US: Witness briefly loses memory after watching UFO over Ferguson, Missouri

A Missouri witness driving along Florissant Road in downtown Ferguson had an unusual encounter with a UFO on June 5, 2010, that caused him to forget what he was doing, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness originally saw the object in the distance about a quarter-mile away and pulled over for a better look.

While he was adjusting his camera to shoot a photo, the object moved quickly away, but then returned even closer seconds later.

Now with the object less than one-eighth mile away, he described it as "dark gray in color, no lights or sounds at all. It appeared to be a stretched star with 2 points prevalent on each end looking like an introverted "V" and 1 small extroverted "V" on each long side (6 points total )."

His camera malfunctioned then for the second time - something it has never done before and has not done since.

He wanted the object for an additional three minutes before it was gone from sight. The man then pulled out of the parking lot and began driving, but soon felt that he forgot that he was driving, or exactly why he was away from home in the first place.

Hi, I recently saw amber lights in the sky, please check my Facebook for more info. I do have a somewhat decent clear pictures of the lights. If you have trouble finding it on Facebook, I'll just send you a picture.

Additional Information:

The sighting was around 2:20am in the morning. After I got out of work, I decided take a walk to the west side of New York, Manhattan up on 11th street. I'm kind of annoyed that I didn't take anymore pictures, because then you could have seen the difference in size in comparison to the Empire State building.

OK, I'm not a UFO hunter or anything, but I saw something last night. I Googled what I saw and came across your email address. I was sitting in my living room talking on the phone around 10:45pm or 11:00 ish. I looked out the window and saw these glowing lights through the trees in the front yard.

They were an amber color light, which at first I thought it was our street light which kind of the same color, but then looking at it I then saw 4 of them and they were slightly moving. I ran outside to see and they moved slowly for around 5 minutes.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While watching the stars in the night sky at a holiday leisure park near Calne in Wiltshire, England we saw a yellow ball of light traveling at great speed towards us. When it came closer and looked like a full moon, but a lot lower. it slowed down and changed colour to orange with a vibrant glow around and throughout the spherical shape.

World War Two radio continues to pick up vintage broadcasts despite not having any power.

A 70-year-old radio at a Scottish heritage centre has been picking up vintage broadcasts featuring Winston Churchill and the music of Glen Miller.

The Pye valve wireless at Montrose Air Station, a heritage centre that tells the story of the men and women who served there, has no power and is not connected to any source of electricity.

The aerodrome has been a source of paranormal sightings and sounds for almost a century, with reports of ghostly figures, eerie footsteps and door handles turning, but the mysterious wireless broadcasts have had even the most sceptical staff at the station searching for a rational explanation.

The vintage radio set is kept in a re-creation of a 1940s room. Several people have heard Second World War era broadcasts including the big band sound of the Glenn Miller orchestra and speeches by Winston Churchill. The broadcasts come on at random and can last for up to half an hour.

A mysterious fire that occurred in Grahams Road Saturday morning has left residents puzzled.

Louis and Clemmie Campbell were outside in their yard when they heard a loud swishing sound.

"A white ball of fire fell from the sky," described Clemmie. "It hit the ground and smoke started coming up."

The ball of fire landed in a hay field beside the Campbell's driveway.

Clemmie phoned the New London Fire Department while her husband Louis grabbed a pitchfork and approached the flames.

By the time firefighters arrived on scene, Louis had put out the flames with his fork and boots.

"It mostly burnt out as soon as it hit the ground," said Louis.

Allan Cole of the NLFD said the fire is still a mystery.

"We found some stuff there but we don't know what it is," said Cole. "It's interesting."

US: Flash in Colorado sky is followed by red lights and triangle formation

A Colorado witness camping in Eleven Mile Canyon at Lake George is reporting a flash in the sky at 10 p.m. on June 4, 2010, followed by red balls "zipping off" in different directions and then three larger lights that moved in a triangle formation, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The other objects were much smaller with flashing red lights zipping all over the sky and up to the triangle formation," the witness stated. "This went on for a very long time."

Lake George is in unincorporated Park County, Colorado, along Route 24 northwest of Colorado Springs.

US: Teardrop-shaped UFO follows in jet's vapor trail over Virginia

A Virginia witness watched a teardrop-shaped object following in the vapor trail of a jet on June 12, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The object seemed to keep pace with the jet, but stayed a good distance behind, the witness stated. The object was shorter than the plane, but larger in diameter.

The object made a sudden "arc like climb," and then vanished.

This report is not uncommon - there have been some very similar reports of objects following jets in their vapor trail from the past year within the MUFON reports.

A California witness videotaped what could be four objects flying in a V-formation and is considering the "catch" might be military, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

US: Sphere UFO low over Cincinnati, Ohio mall area

An Ohio parent and daughter standing outside a Cincinnati mall on June 6, 2010, watched a silent, hovering sphere, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The sphere was a fairly large object but moving rather slowly," the reporting witness stated. "There were no contrails from a jet and it was too large to have been a prop type plane"

The object seemed to change colors.

"At times it seem to get very light in color till you almost couldn't make it out then it would become darker and more visible. We continued watching it until it was out of view from where we were."

The witness first reported the incident to a local airport and then to a county sheriff's department - both said there were no other reports on the object.

Low flying, silent, hovering spheres are being reported consistently across the country and in many states. The stories are so very similar - it's nearly always reported as hovering, and then slow moving, and low to the ground. The object eventually just moves out of sight of the witnesses. We hope to have better images in the future.
