The paper also calls out Europeans 'in minority governments' with unrealistic expectations for the war

The New US National Security Strategy that has just been released, in what President Donald J, Trump calls an effort to 'build upon the extraordinary strides we have made'.
"This document is a roadmap to ensure that America remains the greatest and most successful nation in human history, and the home of freedom on earth."
The document deals with Security Strategy principles and its application all over the world.
"President Trump's foreign policy is pragmatic without being 'pragmatist', realistic without being 'realist', principled without being 'idealistic', muscular without being 'hawkish', and restrained without being 'dovish'. It is not grounded in traditional, political ideology. It is motivated above all by what works for America — or, in two words, 'America First'."

The Irish government has approved an extra €125m (£110m) in support for Ukraine in a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

It comes after the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland for an official one-day visit.

Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Micheál Martin made the announcement at a press conference with Zelensky.

Martin said it was an honour to welcome Zelensky and the first lady Olena Zelenska on the first official visit of a Ukrainian president to Ireland.

They left later on Tuesday night where Tánaiste (Irish deputy prime minister) Simon Harris said it had been an "honour to have them both in Ireland".

Martin said Ireland would continue to support Ukraine for as long as was needed.

He said the visit came at a "critical moment" for Ukraine and for Europe and underlined the value he placed in "the friendship between Ukraine and Ireland".

"Our is a relationship built on shared values, freedom, democracy, the right of all states to determine their own future - values the people of Ukraine have sacrificed to defend and protect," he added.

Martin said Ireland was "open to contributing to peacekeeping and peace monitoring in Ukraine".

He said Ireland would also be willing to help in post-war construction in Ukraine.

West turning OSCE into tool of 'hybrid war' - Moscow

Grushko

Western nations are turning the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) into an instrument of "hybrid war and coercion," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko has said.

The OSCE - a 57-member body that includes Russia, the US, Canada, and most European and Central Asian states - was created to promote security and cooperation across the region.

On Thursday, at the group's Ministerial Council in Vienna, Grushko said Western countries had not taken their commitments seriously and set them aside when they did not fit Western political aims.

According to Grushko:
"States pursuing sovereign policies are subjected to threats, blackmail and the harshest pressure using the lowest methods. The freedom of choice offered by the West was just 'a one-way ticket toward total subordination'."
Grushko also criticized what he called the "total 'Ukrainization' of the agenda," saying it had narrowed the organization's work and reduced cooperation to "tiny islands" of engagement. Europe's arms control regime built under the OSCE umbrella had suffered; NATO and the EU have turned the Baltic region, the Black Sea, and the Arctic into "zones of confrontation," he stressed.

Theft of Russian wealth is tying the entire EU bloc to a sinking ship, or worse, all-out war

Crazy Bitch
© Strategic Culture Foundation
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is pushing ahead with a reckless plan to confiscate over €200 billion in Russia's sovereign wealth for the purpose of propping up the corrupt NeoNazi Kiev regime and prolonging a futile proxy war.

It is hard to imagine a more crass course of action. Yet the so-called European leadership around Von der Leyen is zealously steering towards disaster. At least the hapless captain of the Titanic tried to avert collision with an iceberg. The Euro captains are heading full steam ahead.

Von der Leyen's proposed scheme is fancifully called a "reparations loan" and pretends, through legalistic rhetoric, not to be a confiscation of Russia's assets. But it boils down to theft. Theft to continue the bloodiest war in Europe since the Second World War, which marked the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Von der Leyen, a former German defense minister, is supported by other obsessively Russophobic Euro elites. The EU's foreign minister Kaja Kallas, a former Estonian prime minister, asserts that the seizure of Russian money and pumping it into the Kiev regime is aimed at forcing Moscow to negotiate a peaceful end to the nearly four-year conflict. Such twisted logic is an Orwellian distortion of reality.

Belgium and other European states are extremely wary of the unprecedented and audacious move. Belgium, which holds the majority of frozen Russian wealth - some €185 bn - in its Euroclear depository, is anxious that it will be financially ruined if Moscow holds the EU liable for illegal seizure of wealth. Other EU members, like Hungary and Slovakia, are concerned that the Russophobic leadership is undermining any diplomatic initiatives by the U.S. Trump administration and the Kremlin to negotiate a peace settlement.

Best of the Web: EU ignores not-so-subtle warning shot from VP Vance, fines X $140M for ignoring censorship orders

Vice President JD Vance issued a not-so-subtle warning to European leaders for "attacking American companies over garbage."

Taking to X, Vance responded to reports that the European Commission may finalize a formal probe into the social media platform owned by Elon Musk as early as Friday, after the EU's digital rules enforcement began investigating X following Musk's purchase of the company.

"Rumors swirling that the EU commission will fine X hundreds of millions of dollars for not engaging in censorship. The EU should be supporting free speech not attacking American companies over garbage," Vance wrote.

