Description: At 12:56 AM I went outside to have a cigarette and noticed an odd grouping of lights that I thought was for a plane. After a minute I realized that they were not moving so I thought perhaps the lights were a helicopter. The craft came a few miles closer and that is when I began to realize what I was looking at and it is something that I have never seen. This ship seemed to move literally like a star destroyer. (Sorry I have not other reference, but that is what it is.) It then came a few more miles closer to me. I tried recording with a camera phone, but it was useless. I thought I would snoop around and see if any of the popular sites had the same information and it turns out that a man saw the black triangle in August.

What was it?: No one seems to have seen what caused the humming sound over parts of Hull and Holderness in the early hours of this morning.

Mystery surrounds the source of a loud "humming" noise heard by Hull residents last night.

The Mail has received several calls from readers from across the city who heard the noise at about 2am.

Some have speculated the noise was caused by a low-flying military aircraft.

But Damien Elvin, spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, said it was not aware of any military aircraft in the area.

At least three Denton County residents reported mysterious lights above Frisco. The sightings occurred Saturday night around 7 p.m. One of the witnesses who saw it has more questions than answers.

Marilyn Brannon was doing her typical evening routine. She walked her dog through her neighborhood. But Saturday night was anything but typical. "I looked back and noticed the two lights. They were very bright, almost as bright as Jupiter," said Brannon.

She grabbed her camera and took several photos. One of them shows Jupiter on the left, a jet on the right and two unusual lights, side by side, in the middle of the photo toward the bottom. "The jet left and maybe after 30 seconds, they began to fade. And then I knew that was something unusual," said Brannon.

Residents of a city street were stunned to see a strange object in the night sky above Exeter. Arrow-shaped and red, it moved across Heavitree completely silently before disappearing without a trace.

The two men who witnessed it say they are usually cynical of sightings but are at a loss to explain the phenomenon. They say they were even more surprised to see reports in a national newspaper this week of a similar unidentified flying object seen by residents of a Yorkshire town.

The object also bears a striking resemblance to a UFO pictured in the skies above Belgium in the early 1990s.

Nick Wheeler, 61, who works at a medical equipment suppliers on Sowton Industrial Estate, first saw the UFO outside his home in Haldon View Terrace on Saturday. It was also seen by his partner Richard Coombe.

A New Hampshire witness driving north along Route 93 just north of Manchester watched a triangle-shaped UFO pass over the freeway at 7:50 p.m. on October 22, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"It was dark and unlit, but clearly triangular in shape and with 3 funnels hanging from its underside - kind of like the thrusters at the bottom of the space shuttle," the witness stated. "I only saw the underside of this object, and swerved my car all over the road as I looked up in amazement."

The witness pulled over and immediately drew a diagram of what was just seen.

No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, which was filed on October 25, 2010.

A UFO hovers over rooftops - leaving locals believing aliens travelled across the universe to check out their lives in Rotherham.

Baffled residents helplessly shouted at the triangular craft as it crept above the South Yorkshire town.

Eerily it looks just like an object spotted over Belgium in 1990 - which so spooked authorities that F-16 fighter jets were scrambled to intercept it.

A Georgia couple watched and photographed a hovering disc-shaped UFO while driving along Route 141W (Peachtree Parkway) at 11:25 a.m. on October 23, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The wife was a passenger in the vehicle and saw the object first.

The husband describes the object that he also saw.

"It was silver in color," the husband stated. "At times it looked cigar shaped but the more we looked at it, it appeared more of a disk. It's hard to tell exactly how high in the sky it was but I would say it was about the same altitude as a low flying plane. The object was not really moving, it appeared stationary."

The wife was then able to snap one photo of the object. But just 10 seconds after taking the image, the object was gone.

"We spent the next couple minutes looking out the windows as we were driving to see if we could again spot it but to no avail. It was definitely gone."

The couple moved on to their destination, but saw the object again at the same location just 25 minutes later.

"As we neared the location where we originally sited the object, we began to look for it again. Amazingly, we spot it, in the same general vicinity, although this time it's traveling in the opposite direction and moving at a slow but steady speed. I immediately find a parking lot to pull into; it was a church. As I'm about to park the car, the object is in full site, again, moving relatively slow. I take an additional 10 seconds to turn the car 180 degrees into a parking spot. By the time my wife and I get out of the car, the object is now nearly out of sight in the far horizon. I couldn't even spot it anymore and it was my wife (with her better far sight) that spotted it way off in the distance for a couple seconds before it again disappeared."

A Minnesota witness reports watching a "clump of 8 or more lights" in the sky when "out of nowhere" a large, black triangle UFO "glided from across the street" about 40 feet over the neighbor's house on October 20, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The incident began when the witness was watching multiple lights and a neighbor joined in.

"I noticed a clump of 8 or more lights in the far distance and at first thought they were stars," the witness stated. "Then the lights started moving in and out from the center light, but they were jumping instead of actually moving (best way I can describe it). My neighbor came outside to smoke a cigarette, and I asked her to look at what I was seeing because I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me. She confirmed what I was seeing, and within 5 minutes we noticed that the group of lights were moving closer and closer to our location."

The neighbor and a boyfriend went inside - and the original witness then saw the triangle UFO. The witness was just 50 or 60 feet away.

"It had absolutely no lights on it, and made no noise what so ever. I literally stared at it for about 5 seconds. It was moving slower than an airplane and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I jumped up to try to keep watching it, but could no longer see it. It had white or grey markings on its bottom that were not numbers, or letters but half ring shapes."
