Preparing for war?The United States is clearly making preparations for war with Iran. It's goal would be regime change, no doubt trying to turn back the clock to the days of the Shah. The Israeli attack, which began on June 13, did not cripple the Islamic Republic's nuclear program or its defensive and offensive capabilities. Nor did it destabilize the government which now has more support than before.
Donald Trump doesn't read. So he doesn't know that.
As I have mentioned elsewhere, some 30 KC-135R Stratotankers and KC-46A Pegasus tankers have been deployed to Europe under the pretext of participating in a NATO exercise, apparently readying themselves for deployment to West Asia - if needed.
"If needed" is the key phrase.
They won't be.
Trump has going back and forth. Recently, mostly "forth".
Forth, forth, forth....soon enough back.
Trump huffs and puffsTrump is an ignorant blowhard.
On June 17, he said the US knows where Khamenei is "hiding" and demanded "unconditional surrender" from Tehran, as though the US was already at war.
Yes, B52 bombers have been deployed to Diego Garcia, as well as B2s. It certainly
looks like war.
Later on the 17th the U.S. Air Force "Doomsday Plane," a wartime command and control aircraft for the president, flew over the U.S. on an unusual mission. Oh my! Good stuff for the media which no doubt uses this stuff to sell mouthwash, something sorely needed by news anchors on CNN.
June 18 , US media were reporting deployment of F16s, F22s, and F35s to the Middle East.
The very next day June 18, Reuters reported that the U.S. had deployed additional F-16s, F-22s and F-35 fighter jets to the Middle East and extended current warplane missions. Ummm... and where are they going to put all those jets. Not on Israeli bases which are getting pounded I hope.
Iran responded the same day by suggesting talks with the US. Trump rebuffed it - "too late", he said. He would settle for nothing buy "total victory".
Ah...a tough guy.
Satellite images that surfaced online on that day revealed that all U.S. Navy vessels had departed the key Manama port in Bahrain and that the U.S. Air Force Al Udeid Air Base near Doha in Qatar was also emptied. My friends in the Bahrain and Qatar didn't seem worried. More like, "good riddance".
The war hasn't started and retreating already?
Better late than never? Was it too late for Iran — or for Trump?
The US media reported "mass deployment of US assets close to Iran". They were referring to the USS Thomas Hudner and USS Sullivans destroyers in the Mediterranean, a rather
long way from Iran. The Media don't do geograpy.
The USS Carl Vinson carrier was already in the Arabian Sea trying to stay out of range of Houthi missiles.Trump repeated his demand for "unconditional surrender," and stated that the U.S. was looking for "total victory."
The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier is to replace the Carl Vinson, probably in a couple of weeks, and maybe joined in July by the Gerald Ford. The Houthis will be happy. Maybe they will get new toys from Iran.
Or will it be too late for any fun.
I mean, will there be anything
left of Tel Aviv by then? As of this writing there have been 15 strikes.
There is a Classic Trump "sound and fury signifying nothing". He is in that phase . Is this the end of Trump? Not MAGA — just Trump.
Why, why, why....Why do I think this - that Trump is doomed?
Because
his numbers are tanking. As I said before - how long before JD Vance has to take over?
He has lost key supporters, including Elon Musk, Chuck Carlson, and Steven Bannon - and soon probably Tulsi Gabbard. He has lost the American people - left and right — and also the billionaire class — who, if they are not in the defense industry, see the Donald as bad for business.

A new poll released Tuesday reveals just 16 percent of Americans want to get involved in the Israel-Iran war. This, despite
60% of Americans thinking Iran wants nuclear weapons!

Trump has, I am sure, lost the military too, who would face an enemy that could do serious damage. In its new wave of strikes on Israel, Iran has showed off some serious EW capabilities and new missiles that can penetrate Israel's advanced defense with large warheads.
OK...
Diego Garcia is pretty far alway so....Not!
Iran possesses a "sea base" warship, the Shahid Mahdavi, "a converted container ship from which missiles and drones can be launched." Iran has a history of using converted cargo vessels as "motherships,

The Shahed-136B has a range of 4000 km and Iran is (reportedly, according to the Israelis) upgrading some of its missiles to achieve similar reach. It's...LOL " rocket science".
In any case, the US has only 20 B2s in total. Each is worth $2.1 billion and even if Iran does
not strike Diego Garcia with a couple of hundred drones, it could almost certainly kill at least one B2 if it was attempting to drop a bunker buster deep inside Iran — not that a bunker buster would work anyway.
This could be a very expensive war. Take a look at public disapproval of Trump's handling of key issues. Most of them, except abortion, are about $$$.As for "Stealth"?B2s rely on Stealth....But didn't we already discuss why that is meaningless?
Didn't work for the Zionists.
As I wrote last time, Israel has not established air supremacy over Iran. Most of their aircraft attacks are just outside of Iranian airspace or a little inside - hit and run - but always using standoff weapons. It now appears that the Iranians are not using a lot of Russian S300 and S400s in combat.
They have them but they used them to upgrade their indigenously developed systems, taking advantage of a highly developed manufacturing base - the kind that Israel lacks.' What they have is very
good — or so the Russians say.
It is therefore likely that they have - as claimed-- downed up to a half dozen F35s. No evidence? That's because they were downed outside of Iranian airspace!American strike aircraft will suffer the same problems as the Israelis'.
So, no, this is a war that America will not fight. Or, if it does, it will be the end of Trump. Maybe be of the US, too. One can always hope.

It says: In addition: Ok. Is there anything to see there?
Israel oddly starts a war that it cannot ever win - nobody really sees the USA intervening (etc etc)
The bets are in that those weapons are due to pursue their route towards the war between Iran and Israel - but who knows? Are we, Europeans, about to wake up tomorrow in a huge Stalinian camp???
It's some random military-topic website and I wouldn't endorse it at all, for "credible info", in the very first place. It could be, but I don't want to hint other people at it as being a "good website" because I truly don't know and chances are always so thin in regard of this matter (of "COINTEL/or-not" websites) that I always remain prudent and wanted to tell it to you^^
However, when you find their presentations to the military, you see it in the light of weapons. DARPA created the internet not to serve the people but to monitor people and control information.
But what about the "container" idea the Anglo-Saxons recently used to attack Russian strategic bombers ?
The Iranians could modify it slightly, and convert yachts and fishing vessels to drone carriers. They are unsuspicious, and can get easily within 500 miles. And even with rudimentary training for military noobs, the probability to get them off are much higher than for automated drones from a system unattended for weeks or months ...
That ending is not very helpful to anyone. I don’t particularly care for our government but I do somewhat understand its function. There seems to be a segment of the population who seems to believe the collapse of the US would lead to some new era of hope and peace rather than death and destruction. If we’re lucky our fall would resemble that of the USSR. We’d lose some of our territory but retain our core without being conquered by an outside force eyeing our resources. Some people also seem to believe a collapse of one bad government would somehow forestall the rise of a far worse government to take its place. A collapse or fall would not be a romantic adventure, it would be a hell, especially considering the moral bankruptcy eating away at our country. Just try to imagine what just the hoodrats would do without authorities to keep them at bay?
