A recent Gallup poll shows that an all time low of on only 20% of the public trusts the news as citizen journalism continues to rise.Bias and bungled reporting on US news networks are behind plummeting audience numbers, according to the Gallup Poll.
As far as the 20% who do still trust the news I would suppose they simply either don't have internet access or when they go online the don't dare stray to far from sites owned by the corporations that own the corporate media.
For anyone who happens to land here that still believes the news is trustworthy these will instantly make you non-believers as well:

RT reports on the Gallup Poll and the continual decline of the corporate media in the video below which also looks at a cutting-edge project that's encouraging ordinary Americans to drive our country's news agenda instead.
I don't have the time, training, or talent, to collect up, sift through, and report all the important stories that I should be keeping abreast of. And neither do most other "citizen journalists." The homemade UFO videos I have been seeing recently, for instance, are examples of some of the worst videography I have ever encountered. And the average video taker does not even try to tell his potential audience where he is, what direction he's looking, what day it is, what time it is, how big he thinks the UFO is, or what it looks like to the naked eye. So it ends up being hours of useless garbage. If professional journalism can't do better than that, then they deserve to succumb.
My teacher maintains that, in his experience, about 2% of people he runs across are psychopaths, and about 20% are under the influence of psychopaths. So there's your 20% who still believe. Hey, be happy! 80% of us have some small hope of redemption! But if we are going to go up against the MSM, we better get better at shooting videos than we are now!
