Russia's hypersonic dominance results in hundreds of NATO casualties in Ukraine

Kinzhal missiles russia jet
After being released, Kinzhal missile is capable of flying at hypersonic speeds while maneuvering.
As the entire US-led political West continues to lag decades behind Russia in hypersonic weapons, it keeps using various coping mechanisms to "explain" the gap. This ranges from rather pathetic claims that Moscow "stole American hypersonic technologies" (they must've all been stored on a single hard drive that was snatched by the SVR over 40 years ago and the US hasn't recovered ever since) to the laughable "need for perfectionism in the minds of American engineers". And while Washington DC is "perfecting" technologies it doesn't have (remember, because the evil Russians stole them), the Kremlin is putting its very real hypersonic weapons to good use. Continuing months of unprecedented kill streaks with its long-range strike systems, Russia just obliterated hundreds of NATO personnel in Ukraine, forcing the world's most vile racketeering cartel to send dozens of aircraft to Poland and Romania.

These are used to collect the casualties and send them off to their home countries. Numerous reports indicate there are hundreds of dead and wounded. The NATO personnel were stationed in Poltava and Lvov. The Neo-Nazi junta tried hiding and downplaying these losses, insisting that "50 people were killed" and that a "neighboring hospital was also struck". Citing local sources, the New York Times reported that the "missiles struck with an unforgiving quickness: The Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported that the gap between the sounding of warning sirens and the strike was so short that many people were killed on their way to shelter". Interestingly, the label "people" is often used to conceal the fact that these were NATO personnel. It's also unclear where the Kiev regime's air defenses were, otherwise fabled for their "50,000% interception rates" of Russian missiles, drones and other long-range precision strike weapons.

SOTT Focus: The Churchill Meltdown and Its Lessons

Why conservatards have lost the plot

History is the key towards liberation.

The truth of this statement becomes apparent when you consider that everything about our earthy existence is a product of the past. And I don't mean this in the sense of a strictly materialist idea of cause and effect, or deterministic billiard-ballism. Our very minds, the thoughts we have, our morality, our motivations, have a history: they came about through a dialectical process of actions, events, reactions and more events, filtered through the nebulous but very real wider consciousness of our group, our civilization, and humanity at large.

The wider group-consciousness has itself a history, a life of its own: it is engaged in all kinds of feedback loops, acting upon our decisions and the degree of our free will, creating our world as it churns along. This wider consciousness is also influenced by us — our daily decisions large and small and our willingness to push through its limitations, to suffer through heroic battles aimed at expanding and adjusting it to better reflect wider reality. Once changed to better fit Reality, wider consciousness will then have an effect on other individuals, making it easier for them to affirm and further expand its new form. Hence the butterfly effect is somewhat independent of the material world: an act of decisive will with no witnesses around can change the world.1

BRICS, the rise of China and how the Hegemon buried the concept of 'security'

BRICS Meeting
© Public Domain
The first meeting of security experts/National Security Advisors under the expanded BRICS+ format at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg unveiled quite a few nuggets.

Let's start with China. Foreign Minister Wang Yi proposed four BRICS-centric security initiatives. Essentially, BRICS+ - and beyond, considering further expansion - should aim at peaceful coexistence; independence; autonomy; and true multilateralism, which implies a rejection of Exceptionalism.

At the BRICS table, the overarching theme was how member-nations should support each other despite so many challenges - mostly unleashed by you-know-who.

On India, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu, meeting with Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, stressed the strength of the alliance, "confidently standing the test of time".

The larger context was in fact offered in parallel, in Switzerland, at the Geneva Center for Security Policy, by the always delightful Foreign Minister S.Jaishankar:
There was a club called G7, but you wouldn't let anybody else into it - so we said, we'd go and form our own club (...) It's actually a very interesting group because if you look at it, typically any club or any group has either a geographical contiguity or some common historical experience or a very strong economic connect." But with BRICS what stands out is "big countries rising in the international system.
Cut to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, stressing how Russia and Brazil "have similar approaches to key international issues", emphasizing how Moscow cherishes the current "bilateral mutual understanding and interaction, including in the light of the simultaneous presidencies of BRICS and G20 this year."

In 2024, Russia presides over BRICS while Brazil presides over the G20.

