US: Four UFOs Hover Over Residential Neighborhood in Commerce, Colorado

The four UFOs that hovered over a residential neighborhood in Commerce City, Colorado on August 12, 2011 were recorded on video by a family who witnessed the unidentified flying objects through the window of their home. The objects appeared in the blue sky on a sunny day without explanation.


All four objects had the appearance of perfectly round or spherical orbs. They glowed brightly against the sky, and each one closely resembled a full moon. Of course, the UFOs were obviously not four full moons hanging in the sky, but something mysterious that remains unidentified.

US: UFO five miles wide: Series of odd events unfold in Missouri

A disc-shaped object possibly five miles wide was reported hovering over downtown Kansas City, MO, while a series of other odd events were reported from the same region, according to August 10, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness is a member of Missouri MUFON and had just left her office and was traveling west on 23rd Street in nearby Independence, MO, near Noland Road, on August 7, 2011.

"I saw a huge, disc-shaped, dull gray metallic object hovering at what looked like the north half of downtown Kansas City directly to my west and slightly north," the witness stated. "You can see the Kansas City skyline clearly from the high hill I was driving on."

The woman is an investigator with MUFON and had received a report of a similar craft spotted over South Kansas City. The UFO appeared to be very large.

Eyewitness states:

Wednesday's night sky over Vancouver, BC played host to a pulsating UFO that was captured on video during skywatching activities from Burnaby Mountain Park on July 27, 2011. The UFO was detected by a night vision camera and tracked for nearly five minutes as it travelled SE to NW before disappearing behind a stand of trees. During this period, the UFO was first seen being overtaken by a second, faster-moving object before amplifying its luminous output in what veteran skywatchers describe as a "power-up" incident.

While in flight, the UFO performed multiple power-ups, inviting comparison with another object recorded four nights earlier near Vancouver City Hall.

A Tockwith man believes he had a surprise encounter when he spotted a UF0 in the sky above his home.

Dave Hartley, of Prince Rupert Drive, was minding his own business taking the rubbish bags out on Friday July 29 at around 10.30pm when he claims he saw the unidentifiable flying object in the night sky.

He said: "The object was moving very fast, from East to West with no noise.

"I didn't feel scared, but puzzled as to what it might be, a space station or satellite of some kind.

"It had a very bright reddish light and was travelling very high and silently. It seemed to make a very slight rumble as it disappeared into the distance and that was it."

UK: Ministry of Defence files on UFO sightings released

Newly released government files on UFOs show a lack of will and resources to study thousands of reported sightings.

The Ministry of Defence files released by the National Archives cover reported sightings of UFOs from 1985 to 2007.

In one, a military officer predicts embarassment if the public discovered a "lack of funds and higher priorities" were stopping UFO investigations.

The 34 files include sightings of lights over Glastonbury and a "flying saucer" in Nottinghamshire.

They can be downloaded free of charge for a month from the National Archives website.

National Archives consultant Dr David Clarke said it was about time the data was released.

"One of the most interesting documents in the files is a piece from an intelligence officer, who basically says that despite thousands of reports that they've received since the Second World War, they've never done any study or spent any money or time on the subject, and they say that people just won't believe that when they find out."

Found dead in the road, this unusual white creature captured the hearts and mind of Alexandria, Minnesota. Everyone had a theory about the origins of this mysterious animal.

Unfortunately, the puzzling story has come to a predictable end. Minnesota's Department of Natural Resources examined images of the roadkill and pegged the animal as a badger.

"Testing my new Canon 60D camera filming out of the window after a few weeks of running through the footage for other purposes I noticed what I thought was maybe light reflecting from the windows on board however looking closer I can see there looks to be more to it.

What's strange is the way the object / UFO? appears to accelerate as it enters the frame from the left hand side. It couldn't be passing debris or another plane as it is traveling in a forward direction faster then anything I know of or have seen before and I am an aviation enthusiast."

The senior US military official who led the investigation into the supposed landing of a UFO in a Suffolk forest has spoken of the incident for the first time in three decades.

The incident had been known as Britain's Roswell: a group of American servicemen stationed in Suffolk go into a forest to investigate mysterious lights and emerge convinced they have seen an alien spacecraft.

The sightings, in December 1980, remain unexplained and have become the country's most tantalising and enduring UFO riddle.

One of those involved even claimed to have touched an alien spacecraft.

Now, the man who led the only investigation into the "Rendlesham Forest Incident" has spoken about the sightings - but his decision to end thirty years of silence is unlikely to please the UFO-believers as he suggests his men could have been hoaxed.

In 1980, US Air Force Colonel Conrad was base commander of the twin airfields of Woodbridge and Bentwaters, near Ipswich, which are understood at the time to have stored nuclear weapons.

There's the Bermuda Triangle and then there's Alaska's Bermuda Triangle. Almost everyone is familiar with the mystery triangle that shrouds the North-Atlantic Ocean and in recent times, the mention of the Bermuda Triangle does not bring out any reaction other than the ordinary.

But Alaska's Bermuda Triangle is a different matter altogether. The supposed triangle exists in the state between the city of Juneau and Yakutat in the Southeast; the Barrow mountain ranges in the north and the city of Anchorage right in the centre of Alaska.

To believe that there exists something known as Alaska's Bermuda Triangle might be difficult - it took years and years to get used to the now-matter-of-fact Bermuda Triangle, but considering the number of missing persons in the nation's least populated state, believing about Alaska's Bermuda Triangle becomes a must.

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources officials have been unable to identify a mystery carcass found in Douglas County with certainty, prompting further investigation..

The dead white mammal was spotted this week on a Douglas County road with five claws, dark tufts of hair on its back and head and long toenails.

Roadkill is nothing new for Minnesotans, but this curious creature got people talking.

Lacey Ilse said she was driving near her home on County Road 86, south of Alexandria, when she spotted the mysterious mammal.

"We saw something in the middle of the road, and we knew it wasn't a dog or a cat, because it didn't have hair. It had a clump of hair and all the rest was just white skin," Ilse said."it's ear was all mis-shaped. To me, it looked like half-human."

Ilse said she soon posted pictures of the animal on Facebook, and rumors and speculation took off.
