Many years have gone by in search of evidence that could give us a minimal glimpse into the reality and existence of the UFO phenomenon and all that the phenomenon entails. The Men-in-Black form part of the stories associated with the UFO phenomenon, and they appear every so often in isolated incidents. There were numerous cases in Argentina in the late 1960s and early '70s, resulting in truly interesting cases.

Let me start by telling you as story that affected us closely, since it was an experience that befell my husband, Jorge Pérez Simondini: On one occasion, while performing a audit for the Perez Companc company's fishing fleet, he came a cross the crewman, or more properly said, the ship's machinist, who told him that during a personnel transfer trip from the Port of Golfo San Jorge (a broad semi-circular gulf located on the Argentinean Atlantic, in Patagonia facing the waters of the Argentinean Sea) to the YPF undersea drilling platform, halfway there, something got the crew excited, prompting sailors and oil rig personnel to look over the sides of the vessel. One can imagine their surprise when they looked over the side to see a light underwater, running past the ship at high speed. A few kilometers ahead, it broke the surface, rising vertically and swiftly before vanishing into the skies.

When the U.K. released declassified UFO documents a few days ago, the 25 files of nearly 7,000 pages included how:
  • Prime Minister Tony Blair had been briefed on UFO sightings in 1998.
  • The Ministry of Defense was concerned about military jets crashing after reported encounters with UFOs.
  • U.K. Defense Intelligence wanted to create weapons out of little known atmospheric plasmas.
"Back then, in 1998, if you had said to me that by 2012, the Ministry of Defense will have disclosed virtually everything they have on this subject, I would have found that difficult to believe. And yet, here we are. They have," said David Clarke, the U.K. National Archives consultant (seen in the video above) and journalism lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.

Police are used to going on strange calls, but one incident early Monday morning in Port Coquitlam could be fit for The X-Files, or perhaps Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Coquitlam Mounties responded to a call of a man and a woman screaming from their apartment on Wilson Avenue.

When police arrived, the couple told investigators they had seen two "non-human entities" on their patio.

Several Mounties scoured the area in search of the spirited suspects, but turned up nothing.

RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung said there was no indication drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident, nor could he say whether or not the couple really believed they saw something other than a human.

"Anything is possible, I guess," he told The NOW. "People see ghosts all the time - who am I to say ghosts don't exist?"

Speaking at the Euroscience Open Forum conference in Dublin, Jocelyn Bell Burnell said: 'I do suspect we are going to get signs of life elsewhere, maybe even intelligent life, within the next century.

How well prepared are we? Have we thought of how we approach them? Should we put them in a zoo, eat them, send in GIs to bring them democracy?'

She said we are most likely to find alien life where we find rocky planets with carbon dioxide and ozone in the atmospheres. The Oxford University professor said: 'If we do suspect there is intelligent life out there, are we going to make ourselves known to them or not?

'There are interesting questions about who you would tell first - the Press, the Prime Minister, the Pope? We should start thinking now.'

However, she said that even if we do find signs of alien life, it is likely to take decades to talk to them from Earth via radio or lasers.

Professor Bell Burnell said: 'Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. So you are probably talking of conversations that could take 50 or 100 years, just one way.'

Petoskey - The mystery has been solved.

The strange lights area residents reported seeing in the night sky this week were actually coming from aircraft used in training at the Grayling Air Gunnery Range, said Patricia Luna, executive assistant at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center.

Nineteen Air National Guard units from seven different states are participating in Northern Strike 2012, "a large-scale training exercise that emphasizes air-to-ground operations," according to a Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs news release.

Luna said the training, including night and day flights, began Monday, July 9, and is to continue through Friday, July 20.

The lights were spotted by several people throughout Northern Michigan late Tuesday, prompting several calls to CCE Central Dispatch which covers Charlevoix, Cheboygan and Emmet counties.

Comment: Here is the original article of this event. So, supposedly, those lights were military aircraft. Maybe the FAA and the military should communicate more as to where their aircraft are since the FAA was quoted in the original article as saying there was no unusual activity in the area. Damage control?

The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall is probably the most famous and most widely used reported ghost photo there is. According to legend, the "Brown Lady of Raynham Hall" is the ghost of Lady Dorothy Walpole (1686-1726) and is so named because of the brown brocade dress it is claimed she wears.

It is said that Lady Townsend's husband, Charles Townsend, suspected his wife of being unfaithful and even though she is listed as having been buried in 1725 many people think that her death and funeral were faked. Instead, Lady Townsend was locked away in a remote part of the house until she passed away in 1726 from smallpox never allowing her to even see her children. Ever since then she is thought to be haunting Raynham Hall.

Raynham Hall is a country house in Norfolk, England. For nearly 400 years it has been the seat of the Townsend family.

Pay close attention to the timing of the events to see if this is planned by the ghost, just a coincidence or deliberately planned?

Zfort Ertfay quickly interrupted a brisk walk on the Qawra front when he spotted an unidentified flying object hovering over the horizon on Thursday.

The 29-year-old quickly swiped out his mobile phone and snapped away at the object, unable to make out what it was, except that it was triangular in shape, dark and flying at high speed.

"I was out walking, when, all of a sudden, I saw something appear in the sky. It disappeared in a matter of a few seconds," said Mr Ertfay, from Romania, who is in Malta visiting friends.

The sighting happened on Thursday evening, at dusk. Mr Ertfay estimates it was sometime around 8 p.m.

The Armed Forces of Malta said that an elaborate military exercise took place off Qawra on the day using the Augusta AV212 helicopter. However, it is recorded to have taken place at about 10 p.m., a couple of hours after the sighting. The helicopter took off at 9.05 p.m.