Opposed to Netanyahu, two-thirds of Israelis want to negotiate with Hamas

Bar-David
© UnknownArnon Bar-David, Histadrut general secretary, organized the general strike to force the Netanyahu government to negotiate with Hamas.
The recent general strike in Israel is not just a demonstration against the rhetoric that we shouldn't negotiate with terrorists and that the IDF will release the hostages held in Gaza. It marks the beginning of a realization that Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu is not defending Jews. While Jewish Israelis are not yet aware of the ethnic cleansing in Gaza, they are becoming aware of the anti-Arab pogroms in the West Bank. Gradually, they are beginning to admit that their enemies are not their neighbours, but are among them. These are the revisionist Zionists.

Israeli public opinion is changing. After having turned away from Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, ineffective during the October 7 attack, some Israelis rallied behind him again after the Iranian retaliation on April 11. About a third of them now support him. They are both settlers, illegally implanted in the West Bank, and citizens who perceive Arabs, Turks and Persians as enemies.

The remaining two-thirds are slowly opening their eyes. The execution of six hostages by Hamas on August 31, just as the "Defense Forces" (IDF) were about to free them, showed them that, far from allowing their release, the presence of soldiers in Gaza condemns them to death. They now see the Prime Minister's obstinacy in invading not only Gaza, but also the West Bank, to the detriment of the hostages' lives, as proof that he serves the interests of the settlers alone, and not those of all Israeli Jews. Yet they fail to see the suffering of Israeli Arabs, the pogroms in the West Bank and the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

Comment: Truth? Israelis are the last to know...just like many Americans. Must keep the sheep in the pen.

Russian security chief identifies West's key 'mistake

The US and its allies missed an opportunity to neutralize Russia. The US could have turned Russia into a regular, docile client state by dragging it into the EU in the 1990s, Sergey Shoigu has claimed.

In an interview with the Rossiya-24 channel aired on Tuesday, the former defense minister recalled how in 1994 then-President Boris Yeltsin told his US counterpart, Bill Clinton, that "Russia has to be the first country to join NATO."

Shoigu said:
"If at that point they fast-tracked us into the European Union... I believe we would have lost our sovereignty by today. The resources and natural deposits that our country has would have been largely redistributed and snatched."

Nuland admits US discouraged Ukraine from signing Russia peace deal at moment it was 'really close'

nuland

There's never a dull moment when former high-ranking State Department official Victoria Nuland goes on the record for a new tell-all. She's certainly never shy about broadcasting her role in anti-Moscow covert maneuvering and machinations.

Indeed, many already know her as Victoria-'Fuck the EU'-Nuland and for essentially running foreign policy in Europe stretching back through the Obama years as then Assistant Secretary of State for Europe, where many of the problems which sparked the disastrous and tragic Russia-Ukraine war were first set in motion.

Exiled Russian journalist Mikhail Zygar recently sat down with her for a new interview published to YouTube earlier this month. The most interesting part of the interview was when he pressed Nuland on widespread reports saying that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson actively encouraged President Zelensky to back out of a potential peace deal with Moscow early after the Feb.2022 Russian invasion. There was a possible chance to end the war and perhaps avoid hundreds of thousands of deaths. But the West apparently convinced Zelensky to fight it out.

What you don't know might surprise you

Kamalapurple

By now, you've probably heard enough debate about The Debate, so I'll spotlight only a few points everybody else left out. You might know this, but Hollywood plays a larger role in the Kamala campaign than just stuffing the endorsements of celebs such as George Clooney, Taylor Swift, and John Legend into the corporate media tank. In fact, much bigger playas, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg, are producing and directing things backstage at Kamala Central, so what gets in the Kamala news plays as a Spielberg movie like The Color Purple. Just so you know. . . .

Ms. Harris had the advantage Tuesday night of being able to speak in declarative sentences, while her opponent, Mr. Trump, is given, shall we say, to a more choppy, telegraphic speech delivery. It lent Ms. Harris the appearance of being intelligent. The catch was, everything she said was disingenuous or an outright lie.

