'No War With Syria' rallies happening this Saturday August 31, worldwide

The following notice has been posted all over the internet, please help to pass the word along.

Here's the plan of action to oppose the illegal and unconstitutional war with Syria:

We are launching a global rally on Saturday August 31st in every city and town in the world.

Here's how you get involved

Go to the FB search bar and search for 'No War With Syria Rally (your city)' example: 'No War With Syria Rally San Diego'

Join the event, invite ALL of your friends to join it as well, then get involved with the locals that are already in the event page to help them any way you can.

*If there is no event page made for your location yet, please make one.
Here's how:

-Simply click on your event tab from your FB homepage

-Click create an event

-Name the event 'No War With Syria Rally (your city)' example: No War With Syria Rally San Diego

-make sure you set the privacy to public so other people can find it when they search for it

-Pick a central and relevant location and start time for your area(please make it on Saturday August 31st)

-Invite ALL of your friends and encourage everyone else to invite their friends as well and do whatever else you can to let people know about the rally

-Try to get some volunteers together to make banners to do some canvassing on friday the night before your rally. Contact the local overpass light brigade or set one up yourself. Make signs.

-Pass out flyers in the days leading up to your rally, if you can't afford them, ask for some donations. Some local businesses may also be willing to help you out with printing

-Contact other activist groups in your area for help(occupy groups, anti-war groups, veterans for peace groups, code pink, civil liberty groups etc)

-contact local media and let them know about your rally. Focus on independent journalists in your area.

-Set up a hashtag for your march and use it on FB, Twitter, and Instagram

-The rest is up to your discretion to handle locally

The time to change the world and stop the war is now. Share this information with anyone and everyone you know, thousands of innocent lives depend on it

How can we make sure that the Feds or any other government agency will NOT infiltrate these rallies ? I'll answer my own question : "We don't.". In other words protest at your own risk. Do you really think that a few protests will stop the warmongers of the planet from going ahead with plans that they have been preparing for over a year ? FYI the issue was discussed in the UN security council and they came up with no decision, nothing, zip, null. The only way to stop guns from firing is with guns that they also fire and even the Russians and the Chinese won't do that no matter how much they support Syria. In short protest all you want but you can't stop military intervention. Also for the 1000th time as I have explained before the plan is to overthrow Assad and then with a "friendly" regime in place to start a war with Turkey which will eventually be cut in half and the western part will enter the EU. Clear ?

I've decided to attend the Los Angeles rally as a photojournalist.

Hopefully, everything will remain peaceful but I will be packing a stun gun and pepper spray, just in case.

I know that my most effective weapon will be my press pass, so please all; wish me luck.

NO A LA GUERRA was the slogan in Spain during some weeks, to not avail. Long and huge rallies to not avail. Spain went to war, even if Spanish people were against war. Our politicians are in another dimension, the dimension of the psychopath where they are just listening their voice, the voice of sadism.

I think it is good to participated in a manifestation, but nothing will change their decision to kill and to destroy.

The way I see it: I wouldn't go to a peace rally in order to convince the PTB, but the people of Syria. I think it is of vital importance that the people of Syria see that we are on their side. Show them that we do not want them to be murdered, we don't want their kids to suffer and die, we want them to have a future, we want them to be safe. So, that is what the message should be, OSIT.

I can't stop the killing of innocent people by one of the most sadistic nations in the world, but I can spread the message and show my support. Also, by not giving in to despair we let the Universe know that we mean business.

If my country was to be invaded very soon I would be happy if people would go out into the streets and protest on my behalf and on behalf of my fellow citizens. Also, it is important for the Syrians to know this, before the traumas hit them. When you are traumatized you may think that the whole world is against you, which is not true. And that is what we have to show them.
