The Daily Beast demands Trump supporters be arrested & humiliated, but shocked when they're threatened with the same?

Gloating anti-Trumpers have called for the president's supporters to be economically ruined, even jailed, since his apparent loss last month. Yet they run crying to the FBI when their targets turn the same heat on them.

When the Daily Beast discovered that a website called Enemiesofthepeople.org was allegedly doxxing state and local officials who'd stood in the way of President Donald Trump's efforts to challenge last month's election results, they should have been overcome with a sense of déjà vu.

After all, the Beast's own editor had just this month penned a piece promising to neither "forgive" nor "forget" the supposedly beyond-the-pale actions of Trump and his supporters, instead making them suffer to the best of his abilities. "Only exposure, pain, humiliation, and (inshallah) incarceration will lead to a moment of reckoning" for the Republican Party, editor-at-large Rick Wilson frothed.

Biden racked up 140,000 votes in five seconds?

A recently published review of available election data shows: major voting machine manipulation in favor of Biden. In almost every Michigan precinct, Biden had exact 50-55% higher absentee totals than Trump. In 5 seconds, Biden's total votes in Michigan went up 140,000 votes. In 9 problem Michigan Counties, the absentee votes between Trump and Biden are so similar that the study's author says they are clear indications of vote machine manipulation.

She spoke with Greg Kelly about the Texas case that was tossed by the US Supreme Court.

Saudi Arabia has put a women's rights activist, Loujain al-Hathloul, on trial in a special court set up to handle terrorism cases, more than two years after she was detained over her peaceful activism.

She is accused, along with several other campaigners, of activities that "undermine the kingdom's security, stability and national unity," according to the state news agency. The trial began on International Human Rights Day, an irony noted by her family and campaigners.

"Guess what Saudi Arabia does on International Human Rights Day? It sends brave & peaceful activists like Loujain al-Hathloul to their first trial at the 'terrorism court', simply for wanting basic human rights," Amnesty International said on Twitter.

United Airlines kicks couple off flight because their 2-year old wouldn't "comply" and wear a mask

What is the world coming to when a toddler is expected to "comply"? A Colorado couple was kicked off their flight to Newark, NJ, when their 2-year old wouldn't wear a mask. He wouldn't "comply" with the mask-wearing rule on the plane. What toddler would?

The upset mother posted a video on social media to explain her outrage:

Comment: Airlines, being an essential part of travel, have taken tyranny to new heights. Covid is only the latest excuse for power-hungry employees to wreak havoc on their customers' travel plans. Children do not need, and shouldn't be wearing masks. Actually no one should be wearing one.

Facebook gets rich off of ads that rip off its users

Two years ago
, a handful of Facebook employees began to raise internal alarms about a series of advertisements appearing in their news feeds. Purchased by a then up-and-coming lip-synching app called Musical.ly — now known as TikTok — the ads featured teenage girls provocatively gyrating to music in short video clips.

Curious as to why he and his colleagues were seeing ads ostensibly meant for young girls, one Facebook employee, who was also a father, dug into the company's advertising system at the time to determine what was going on. What he discovered wasn't an error, but Facebook's advertising system working as intended. The social network's algorithms had been optimizing the ads for the audience interacting with them the most: middle-aged men.

Initial complaints about the ads, which continued after Musical.ly was acquired and turned into TikTok, were rebuffed. TikTok, which reportedly spent $1 billion on advertising in 2018, was a valued business partner, one employee was told by higher-ups. Another person in a position to know told BuzzFeed News that a Facebook manager's response to the concerns was to restrict access to data about the ads' targeting.

The ads persisted for at least a year and a half — long after they had been publicly flagged in Facebook's Workplace forum. Following publication of this story company spokesperson Joe Osborne disputed this timeline, saying "This isn't accurate, we first learned about this is in 2019, not 2017."

"It's so weird that I only hear my 8-year old nieces talk about tiktok, but then see these ads with voluptuous young ladies targeted to men over 35 years old," one Facebook data scientist wrote on the company's internal message board last year. "Are we indeed making sure Facebook is not creating a predator's paradise?"

Sweden to remove 'mother' and 'father' from parental code to make it gender neutral

The present-day Parental Code initially came into force some 70 years ago and is largely based on "the traditional nuclear family with a mother, father, and children". According to Sweden's Gender Equality Minister Åsa Lindhagen, today's families may look different, and children can be born in different ways.

The Swedish government has appointed a special inquiry to make the nation's legislation gender neutral, national broadcaster SVT Nyheter reported. Among other things, this is expected to erase such concepts as "father" and "mother" from the Parental Code.

The present-day Parental Code originally came into force on 1 January 1950 and largely remains based on "the traditional nuclear family with a mother, father, and children".

"I've got some good news for you," Azar said on ABC's "Good Morning America."

"Just a little bit ago, the FDA informed Pfizer that they do intend to proceed toward an authorization for their vaccine."

Russian Army & Kremlin say foreign states & pharma giants waging information war to discredit Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine

Foreign nations are bankrolling a pseudoscience propaganda campaign to discredit Russia's pioneering Covid-19 vaccine, Sputnik V, according to both the Kremlin and the country's military.

On Friday, President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused "some countries and their giant pharmaceutical companies" of working hard to prevent Sputnik V entering the foreign market, pointing to the politicization of the international competition to create a vaccine.

"These aspirations are not just noticed by the Kremlin, but they are visible with the naked eye," Peskov said. "The competition is very tough, but it is good when this competition is, in fact, fair."

Comment: Obviously these UK scientists aren't buying the propaganda. From RT:
UK's AstraZeneca to team up with creators of Russia's Sputnik V on Covid-19 vaccine trials, cites potential 'wider protection'
11 Dec, 2020 10:01

British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca has announced a partnership with the team behind the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine to explore the potential of combining its own experimental formula with the pioneering Russian product.

The agreement, revealed on Friday morning, came after the Russian scientists took to Twitter to propose that AstraZeneca try the combination. They said it was worth experimenting with the model preferred by Moscow researchers and using two different types of injection, rather than relying on the same one twice, as AstraZeneca has done previously.

In a statement to the press, the British company unveiled "a clinical trial programme to assess the safety and immunogenicity of a combination of AZD1222, developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University, and Sputnik V, developed by the Russian Gamaleya Research institute."

They added that "combinations of different Covid-19 vaccines may be an important step in generating wider protection through a stronger immune response and better accessibility."

Responding to the news, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, which financed the Gamaleya Institute's research, wrote that it was "an example of Russia's proactive approach: it has not only created one of the world's most effective vaccines to date against the coronavirus, but is ready to share Sputnik V vectors with those willing to produce vaccines using the two-vector technology."

...

The UK media has previously drawn criticism for its coverage of Sputnik V. Earlier this week, the BBC reported that it had been "rushed out to wary Russians," while remaining far more positive about the start of immunizations in the country using US pharma giant Pfizer's vaccine. It remains to be seen how the Western media will cover the news that the UK's flagship formula is turning to the East in a bid to improve its efficacy.
