"The US-led coalition has started attacks on al-Bab and targeted the city's hospital which destroyed several sections," Kurdish sources said on Thursday.
"Almost 45 civilians were killed and wounded in the attack," they added.
The sources said that other vital infrastructures of the city, including the water and power departments, were also pounded by the coalition warplanes.
Earlier this month, the US air force bombed heavily two residential areas in the war-hit town of Manbij in Northeastern Aleppo, leaving 43 civilians dead and many more wounded.
The US warplanes, for the fourth time in their so-called anti-terrorism operations, targeted al-Haal market, al-Sina'ah district and the only bakery of the town, claiming lives of 23 civilians in al-Haal and 21 others in al-Sina'ah.
Telecommunication building of Manbij was also ruined in the US air attacks.
Also in July, over 25 civilians were killed and at least 100 more were wounded in US Air Force's attacks on an ISIL-held village near the town of Manbij.
The US coalition struck the densely populated village of Aghanndorh near Manbij, causing severe damage to a number of civilian sites, including several residential homes.
Many of the victims were children and elderly civilians.

Listening to PBS this morning and the talk about identifying an undeclared snoop on communications; a statement made about: " some things are out of bounds" and I wondered why this statement was not officially made when the hospital in Afghanistan was targeted.
