Close Clinton friend claims her warnings to top-level Democrats about Weinstein fell on deaf ears

Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, the creator of the iconic 90s sitcom Designing Women and a close friend for decades of Bill and Hillary Clinton, admits that she not only knew of producer Harvey Weinstein's predations, but that she warned "top-level" Democrats about him.

Buried deep within a Hollywood Reporter guest column, Bloodworth-Thomason drops this bombshell (with a deflecting shot at Fox News): "I confess to having had no problem warning at least three top-level Democratic operatives against allowing Harvey Weinstein to host political fundraisers. A warning that evidently (and to the glee of Fox News) fell on deaf ears."

She also says she was a member of "a 'Let's Bring Harvey Weinstein Down' lunch club" and appears to express some disbelief towards those who, "despite knowing him for decades," now "announce they had no idea what was going on."

To this, she writes, "OK. Whatever."

If Bloodworth-Thomason knew about Weinstein's alleged predations and warned top-level Democrats, how difficult is it to add two and two to come up with the Clintons and the Democrat Party knew?

Comment: British actor, Robert Lindsay has claimed that after confronting Weinstein to stop his unwanted advances to co-star Molly Ringwald, he was was booted off the Oscar-winning film Shakespeare In Love and blacklisted, thus ending his film career. The actor also said Weinstein "owned everyone" when he was working on a movie: "#HarveyWeinstein represented everything I came to hate about movies if he owned a movie he owned everyone in it."

On Sunday over 200 players from the US National Football League (NFL) sat, kneeled or raised their fists in footstep of Colin Rand Kaepernick, former NFL quarterback of San Francisco 49ers, to protest American racism against Blacks, Muslims and other non-White minorities.

Shahid Khan, 67, the Pakistani-born Jacksonville Jaguars owner was the only owner of 32 NFL teams who joined the his team members in not standing during the national anthem. His action re-ignited Zionist Islamophobia against Shahid Khan who is not even an observant Muslim. He is married to Ann Carlson, a practicing Christian.

"Our team and the National Football League reflects our nation, with diversity coming in many forms - race, faith, our views and our goals. We have a lot of work to do and we can do it, but the comments made by the president make it harder. That's why it was important for us, and personally for me, to show the world that even if we may differ at times, we can and should be united in the effort to become better as people and a nation," Khan said in a statement.

A College Republicans meeting at the University of California, Santa Cruz was taken over by protesters screaming that the group's existence is a threat to the safety of students.

Shortly after the CR meeting convened, one student entered the ground floor room of McHenry Library to ask attendees which group was assembling. After being informed that the meeting was a gathering of College Republicans, the student returned about 15-20 minutes later with company.

One of the ringleaders of the protest was student activist Haik Adamian, who posted an announcement in the official UCSC Student Facebook group calling on students to deny the CR group its First Amendment rights.

For many of Inverness's universal credit guinea pigs, the past year has been exceptionally stressful. The many glitches of a malfunctioning scheme have already caused widespread misery in this city, which has been trialling various forms of universal credit since 2013. The problems unfolding here offer a taste of what is to come when the system goes nationwide.

The escalating difficulties experienced by Mhairi Thomson, a 35-year-old care worker who faced eviction from her home of 16 years, are typical. She claimed universal credit last September just before she got married; her fiance was moving into the house she shared with her 15-year-old daughter - forcing a reassessment of her benefit eligibility and shifting her on to the new system.

For reasons that remain unclear, the benefit was not paid for five months, leaving her unable to pay her rent, struggling to buy food for her family and often without £2.50 dinner money to give her daughter, who was studying for her exams. Crucially, with no money to pay her phone bill she lost access to her landline and her internet connection, which left her unable to query the absence of payments because the benefit is designed to claimed online. Without her landline, she had to use her mobile to call the helpline at considerable cost, because delays on the line ate up all the free minutes on her pay-as-you-go mobile package, pushing her on to a 30p-a-minute rate.

