'Drive by shooting': Cop deploys taser from car window at boy on ATV-killing him

Warren, MI - Under no circumstances is it ever okay to fire a weapon, lethal or not, at an unarmed child who is controlling an ATV-especially if you are a police officer and you are also in a vehicle. However, that is exactly what happened in Warren, Mich. last weekend and now an aspiring high school freshman is dead because of it.

Michigan State Police Officer Mark Bessner allegedly fired his taser from his police cruiser, striking 15-year-old Damon Grimes. Grimes then, according to his family's lawyer, either died immediately from the 50,000 volts surging through his body, or died from the subsequent seizure which left him unable to safely control his all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) which crashed into the back of a pickup.

Bessner was apparently trying to get the teen to get off of the roadway and thought it would be a good idea to deploy his taser from one moving vehicle to another (ATV). Since Grimes died as a result of the officer's actions, it now seems the Michigan State trooper may not have properly thought through all of the ramifications of his actions before deploying the deadly taser.

Opinion: Western leaders celebrating Islamic holidays is ridiculous

saudi tent city

Comment: The piece below is an example of the type of response that should be expected. Western governments are schizophrenic when it comes to the Muslim world. On the one hand, bomb the hell out of them, support Israel's system of apartheid, and constantly maneuver to control Middle Eastern and North African governments - or topple them when that doesn't work. On the other hand, fawn over the Muslim world, label Islamophobic anyone who intuits the thrust of American foreign policy, and make accepting migrants a moral imperative. Oh, and never fail to flatter the Saudis, purveyors of the Wahhabism adopted by jihadists the world over. Given all of that, what kind of response should we expect?

People who act as though they are smarter, better, and generally set apart from the unwashed masses are really annoying. The so-called "intelligencia" or "coastal elite" are a big part of the reason Trump won. Like most people, I have the tendency towards selfishness and ego, especially when talking about subjects I am well-versed in. This is a tendency I try to temper as much as possible, because I don't want to be "one of those people". I want to defend liberty, and think the best of people! I don't want to call people sheep!

Today, though, I'm going to feel superior for the next hour, because for goodness sake: How are so many people so painfully and insultingly stupid.

To be fair, I am in a bit of a mood. My son has been sick for a week.

I've been sleeping like a baby - like an actual baby, not this fantasy Huggies commercial baby that lays there angelically in his crib while projected stars bounce around on the walls.

I haven't even finished my first coffee yet, and already the trending topics on Twitter and their respective responses have managed to piss me off.

Dirty Trick? Bots flood government agency's comments section just as net neutrality regulation is revisited, muddies true public sentiment

Federal Communications Commission
The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday swam in a sea of nearly 22 million comments after a deadline passed for the public to offer opinions on an issue that could shape the internet for years to come.

But the comments may settle little. Millions of them appeared to come from robotic networks, or bots, and were the equivalent of spam mail.

The confusion generated by the fake comments left powerful telecommunications and cable companies battling with citizen advocacy groups over the true nature of public sentiment ahead of an open FCC meeting Sept. 28. Both sides said public opinion was on their side.

AT&T, the communications conglomerate, claimed that "most" of the 21.8 million comments sent to the FCC "appear to us to be fraudulent."

"Millions of comments were generated using phony email addresses. Millions of others were generated using duplicative email or physical addresses. And still others originated overseas," Joan Marsh, AT&T's executive vice president of regulatory and state external affairs, wrote in a blog post.

Controversial Word of Faith Fellowship church faces growing human-trafficking probe

church congregation
Members of the World of Faith Fellowship Church in Spindale, representing 15 countries, perform their “Hymn of Nations” during Wednesday night service in November 2012. The controversial church is now the subject of a international human-trafficking investigation involving its branch churches in Brazil.
An international investigation has picked up speed into whether a controversial Rutherford County church operated a human-trafficking pipeline with its South American congregations, U.S. Attorney Jill Rose says.

Word of Faith Fellowship in Spindale has been the target of government probes in the past over whether it has mistreated children in its care or subjected its members to beatings and other abuse to expel sins, including "homosexual demons."

