Iranian officials remain steadfast, however, denying dodgy Washington outlet Axios' repeated claims that a peace deal is 'ready any day now', and stressing that it's prepared to ride out Trump's attempt at economic siege in the belief that the American president will blink first when actual oil shortages kick in, globally, sometime between now and September.
The rest of us are left with little choice but to watch Trump learn the hard way that there are some things he cannot 'will' into existence...

However, even if he did know the truth about the real situation, he'd still be up against all those forces lined up against him to make sure he does what they want, and screws things up even more.
His situation reveals the depth of the corruption and weakness of, not just the US' government, but of its supposed domination of the West.
Now that the domination is weakening, it has effectively paralysed all the other Western countries into inaction. Those that openly refuse, get threatened [like Spain], those that provide support are so ineffective as to make little to no difference.
He's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.
And now all the Jim Sixpacks and Jane Soccermoms have a neck on which to tie the noose. It will be easy to convince them that everything would have been fine if it wasn't for this unhinged bastard. And it'll be, "Gosh darn it! How could we have known?" or alternatively, "I knew he was an incompetent jerk all along." And the pundits will be morosely shaking their heads, saying, "Alas! It can't be fixed," and providing their technocratic solutions to keep us all "safe," and to make life "convenient" as we navigate these challenging times. And few people will realize that the outcome was the plan all along, because they've never read any history. If they had, they'd realize that a similar problem - reaction - solution script is always followed during a Great Reset.
