Gov. Tina Kotek has declared a state of emergency due to flooding and landslides in Southern Oregon.

The declaration was made due to the damage caused by ongoing storms that have impacted the state since Feb. 24.

Those storms have led to significant flooding and landslides across the state and resulted in at least one fatality, according to state officials.
