We spend all kinds of resources coddling idiots like this. Lock them up, feed them, parade them around in court, put them all over the news. In his own country they would have just lopped his head off, unless of course he's "royalty." Probably has diplomatic immunity.
He obviously was on his way to Houston to board a plane back to Saudi Arabia. Now he's looking at 10 years in federal prison for interfering with a flight crew, on top of multiple state felony charges. I hope the courts will make those sentences consecutive.
But he's a Saudi Arabian, so the US State Department might intervene and just slap him on the wrist and deport him.
$65,000 is quite a lot of money--how was he able to post bail? Perhaps government "assistance"?
