveling very slow. The object began turning and made a "U Turn" and began traveling north towards Oceana Naval Air Station (see map). At one point the witness was immediately underneath the craft and was aghast with its size, shape, lack of sound, and very bright lighting (see sketch).

The object continued to fly low over the tree line. After about 90 seconds the witness lost of sight of the craft through the trees as it continued north towards the Naval Base. The witness is a Navy veteran and regularly sees F18 fighters fly over her home. She didn't see any other aircraft in the sky at the time of the sighting. She later saw F18s in the area, but did not think that they responded to the presence of the triangular craft. The weather was clear and stars were visible.

Note: I interviewed the witness and found her quite credible. She was in the Navy for 8 years and was quite familiar with Navy aircraft. Navy fighter jets regularly fly over her home from nearby Oceana Naval Air Station. She stated that this craft was unlike any regular aircraft.