The U.S. military is a socialist paradise:
Service members and their families live for free on base. People living off base are given a stipend to cover their housing costs. They shop in commissaries and post exchanges where prices for food and basic goods are considerably lower than at civilian stores. Troops and their families count on high-quality education and responsive universal health care. They expect to be safe at home, as bases, on average, have less violence than American cities of comparable size. And residents enjoy a wide range of amenities-not just restaurants and movie theaters but fishing ponds, camp sites, and golf courses built for their use.

Of course, some bases are better than others. But even the most austere provides a comprehensive network of social welfare provisions and a safety net that does not differentiate between a junior employee and an executive.
For those who stay on, the military provides a generous retirement pay.

"But life in the military is dangerous!"

Not so.

Swedish journalist launches perverted 'sex education' series for immigrants

A Swedish journalist is launching a new series of sex education books, which he says are aiming to answer key questions posed by newly arrived migrants about how to meet people, how to flirt, and how to have sex.

Aiming to reach as many people as possible, the explicitly illustrated book Me and You will be published in three editions. As well as Swedish, there will also be an Arabic language version "especially for those who are new to Sweden".

The books follow a previous title by the author, the Simple Sex Book for children (pictured above).

Schools have gone from institutions of elementary and secondary learning to... institutions. And soon, as this trend continues unabated by a realistic crisis response, we will have a return to institutionalization of Americans. We are brain injuring kids at a breakneck speed. Not just autism - mental illness, crippling anxiety, depression. Parents haven't forgotten how to raise kids. Teachers haven't forgotten how to teach. The RAW MATERIAL - the kids - are different. Institutions are coming. Mark my words. Pharma and pediatricians are to blame first, I think. Then the food industry. Stress, mental illness, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression-they're plaguing our children at ever-increasing levels. Schools are making a major effort to address the situation. I have seen literally HUNDREDS of stories from everywhere in the English speaking world in the last couple of months. Educators from pre-school to universities are talking about the emotional difficulties our children have to deal with. Schools are partnering with mental health clinics and hiring additional counselors, adding "calming rooms," and holding workshops so teachers can understand that the student of the 21st century is a very vulnerable individual.

Teachers are struggling to deal with many students with serious behavior problems. There is strong criticism over the actions of schools where they physically restrain out-of-control students or lock them in seclusion rooms. In Britain, there have been huge increases in the number of students being permanently excluded because of assaults on other children and on teachers, even among preschool students.

One of Ireland's most notorious female killers has been found dead, the Irish Sun can reveal.

Evil Tanya Lambe, 40, was jailed for eight years in 2005 for beating innocent man Anthony Jordan to death with a hockey stick in 2003.

We can also reveal how Lambe was branded as "highly dangerous" at the time of her death.

And the killer, who had 62 previous convictions, was also linked to five other brutal assaults during her life of crime but never charged.

A source said: "Lambe was without question one of Ireland's most dangerous women. She was vicious and it's a miracle she didn't claim further lives.

"She didn't care who she targeted and every time she went out she was armed.

Belligerent cop loses it after being called out for harassing park-goers

Dramatic footage, taken Tuesday from Chicano Park in San Diego, shows what happens when a police officer is called out for driving his motorcycle into a park to harass citizens.

According to John Vazquez, the person who took the video, there have been reports of San Diego motorcycle cops parking in Chicano Park, racially profiling people and needlessly harassing them.

Vazquez, who reportedly sits on the board that runs the park, began filming when citizens approached officer Flores for violating an agreement not to ride into the park. Instead of de-escalating the situation, Flores became belligerent, puffed out his chest and appeared to want a fight. "I don't back up!" he barks as he attempted to intimidate the citizens.

When the man fails to be intimidated, Flores assaults him by shoving him backward and then pulls out his taser. Nobody is armed except for Flores and his partner and the only person escalating the situation is Flores.
