In the video she calmly explained how unfair some things are and I agreed with her view. She seems to be as you say a "Beautiful Lady". It is sad all the harm that has been caused, but new ideas will emerge and I am hopeful.

That was CNN 14 years ago and I was primarily concerned with the Palestinian genocide. Subsequently, I did quite a lot of research into the History of Syria and the bona fides of the Assad family and found most of the mainstream Western narrative to be malignant rubbish.
It is utterly disgusting to see CNN use that same footage some four or five years later to try and lay the blame for the US/Israeli sponsored Islamic fundamentalist atrocities at the door of the Assad administration. [Link]
It was the Syria thing that woke me up to the now instantly recognisable playbook that I now realise was employed in Yugoslavia, Libya, Ukraine etc and is now being deployed in Taiwan - i.e. fund, arm and nurture dissident groups, deploy compliant media to demonise the "dictator de jour", organise demonstrations, place snipers on rooftops with orders to shoot at both sides - hey presto!
Remember kids, if the Western coalition really wanted him dead, he'd be dead.