But Rose says an ongoing investigation into how the church treated immigrants from its two Brazilian missions has gained traction in both countries.

"We and our Brazilian counterparts are making great progress in this case," she told the Observer. Rose declined to elaborate, saying she can't discuss an ongoing investigation.

President Trump's approval numbers may be under water, but he's significantly more popular than House Speaker Paul Ryan or House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

A new poll by The Economist finds Trump with a 39 percent "favorable" rating, with 23 percent holding a "very favorable" view of the president, and 16 percent "somewhat favorable."

Forty-five percent say they have a "very unfavorable" view of Trump.

Tax credits received by illegal immigrants and wage write-offs U.S companies claim in their illegal employment costs the Treasury $296 billion over 10 years, according to a new report that is urging Congress to crackdown on the loopholes.

Annually, according to the Center for Immigration Studies, the lost taxes bill is about $30 billion, enough to fund the average middle income tax cut the Trump administration is considering, about $300.

That comes on top of wage losses to legal workers of $118 billion when companies illegally hire undocumented aliens, said CIS.

'Killer clowns' are feared to be making a comeback after police issued guidance saying they were anticipating sightings over the next few months.

A spate of incidents were reported in Britain last year with several sightings also recorded across the pond in America.

The Pennsylvania State Police department issued a community awareness bulletin earlier this week saying they expected sightings as soon as this month.

The notice was issued in anticipation of the film It being released in the USA on September 9 which tells the story of an evil demon who takes the shape of a clown.

Nine men have been thrown off a Ryanair flight for allegedly shouting "Allahu Akbar" and claiming to carry bombs, which they later said was a "joke."

The group was removed from the Madrid-bound flight before it took off from Zaventem Airport, Brussels early Saturday.

The airport was targeted by suicide bombers in the Brussels attacks on March 22, 2016, in which 32 people were killed and over 300 injured

Following the disruptive passengers' removal, the Boeing 737-800 was briefly evacuated and searched before departing with a two-hour delay around 9:15am local time.

Spokesperson for the Belgian federal police, Peter De Waele, confirmed the incident to RT.com, and said one man was arrested.

Anxiety grips illegal youths - express physical and emotional manifestations of stress

The Trump administration has said it still has not decided the program's fate.
As President Trump nears a decision on keeping or killing former President Obama's deportation deferral for some 800,000 illegal "youths," studies are emerging showing that the population is far less educated than the media is reporting and stressed out over their undocumented status.

A leading expert, Harvard University's Roberto G. Gonzales, reveals that once the so-called "dreamers" grow into their 20s, anxiety becomes an issue.

In a report for the American Psychological Association and in a recently released book titled Lives in Limbo, he wrote, "in their 20s, many undocumented young adults began to express physical and emotional manifestations of stress - chronic headaches, toothaches, ulcers, trouble sleeping, eating problems and suicidal ideation."

Documents show connection between organizers of Berkeley riot and pro-pedophilia group, NAMBLA

Comment: The following article makes reference to the riot occurring in Berkeley last spring.

The left-wing activists behind the anti-conservative riots at Berkeley have ties to one of the nation's most prominent pro-pedophilia organizations.

The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights, and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary - more commonly referred to as By Any Means Necessary or BAMN - is one of the militant leftist groups waging a campaign against conservatives and Trump supporters in Berkeley. The group's planned aggressive demonstrations against conservative commentator Ann Coulter and the students coming to hear her talk led to the cancellation of Coulter's speech this week due to safety concerns.

BAMN's parent organization worked directly with the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) in the years just before it founded BAMN, according to NAMBLA documents reviewed by The Daily Caller. In addition, a member of that parent organization said to have founded BAMN is an admitted member of NAMBLA, which she has described as the victim of a "witch-hunt."

Comment: So, under cover of 'anti-fascism' and 'anti-discrimination' we have some of the core movers and shakers of the radical left movement actually advocating for the immoral and despicable abuse of children.
