US: Las Vegas, Nevada; A cluster of mysterious luminescent orbs above the Las Vegas Strip caught on tape last month have some wondering if the city that draws millions of tourists a year might also have some extraterrestrial visitors.

The video, titled "Recent UFO footage over Las Vegas Blvd," was recorded March 21 by a visitor from Ohio and posted to the video-sharing site YouTube three days later. It has since been viewed more than 44,000 times and spread to other social networking sites such as Facebook.

UFO Encounter Revealed After Almost 40 Years By Ex-Military Pilot

On the night of Feb. 6, 1975, Marine Reserve Squadron Capt. Larry Jividen was piloting a T-39D Sabreliner (see image above) combat trainer and utility aircraft with five Naval officer pilots on board for a special training flight. He didn't know the evening would evolve into a game of "tag" with an unidentified flying object.

Jividen hasn't spoken about that experience from nearly 40 years ago -- until now.

The nine-year Marine Corps officer -- and later commercial airline pilot -- had taken off at twilight for a two-hour roundtrip that began and ended at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida.

"At about 9 o'clock, we were descending from a high altitude -- around 33,000 feet -- and I looked off to the right side of the airplane where I saw a solid red light at our 1:00 o'clock position and altitude," Jividen told The Huffington Post.

"It was not flashing like normal anti-collision lights flash on airplanes. I thought it might be some other traffic, but I wasn't sure, so I called Pensacola Approach Control and said, 'Understand we're cleared for the approach, but we have traffic off to our right, and who's first for the approach?"

A video on YouTube shows a UFO zooming over the ancient rock formations dotting Monument Valley, California, on a brilliantly clear day. What is it?

The video is a snippet from what looks like a leisurely drive in the area, taking in the sights. As the camera sweeps past a particularly beautiful rock formation on the left side of the road, an unidentified flying object zooms past at high-speed overhead and nearly out of camera range.

Ghostwriter? Mysterious Emails Sent From Beyond the Grave

Grieving friends and family members of a deceased Pennsylvania man were both spooked and comforted when they suddenly received mysterious posthumous emails from his account.

The BBC reports that Jack Froese, 32, of Dunmore, Pa., died suddenly of a heart arrhythmia in June 2011.

Five months after Froese's death, his best friend Tim Hart said he received an email from Froese's account, with the subject line, "I'm Watching."

"One night in November, I was sitting on my couch, going through my emails on my phone and it popped up, 'sender: Jack Froese.' I turned ghost white when I read it," Hart told the BBC. "It was very quick and short but to a point that only Jack and I could relate on."

As noted in Part 1, the late Dr. James E. McDonald - who held the title "Senior Physicist, Institute of Atmospheric Physics" at the University of Arizona - also holds the distinction of being one of the very few scientists to actually study the UFO phenomenon. In a prepared statement before the U.S. Congress' House Committee on Science and Astronautics, delivered on July 29, 1968, McDonald said this:
"From time to time in the history of science, situations have arisen in which a problem of ultimately enormous importance went begging for adequate attention simply because that problem appeared to involve phenomena so far outside the current bounds of scientific knowledge that it was not even regarded as a legitimate subject of serious scientific concern. That is precisely the situation in which the UFO problem now lies. One of the principal results of my own recent intensive study of the UFO enigma is this: I have become convinced that the scientific community, not only in this country but throughout the world, has been casually ignoring as nonsense a matter of extraordinary scientific importance."1
McDonald arrived at that opinion after several authorized visits to the U.S. Air Force's UFO Project Blue Book to review its files. Indignant at what he discovered, he wrote, "There are hundreds of good cases in the Air Force files that should have led to top-level scientific scrutiny of [UFOs] years ago, yet these cases have been swept under the rug in a most disturbing way by Project Blue Book investigators and their consultants."2

Huge 'UFO Fragment' Discovered in Siberia

A metal object the size of a Volkswagen Beetle has been discovered near a remote village in Siberia. Local residents presumed it recently fell to Earth from space, but officials from Russia's space agency examined the object and said it "is not related to space technology."

Locals discovered the roughly 200-kilogram (440 pounds) object, which is cylindrical and capped on one end by a ridged dome, March 18 in the forest near the village of Otradnesnky. They attached the "UFO fragment" (as media outlets have called it) to a trailer and dragged it through the snow to their village. They then alerted Moscow authorities, according to a report in Britain's The Telegraph, and the object was confiscated for inspection.

Following the initial examination, an official for Roscosmos, the Russian space agency, reportedly said: "The object found is not related to space technology. A final conclusion can be made after a detailed study of the object by experts."

Is this the case UFO skeptics have been dreading? Sightings of mysterious flying craft with capabilities unknown on Earth have confounded mankind throughout recorded history. Most have been convincingly explained away as unfamiliar aircraft, natural phenomena or illusions. But then there are the others, witnessed in our time by pilots and air traffic controllers, military leaders, scientists, law enforcement officers and other trained observers, sometimes with physical evidence, including corroboration on film and video.

"We don't know what they are," says Nick Pope, a former head of the official UFO office in Britain's Ministry of Defense. "But they do exist."

The strange sounds heard over three straight nights in Clintonville, Wisconsin, have now been reported 70 miles to the south in Montello. What are they?

Also, officials in Montello are reporting an unidentifiable slimy sludge has invaded the waste water system, never seen before. Can it have something to do with the weird booming noises residents of both towns are reporting?

In Clintonville this evening, a town meeting is being held with city officials doing their best to answer questions and allay fears.

But, they admit, so far they have no explanation for the mysterious, thunderous booms shaking the ground in both far-flung towns.

Residents are bracing for another sleepless night, even for those not in the affected areas, because of the unease and fear this phenomenon is causing.

Why is it happening only at night? Are aliens starting to work the night shift?

UFO Photo Mysteriously Vanished From British Ministry Of Defence Office

It was said to be one of the best photos of a UFO, and a poster-size image of it hung on a wall of Britain's Ministry of Defence. But then, at some point between 1991 to 1994, it vanished, gone, never to be seen again.

On the day in 1991 that Nick Pope interviewed for the position of chief of the Ministry of Defence's UFO office, he could not help but notice the UFO image on the wall. "I went in for an informal interview, and anyone sitting in that office found their eyes drawn to that image," Pope told The Huffington Post.

Other original pictures, negatives and the wall poster somehow vanished in the 1990s. Only a Ministry of Defence line drawing remains.

Ghost stories abound around the old Herne Bay Pier near Kent, England, ever since a violent storm isolated the pier head out at sea in 1979. Since then, many reports of a ghostly figure shuffling back and forth have chilled the spine. Now, a new video offers up some real proof to back up the tale.

In the video below, on a suitably misty day, the pier head is filmed from a car parked on shore. Among the shapes outlined against the sky is one in the middle of the pier, indistinguishable from the rest.