Comment: Vance has been making this point for a while: Apparently the EU is not above bribery:

What lies behind the peace negotiations for Ukraine?

witkoff and kushner

To satisfy his MAGA movement, President Donald Trump must restore the economic power of his deeply indebted country while appeasing the Atlanticist wing of his donors. Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have already reached agreements with President Vladimir Putin. The negotiations chaired by Mario Rubio are merely a diversion.
We don't know what was said in Washington, but we can assume that the United States took a firm stance against Ukraine, even if it didn't want to risk undermining Atlantic solidarity. Thierry Meyssan presents here what transpired during this tumultuous week:

To understand the week of peace negotiations in Ukraine, it is essential to first dispel the false information that has been disseminated by the mainstream press: contrary to what they have suggested, the Europeans were never allowed to join the Geneva talks.

It is also worth remembering what I explained last week [1]: European governments have no interest in peace, they even fear it: it would undoubtedly cause their own downfall.

It is therefore no coincidence that the German, British, and French press claimed that the Geneva peace plan was a European document. They asserted this so strongly that we ourselves repeated this falsehood before correcting it.

With that established, let's resume the sequence of events:

When the peace plan, drawn up by the United States and Russia in Florida, became known [2], the subservient commentators described it as "outrageously pro-Russian".

Cold case heats up

"[The current FBI] was competent at cracking the case; [Christopher Wray's] was competent at corruption and obstructing it."
— Mike Benz
Do you have any idea what tapestry of corruption and crime is attached to the little thread of the J6 / DNC / RNC pipe bomber suspect arrested yesterday by the FBI? Consider this: suspect Brian Cole, Jr., is alive and probably talking, unlike, say, Jeffrey Epstein and Thomas Matthew Crooks in other matters of public interest. Let's hope he is under FBI protection in custody, lest something. . . say. . . happen to him.

As of early this morning, the country knows next to nothing else about Cole and what he was up to the night of Jan. 5, 2021. The FBI has not even said how he is employed. But his photo shows a young man dressed for office work. . . he lives in a nice house in the DC suburbs of Virginia. . .and you might infer that he is, possibly, a federal government worker. Oh, and the FBI was unable to catch him through the whole four years of "Joe Biden?"

You can suppose at this point that the story of that four-year botched investigation will be a way bigger thing than the pipe bomber's little prank itself. It probably leads to the story of wholesale corruption in Christopher Wray's FBI, and even more consequentially, to the realization that the so-called J6, 2021 "insurrection" was a government op from top to bottom, aimed at eradicating Trump and Trumpism.

Comment: If it was a movie, no one would believe it.

The Epstein-Israel link nobody wants you to take seriously

While trafficking young girls, he was also part of an effort to export military-grade systems to governments around the world.

When I first moved to New York, I walked into my new dentist's office and genuinely wondered whether I'd accidentally wandered into a Victoria's Secret audition.

The waiting room was full of stunning young women. Eventually I learned the dentist shared space with a modeling agency. You couldn't tell who was getting veneers and who was getting a contract until you were halfway down the hallway.

Jeffrey Epstein's life operated on the same architectural principle: two businesses shoved into one building, one involving underaged girls, the other involving powerful political figures, including some tied to the Israeli government. Not exactly whitening trays and catwalks, but equally disorienting.

Epstein's whole operation was like a perverted crossover episode of "Law & Order" meets "House of Cards". The salacious half got all the airtime, but the geopolitical part seems to have largely ended up on the cutting room floor.

Is Trump hanging Europe out to dry on Ukraine?

TrumpPutin and others

The Islander writes... As it became known following five hours of tense negotiations with the American delegation inside the Kremlin's stone walls, one issue, unsurprisingly remained a gaping wound, the territorial question.
And Washington, true to form, came with its recycled 28 point plan.

Dusting off pages from the 28-point "Trump Plan," the Americans tried to secure their much needed offramp by proposing what they thought they could sell Putin on, that Russia would hand over the Kinburn Spit to Ukraine and the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) to international management, we know what that means. In the U.S. version of this fantasy, the ZNPP would first be placed under "international administration" — which in real terms means Western technocrats, backed by NATO boots in suits, and then quietly gifted to Kiev.

But it gets worse.

Also proposed was a "territorial swap." The details remain shadowy, but the core was clear: Russian troops would "immediately" withdraw from the regions of Kharkov, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Nikolaev (including the Kinburn Peninsula), while Ukraine might, at some later unspecified date, consider exiting the Donbass.

In plain English: Russia gives up what it won. Ukraine regains some of what it lost.

They tried, with straight faces, to convince President Putin to accept it. But this is not December of 2021, and Russia is not in the mood. For Moscow, the era of "goodwill gestures" is over.

Comment: Power to the pen...would war and the ending of it be that simplistic.
