The amateur videographer suffers from the usual lack of skill, moving the camera like a second assistant director on NYPD Blue, but when they zoom in on the object, that's when the real mystery begins.

In the latest UFO news, a man videotaping two silvery orbs catches the sight of a bird flying into one of them and plummeting to the ground.

The video, posted on YouTube, shows one silvery orb hovering high above, passing through what looks like the chemtrail of an airplane. Suddenly, a second orb appears nearby, seemingly appearing out of thin air.

As the witness zooms in on the unidentified flying objects, it's clear that the UFOs are not of any known type of aircraft.

Suddenly, a bird in flight crashes into one of the orbs and begins its descent to the ground, apparently killed from the impact.

In the last 48 hours a number of people in Sooke have reported feeling powerful tremors that some believe are an earthquake. "I heard what sounded like a freight train coming, that rumble, and it was very brief. My bed actually shifted," one Sooke homeowner told CTV News. Seismologists say there are no indications of an earthquake in the Sooke area and all calling the recent reports a mystery.

A man named Larry recounted his own research - including telepathic communication with "them" - conducted in preparation for the day extraterrestrials would reveal themselves to earthlings. (Too out there, Wallenstein decided.)

People pulled him aside to share anecdotes of mystery lights and star gates, or to whisper the names of neighbors and brothers with tales to tell.

Something strange is afoot --- unknown sounds heard globally over the past few days.. basically starting up in rapid pace on January 11, 2012 --- up until today (Jan 16 2012). I don't know how long this will continue, or what it is.

An extreme weather video posted to YouTube produces awe at the power of nature, but is also igniting an old debate: do UFOs hide in clouds?

It's a natural conclusion, one that even the ancients drew. Lightning from the clouds was often construed as anger from the Gods. But in the modern world, especially thanks to Steven Spielberg, such anvil-shaped clouds are thought, in some circles, to be camouflaging extraterrestrials and their UFOs.

What's interesting, and awe-inspiring, about this video is the clear blue sky surrounding the anvil hammerhead cloud. It's startling to see such fierce electrical activity on an otherwise cloudless day.

Usually, when a lightning storm erupts, the bolts from the blue come from all around, not one centrally located spot. It's a testament to the power of the natural world that the conditions are ripe for such majesty emanating from a single, threatening cloud head.

A video claiming to show two UFOs flying across a wintery Scottish sky has provoked an online debate.

Almost 10,000 users have watched the footage since it was posted on YouTube on January 1.
