Location of Sighting: Mackworth, Derby
Date of Sighting: 12 December 2009
Time: 5.30pm
Witness Statement: I stepped out of the back door of my partner's parents house and happened to look at the sky, due East. I was looking due East at about 45 Deg above the horizon... ( I can't find out what star I was looking at)
At first I thought I was looking at Orions Belt but quickly realised it was all wrong and not only the but there were 3 stars and two of the were moving but very slowly towards the 1 stationary star, the other two were the same size and luminosity as the other one but were moving in sync at the same distance apart from each other to wards it...

Location of Sighting: Tiptree, Essex
Date of Sighting: 12th December, 2009
Time: 12.30am
Witness Statement: Driving home from Tollesbury, just on the outskirts of Tiptree, I saw what I first thought to be a meteor, (I had already seen a meteor from the Geminid shower early the previous evening), but it was moving to slow to be a shooting star so I stopped the car for a better look. It was a bright fiery orange in colour and could have been made up of three balls of light in extremely tight formation - I say could have been, because of the fiery nature they blended together as one.

Orbiting light spheres and gold lights in boomerang shape
I went out on my deck, which overlooks 1+ acres of woods in suburb of Burnsville, off Burnsville Pkwy and Cty Rd 5 at about midnight. Between the treetops and above, clear sky view, I spotted 2 large orbs of white light, rapidly circling each other in a large circle, about the size of a football field. The sky was completely covered by dense clouds and the light circles were quite visible. They never wavered from their distance from each other, but did move sideways from time to time. It resembled a planet with an orbiting planet....not an irregular path.

Black, triangular UFO over a small central Illinois town.
Three of my friends and I were sitting outside on the trampoline in my backyard. We live downtown in Petersburg, IL. It's a very small town, but there are enough nearby shops and streetlights that light pollution can be fairly bad. Nevertheless, we are usually able to see stars and such, which makes stargazing on clear days (like this) one of our favorite pastimes.
It was just past 10:50 p.m. when my friend started pointing northwest in the sky and yelling "What is that?!" We all looked up and noticed three brownish objects gliding through the sky, forming a perfect triangle. For a second, I thought they might be birds, but they were way too still and uniformly spaced. They were also way to low, dimly lit, and fast to be any sort of aircraft I know. The triangle itself blended with the sky behind it, but my friend said he would see the stars behind it disappearing when the triangle passed under them.
It took maybe five, ten seconds to completely pass across the sky, and it was completely noiseless. My friends and I were amazed. A few minutes after it passed, I remembered the air force base about 30 minutes (by car) southeast of us - the direction that the Unidentified Flying Object was headed. I'm still looking to hear if anybody else noted these same sightings.

3 objects that appeared to be made up of separate lights approximately 6-8 spinning lights per object that appeared, disappeared
We observed initially 2 round appearing objects out over Puget Sound. They would disappear and then reappear. They were out over the water and at one point one of them dropped straight down as if dropping right into the water. That left one in the sky, low on the horizon over the water; then another one appeared out next to the remaining one. Through binoculars they appeared to be about 6-8 lights that were changing in shape, mostly in a circular formation. They would fade out and then reappear.

Saw a triangular shaped craft while driving home.
Driving down a straight stretch of Highway 59 in Mandeville at 5:30 A.M. and saw this bright light ahead in the sky, roughly the size of a planet.. I got closer and then thought it was some kind of helicopter just sitting stagnant in the sky,.. as I drove closer, I noticed it was moving, and I eventually got a real close profile view of it.. I couldn't stop staring at it, I had never seen any kind of aircraft in my life. it was triangular shaped with lights,.. didn't make a noise. TR-3B Astra is the closest description I'm getting.

Description: The young man and a friend were about to get into the car when they noticed four oval-shaped objects high in the sky to the west. The objects had red and orange lights near the top and white lights closer to the bottom. The lights were blinking very rapidly in a strobe-like pattern. The witnesses estimated that the objects were 1.5 - 2 miles away, maybe 2-3 miles high. At first, the objects were together in a cluster, then they began to move away toward the west.

Location of Sighting: Traveling Westbound on Highway N2 Near Knysna, South Africa (See Map)
Description: On the 6th of December, at around 12:00 PM mid-day my husband and I were driving on the N2 highway towards George (from Knysna side). The sea was on our left, and in the mountains on our right we saw 2 extremely bright, almost blinding lights. They looked like stadium lights. Each one looked like it was made up of many lights, not 1 single light, if that makes sense? It was a white light. The 2 were hovering, next to each other, one slightly higher than the other, but not really moving. However we were driving quite fast! A number of people were standing on the roadside watching this, but I haven't seen or heard any reports yet.

Witness Statement: I had gone to my car to collect some shopping when I noticed 3 really bright orange lights approaching from the North. No particular formation and traveling the speed of a normal aircraft. I could see normal aircraft around the night sky and these objects were much different. Apart from being Street Light Orange they were incredibly bright. Then as they approached me the two on either side the middle one changed directions and one went West and the other East, and within a few seconds they both disappeared. The middle one continued forward for another minute until it too disappeared.

Witness Statement: Traveling down the road and turned onto dual carriageway heading towards Moneymore. Saw large ship like image swirling in sky to my left just above tree height. The main body of the image was swirling around with smaller lights right around the main body also rotating. Followed the whole way into next village then it disappeared. Nothing else on the road at the time. Dull lights like smokey effect but was clearly spinning.
