Trump ally Steve Bannon free after serving 4 months for contempt of Congress

Steve Bannon was released from a Connecticut federal prison early Tuesday after serving four months behind bars for failing to comply with a subpoena related to the Jan. 6 congressional committee.

"Steve Bannon is a Free Man," Natalie Winters, who co-hosts the former Trump advisor's "WarRoom" podcast, posted on X just after 6 a.m.

The federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Bannon, 70, had been released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., where he'd been since reporting on July 1.

He walked out with his daughter Maureen around 3:15 a.m., a representative for his podcast confirmed to The Post.

Bannon will return to host WarRoom at 10 a.m. on Tuesday before hosting a press conference at 3 p.m.

Bannon's release comes just one week before the 2024 election.

The longtime Trump ally was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress: one for refusing to testify to the Jan. 6 committee and a second for refusing to provide documents.

Although his sentencing occurred in October 2022, a US district judge postponed the jail term while Bannon appealed the decision.

A federal appeals court panel upheld Bannon's convictions in May.

Bannon will continue to appeal the guilty conviction despite already serving his sentence.

He declared himself a "political prisoner" when he began serving his sentence in July.

"I am proud of going to prison," he said then.

He also slammed Attorney General Merrick Garland and a "corrupt" Justice Department before turning himself in.

Bannon is facing additional criminal charges in New York state court, alleging he duped donors who gave money to build a wall along the US-Mexico border.

He will stand trial in December for his alleged involvement in a $15 million border wall fundraising scam.

Bannon has pleaded not guilty to money laundering, conspiracy, fraud and other charges.

His trial will begin Dec. 9.

Just don't try to have an interview with Julian Assange would be my advice once you escape the gates....lay low for awhile....just like Julian has.

But know this - you were imprisoned longer than fair - and those think they make the rules got some hard lessons coming....

He was imprisoned as part of the ongoing censorship routine that the globalist psychopaths have implemented.

In my view, the ramping up of censorship is an attempt to regain control of the narrative in preparation for a false flag or black swan event. Cyberpandemic? Dirty nuke explosion? Super weather or quake? "Terrorist" attack on the USA?

I'm looking at the top picture of Bannon in court, and he has three pens arranged almost 'militarily' on his shirt.

That he has been 'released' within a week of the (s)election is interesting and provocative. If there is going to be civil unrest in November then Mr. Bannon will certainly act as an efficient catalyst for such actions.

I cannot shake the feeling that all of this, the MAGA and the Kamal/Biden/Obama team are well choreographed dancers in a tragedy of such a vast scope that it is incomprehensible to anyone except its author(s).

Baybars - I don't think that is the case - but time will tell.

I do know this - when unjustly detained - a man desires freedom and to "push man too far" is to invite disaster.

Seems to me 90% chance or higher - Trump will win the election based on votes counted fair - what happens after that remains to be seen and time will tell.

Assuming Trump get in office proper, then it just depends upon whom he has around himself in the oval office, but things remain precarious - cause parasites presently control dc no doubt.

Unless I see video & other prima facie proof of said above narrative it didn’t happen as the MSM says it did or inferred it did.

The Steve Bannon I know of is a liar & couldn’t last 4 nights in Jail more less 4 months.

VooDoo6 - I can say this - I've been in a "jail" proper once and it sucked but I tried to make friends with the other inmates.

Other times I've been held against my will, but I made the best of it while I planned what I would do when I was free again!

I'll say this as well - one can be most creative with a crayon in jail.

Lastly - tis known to the family - I will never go back against my will ever again.

Over my dead body that will be.

So, naturally, I hope it don't happen, but if so - ain't going to be only my body perish.

Lastly, I reckon one has to spend some time on cold concrete to really understand this sentiment - and truly - over my dead body and all the dead bodies I will.....oh forget it....live and let live is my motto.
