Witness Statement: I was sat in my car watching the Sun set and admiring the view, when I thought "look to the right" (towards Tod.). I looked and this small black dot just appeared way up in the sky. Imagine seeing a fly about 10 feet away. This object then proceeded to suddenly move from left to right over a large distance at great speed, It then moved up and down in a zig zag pattern, this lasted for a couple of minutes and then moved off and out of sight slowly.

Witness Statement: Looking out my Bedroom Window I saw a glow in the sky that looked like a fire in the sky. This started off at lower level then moved across the sky climbing all the time. At first, I was shocked as it looked like a plane was on fire, but as it increase in height at looked like a bright yellow triangle with a red light coming from the bottom of the triangle. Within 2-3 minutes it vanished up through the cloud level. Don't know what this was at all, but scary!!

Witness Statement: We were both standing outside at the Burnham on Crouch Rugby club at a party so I could have a cigarette.( I would also point out I had not consumed any alcohol as I was driving). Keith had 2 bottles of Budweiser. Then we both saw an orange light moving very fast across the sky . As it went overhead I made out a shadow which looked bell shaped with a huge orange light underneath which was constant and never flickered. It disappeared into cloud and then was gone in a matter of a minute maybe two at most.

Witness Statement: I was sitting in my conservatory at given time above, with all lights out, apart from small candle and light from cd player.
Saw a bright yellow star-like shape move across the sky - west to east - ? Moving in the direction that I would to take to drive into Shrewsbury.
I went outside as the object moved across the sky above me, slowly and soundlessly.

Triangle shaped object hovering for extended period of time and then finally vanished.
I was brushing my teeth when my husband hollered for me. He was standing looking out our back window that faces a field. He said, 'look at the light, it's not moving' it was far too close to be a star. He decided he was going to go out and look for it. I stayed by the window, cell phone in hand. He called and said it seemed a lot farther out than he had thought. The object was moving lower and farther away it appeared until it finally disappeared from my sight. Right before it disappeared I called him to tell him I could barely see it. He said he couldn't either. Like that, it was gone.

V shaped craft flying over Palm Springs, CA
I was outside on my patio smoking a cigarette and while I was looking up at the night sky a saw a V shaped object moving slow through the air. It was heading from north to south and flying close to the San Jacinto foothills which I live across the street from. There were no lights or any sounds coming from the craft. I first noticed it when it blocked out a star. If I were not looking up at the time I would have missed it. I can usually hear passenger jets flying high overhead while they are traveling either eastward or westward, but I heard nothing from this thing. I would estimate that the craft was about thousand feet or less in the air and its size was about the same as a Boeing 737.

Rectangular black object floating out at sea.
I was walking home on 5th May 2010 with my 18 year old daughter. We live by the beach in Portobello Edinburgh. The sea is visible at the foot of our street and we could both see a large black featureless rectangle about three quarters of a mile out to sea. The weather was clear, calm and visibility was perfect.
I'm always observing ships and am reasonably familiar with most the ships that frequent the Forth.

Luminous rectangle, no lights or sound, tremendous speed.
While star-gazing in the backyard on a clear night, movement caught my eye to the right (south), which I first thought was a streaking meteor (because of the speed, size, and low luminosity). I think it was moving at a 45 deg angle downward, and then began (on a dime) to move in a line parallel to the earth, and directly in my direction (northward). The speed probably about that of a fighter jet with afterburners going (based on past observations of those). Object was a self-luminous body, grey-blue-white, not very bright, about like the moon behind thick clouds, and was rectangular, with no lights whatsoever. No sound at all. The backyard is quiet, and it flew directly overhead. It was about twice as long as wide (2:1), and took, I guess, between 8 and 11 seconds to traverse from 30 deg above my right horizon (about 800 - 1200 feet high?) to my left horizon and disappear. There was no wind at all.

the bright blue oval object flew straight for 5 seconds then instantly vanished
Driving on highway 23 from east to west, the object appeared suddenly going extremely fast towards the west. the object was an oval bright blue was only visible for a few seconds then just as suddenly disappeared. The sky was clear and I only saw one car coming from the opposite direction. The object went totally straight, east to west then vanished with a blink of an eye. I was in the Air Force for 20 years and have seen numerous aircraft day and night flying and know what I saw was no normal aircraft or object. I also have seen numerous "shooting stars" and know that this was unusual. The object was 200 to 500 ft up.

Silent, translucent Y shaped object just above tree level, steady course with slow climb, approx 10mph
Was jogging on the road, warehouse district where my business is located. Clear skies, no rain, minimal wind if any (slight wind from the East just slightly moving tree-tops along road that were maybe 50 feet high) Object at first thought was a plastic bag floating along at just above tree level (50-60 feet AGL). I hold commercial rotorcraft rating.
Estimate size at around 5-6 feet long with individual legs of the Y tubular structure approximately 5 inches in diameter. Width of two Y appendages approximately 4-5 inches diameter with the legs approximately 2/3rds the length of the base leg.
