I have been looking through some of this year's photographs, and decided to put them in a video on youtube.

Just like always some of these may be easily identified if all of the facts were made known.

Seattle - Mysterious crop circles have appeared in an eastern Washington wheat field - not far from the nation's largest hydropower producer - but area farmers preparing for the summer's harvest find the distraction more amusing than alarming.

"You can't do anything other than laugh about it," said Cindy Geib, who owns the field along with her husband, Greg. "You just kind of roll with the theory it's aliens and you're special because aliens chose your spot."

Friends called the Geibs on July 24 when the pattern of flattened wheat was spotted off Highway 174, about five miles north of the town of Wilbur. The field is about 10 miles south of the Grand Coulee dam, which the Bureau of Reclamation says is the largest hydropower producer in the United States.

The circles resemble a four-leaf clover and remind Cindy Geib of Mickey Mouse ears. The design knocked down about an acre of their wheat. Some of it could be salvaged by combines when the harvest starts in a week or two, she said, but some will be lost.

UFO California light show... this is crazy

Kuala Lumpur - A locally shot video posted on YouTube has got people talking about a possible UFO sighting over Malaysia.


But experts have shot down the possibility saying that there had to be an explanation for the phenomenon.

While having dinner at Sunway Mentari two weeks ago, videographer John Tan noticed the stars shining extra brightly and in clusters of blinking colourful lights and started capturing the event in his video camera.

An oddly shaped UFO, clearly not a satellite, was spotted by a sharp-eyed observer monitoring NASA's live feed out the window of the International Space Station. What is it?

The video, posted to YouTube, was filmed by camcorder off a computer screen. The dark object is hard to see against the blue colors of the Earth as it slowly rotates below. But an enlargement of the image shows an unusual shape which doesn't resemble any kind of launched spacecraft.

UFO researcher Mary Rodwell says the Bundaberg region is following a global trend of increased sightings of the mysterious objects.

Ms Rodwell, who lives at Agnes Water, said she was receiving a lot of reports of sightings.

"A lot of people are wary of reporting sightings because of the ridicule factor," she said.

But she said sightings were being made by several people at once.

"Sometimes they may be witnessed by several members of the same family," she said.

"There have also been several sightings by people on fishing boats where they've all seen the same thing."

I don't know where to start.... at approximately 4pm today I was outside behind my house in nashville, TN smoking a cigarette and playing fetch with my 6 month old dach-griffon puppy. Suddenly my dog starts acting strange, runs to get the stick we were playing with and suddenly he stops moving; the usual playful energy in his face and general demeanor just drop and he sits there a few feet in front of me.

I look up into the sky and see a metallic gold disk shape off in the distance what looks to be a few hundred feet behind the trees/rooftops. I stood there for a few seconds, grabbed my phone out of my pocket and snapped the following shots. It's just sitting there in the sky, then in an almost comically cliche'd fashion it sort of rolled/turned on it's side and zips upwards and to the left and out of sight at a pretty rapid pace.

The phone I took these with was an iphone 4s. Anybody that has one of these knows that when you open the camera app, it is set on picture/video record as a default depending on how you last had it set. Mine happened to be on still photo mode, I wish I had a chance to get video but it literally disappeared as soon as I started snapping (read below for more details)

The following winged wonder only became known to me in mid-October 2007, when Jan Patience, acting editor of the now-defunct British monthly magazine Beyond for which I contributed a major cryptozoology article each issue, brought to my attention a truly extraordinary email that she had just received from a reader. At that time, I was preparing a lead article on lesser-known British mystery beasts for the next issue of the magazine, so the email reached me in time for me to investigate it further and include a full account of the case in my article (Beyond, January 2008), and it is this account of mine that I shall now quote from here.

The email in question had been sent by Jacki Hartley of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, concerning a truly bizarre beast that she claims to have encountered on three totally separate occasions, and which she reported as follows:

Back in 1969 I was 4 years old and travelling back from my auntie's house in London. Dad had been driving for about half an hour and we were going through the countryside. I was in the back of the car when I suddenly heard an awful, screeching scream. Mum and dad were in the front chatting and heard nothing. It was twilight and as I looked out of the back window into the trees, I saw what I could only describe as a monster.

It had bat wings which it unfolded and stretched out before folding back up again, red eyes and a kind of monster monkey face with a parrot's beak and was about 3 feet in height.

To my 4 year old mind it was terrifying and I had nightmares for weeks. I did not have a name for this thing in my vocabulary and so called it The Bat Winged Monkey Bird as it seemed to be such a weird mixture of animals.

I saw it again late one night when I was eleven from the back window of the car on our way home from Hastings, I think we were travelling through Robertsbridge and I saw it for the third time last year.

It was 4.30 in the morning and I was woken by the same horrible screeching sound. Thinking someone was being murdered in the street I jumped out of bed and ran to the window, catching the tail end of it as it flew past. I knew immediately what it was. . .the same horrible monster thing I had seen all those years ago, The Bat Winged Monkey Bird was back.

I would be very grateful if you or any of your readers could shed any light on or put a name to this thing.

Continuing my cryptozoological kick, I wish to take a look at yet another rather elusive cryptid that made a small splash on the paranormal scene and left just as suddenly as it appeared . Even years later the witnesses are stunned by what they encountered that night. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's take a trip back in time to April 21, 1977 and the town of Dover, Massachusetts.

Around 10:30 pm the night of April 21, 1977 three teenage boys were driving along an area outside of a bar when their headlights illuminated a bizarre creature that appeared to be crawling along a wall near Farm Street. Originally one of the witness, Bill Bartlett, thought that they were looking at what could have been a dog or cat. Yet as he got a better look at IT he quickly realized this was no creature he had ever seen before. Later Bartlett would be quoted as saying

It was not a dog or a cat. It had no tail. It had an egg-shaped head. It looked like a baby's body with long arms and legs. It had a big head about the same size as the body, it was sort of melon shaped. The color of it was... the color of people in the Sunday comics.

The witness was unable to see anything that resembled a nose, ears, or a mouth on the creature. It's also interesting to note that evidently the driver, Bartlett, was the only one of the three in the vehicle who was able to see the creature as his two friends were too busy laughing and talking to notice it. Once Bartlett had returned home he drew a sketch of the creature that he had seen.
