The group Jewish Voice for Peace held the demonstration outside the New York senator's Third Ave. office near E. 49th St. about 9 a.m.
Approximately 40 people showed up holding signs and lambasting Schumer for keeping silent on the killings by Israeli forces during a month-long Palestinian protest in the Gaza Strip.

On Friday, four Palestinian protestors, including a teenage boy and a disabled man, were killed by Israeli snipers who fired from across a fence dividing Israel and the blockaded Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
On Thursday, Jewish Voice for Peace held a traditional Jewish mourning ceremony for those who have died in Gaza outside Schumer's office and blocked the entrance to the building, member Leo Grossman said.
"Someone must have heard that we were doing this and tipped off the cops," said Grossman, 24. "The cops were here when we got here."

Grossman said the cops "seemed pretty respectful," although they did jump in right when the mourning ceremony began.
"That was a little rude," he said. "We just wanted to make sure Sen. Schumer condemns the killings."
Schumer's office did not immediately return a call for comment.