One whopper — more significant than you might realize — was her stating that she was in the US Capitol building when the J-6 riot happened. You'd think she'd want to be on-hand there, seeing as a joint session of Congress was about to certify her as the first female veep in US history — a chance to be joyful and shine! But, in fact, at 11:15a.m. on 1/6/21 — hours before protesters breached the Capitol — Kamala Harris was spirited away a few blocks to 430 South Capitol Street, the headquarters building of the Democratic National Committee, where a pipe bomb (or facsimile of one) had been planted hours before by some DC law enforcement person (Capitol police? FBI? DC Metro Police? A paid "contractor" to the preceding outfits?). The exact identity of the culprit has never been released by the FBI, though they have all the perp's cell phone data and closed circuit TV footage.

Best of the Web: Sweden to pay migrants $34,000 to go back to home country

Comment: So, 7 years later, was Trump right when he said "did you see what happened in Sweden last night?"...

The Scandinavian nation seen for decades as a ‘humanitarian superpower’ is struggling to integrate many of its newcomers
Sweden plans to boost payments to up to US$34,000 to immigrants who leave the nation that has been a haven for the war-weary and persecuted, the right-wing government said Thursday.

The Scandinavian country was for decades seen as a "humanitarian superpower", but over the years has struggled to integrate many of its newcomers.

Comment: It's pretty clear that some migrants came primarily for the financial benefits and do not intend to integrate: Migrant gang violence spreads to Sweden's middle class suburbs, 140 bomb explosions recorded

Immigrants who voluntarily return to their countries of origin from 2026 would be eligible to receive up to 350,000 Swedish kronor (US$34,000), the government, which is propped up by the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats, told a press conference.

Comment: Given that a lifelong migrant as a resident will cost many times more than $34,000; taking into account the inordinate harm that weaponised mass migration has on the native inhabitants, its culture, and society as a whole; as well as the fact that, actually, the Western establishment is, in part, responsible for the instability on much of the planet, deporting migrants and paying them a sum for their troubles seems to be a cost effective solution:

'Blinken, get lost! We don't want to die for your war!' Polish MP calls out US Sec of State during visit to Warsaw

grzegorz brown
Polish MEP and leader of the Confederation Party Grzegorz Brown
Polish MEP and leader of the Confederation Party Grzegorz Brown, during the visit of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Warsaw, called on the US Secretary of State to go home as soon as possible.

"Blinken, go home as soon as possible. Disappear! We don't want you here. We don't want the Poles to pay and die for your the war " said the Polish MEP, addressing the head of the American foreign policy department.

In turn, French politician Florian Philippot, commenting on Brown's statement, admired the bold rhetoric of the Polish MP. In his account on one of the Western social networks, Philippot wrote that the French are in complete solidarity with the Poles on this issue and do not want them to pay and die for wars waged in the interests of the United States.

Comment: It seems the majority of Europeans no longer support the West's war in Ukraine, and this is partly evident in the political parties they voted for in the raft of elections that are occurring across the continent this year; yet their governments continue to empty their military stocks, and funnel tens of billions of euros, in support of the US-Kiev-junta's war on Russia:

Best of the Web: The West is ensuring Kiev's demise on purpose

By allowing Ukraine to hit Russia with their missiles, NATO members are enacting a cruel sacrifice to wind down the war

The predictable and predicted is happening again. Despite the coyly teasing dance of seven veils performed by, mostly, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, to those who ignored the noise and focused on the signal, it's always been clear that Washington and London would decide to - officially and openly - allow and help Ukraine to use their missiles for attacks even deeper into Russia than before. And of course, it's been obvious to Moscow as well, as Dmitry Peskov, President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, made clear as early as September 11.

That the West is escalating is no surprise. It has a well-established pattern of continually ratcheting-up the stakes in its proxy war - including (but not restricted to) the supply of intelligence, mercenaries, 'advisors', various tanks, armored vehicles, missile systems, and recently F-16 fighter planes. Now it's time to fully unleash Storm Shadow and then, if perhaps a little later, long-range ATACMS missiles. What we can safely disregard is the pretext of Iran allegedly shipping short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. It's either simply untrue or irrelevant.

Tehran denies the American claim. Those ready to scoff at that should recall that the West has a rock-solid record of making things up, from Iraqi WMDs to Israel's legally strictly non-existing 'right' to defend itself against those it occupies and genocides. And even if Iran has handed over missiles - as, by the way, it would have an actual right to do as a sovereign state - that is not why this specific Western escalation is occurring now.
