US: A UFO over Aspen, Colorado?

A second Aspenite has reported seeing an unidentified flying object in the skies over Aspen in the early morning hours of Thursday.

Dr. Patricia Hill, a psychologist and host on GrassRoots TV, said Friday that she saw an object moving through the sky over her home in Meadowwood that morning after being awakened by what she described as "some big, bright lights, kind of casting about toward the tops of the trees."

"I thought at first it might be a car," she said. "I thought maybe there was a road [up the hill from her home] that I didn't know about."

Then the object, which had moved past her house, came back, "but higher," she recalled. "And I thought, 'Cars aren't up in the sky.'"

Full Description of event/sighting: The time is around 01:00 AM 27/09/08 Sydney.

While outside my place north western suburbs of Sydney while having a conversation before my 2 friends headed over to their cars, we all notice the way three stars (bit bright and larger than the other stars around) was perfectly in a straight line about ten minutes later a fourth very faintly appears too. The four of them moved a bit forward (presume it was because the other stars remained in same position).

Hi Brian,

On 9-26-8, around 5:00pm, I saw a strange disc like object in the western sky, Vernon, BC. It was at cloud level, and disappeared into up the clouds as quick as I got one not-so-great photo which I will attach with its zoom. I have also drawn a picture to show exactly what it looked like to the naked eye. Thanks again.

Weather Conditions: Misty and humid.

Description: We were standing outside our house when my daughter's boyfriend shouted that he saw a UFO. I looked up and saw an orange roundish thing flying around almost above our house. I tried to film it on my mobile phone and got a bit of footage but not much. Then an hour later my daughters boyfriend shouts again that there were more outside. I ran out again and saw 6 of these things. One was hovering over our neighbors house then darted quickly over the other side of the road. I got out my camcorder and started to record them in night mode because in my eagerness forgot to turn night mode off. I filmed them flying then slowly disappearing into the sky. We are still waiting and watching for more. Today is my 12th wedding anniversary and I definitely won't forget this one in a hurry.

Is this yet more evidence of alien activity in the Croydon area?

A quiet evening in turned to shock for Carrie Negri, 23, when she glanced out of her kitchen window in Chichester Road, East Croydon on Saturday.

She said: "It sounds crazy but I saw seven bright orange missile-shaped lights which seemed to be travelling slowly in formation across the sky.

"I was so surprised that by the time I thought to grab my camera only five were visible.

"They seemed to be coming up from the Purley direction and all looked exactly the same size, shape and colour.

"My partner Robert Gillham said to me 'this is our lot'.

"They genuinely looked like missiles travelling together across the sky.

Location of Sighting: Heart Cross Drive Silver City NM (Burro Mountains).
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1 - 2 ?
Shape of objects: Round?, oblong?, triangle?

Full Description of event/sighting: While walking west I noticed out of corner of eye something to the south moving west in the sky. It was big and bright around the outside, dark in the middle. As I tried to get out from under trees to get a better view, it seemed to move rather quickly away to the south, yet was still traveling towards the west slowly. At one point it sort of tilted and looked like a triangle with the lights going around the outside perimeter, red, yellow, either green or blue. The lights didn't flash, but sort of pulsated in a continuous, circular manner around the perimeter, much slower than airplane lights flash. It also very quickly went straight up, then straight down and then back to parallel to the ground lower than airplanes fly. When it went up and down and for the rest of the time I could see it, it looked like an oblong thing with the lights still going around the perimeter. It kept going further away until it was just a speck- always heading west away from me towards Arizona.

Full Description of event/sighting: Me and a couple of friends were sitting outside in a park in Kent Washington. I think the park is called like "Kent Memorial Park" or something. Anyways after sitting for a while I started looking up into the sky and off in the distance while my other 2 friends were talking. Let me say that I have never really been a firm believer of aliens and UFOs, but what I saw just puzzled me and it's the only conclusion that I can make of what I saw with my own two eyes (sober at the time). This red ball of light (I don't know the size, but it was far off and high into the sky) came into the open patch of sky I was looking at and just stood there in a dead stand still for a minute or so and then dropped down to the ground out of sight behind some trees. That is basically all that happened but at the time there wasn't even words that could describe what I was seeing.

Benette Sherman still isn't sure what she saw yesterday morning.

Sherman was up earlier than most, well before dawn. "It was actually 4:40 a.m. when I saw this thing," said Sherman, who lives in Concord, near downtown. "I looked out the east window and it was a bright light just shining in the sky. I thought at first it was a light on one of the steeples, but there are no steeples where I was looking."

The light was so unusual - Sherman noticed the light blinking before it took off in the sky - that Sherman wondered whether she'd seen a UFO. It was, Sherman said, "way too bright to be a star." And after watching the light for about 30 seconds, "it started blinking - not star twinkling, but blinking."

According to a newspaper article in MILENIO written by Marlene Santos, UFOs were reported in Leon, Guanajuato on Sunday, September 28, 2008.

While the article states that the sighting took place in the vicinity of the Leon Cathedral, it should be noted that on that same date, the traditional parade commemorating the 198th anniversary of the capture of the Alhondiga de Granaditas (a turning point in the Mexican War of Independence - Ed.) took place.

According to the article, the sighting involved three unidentified flying objects looking like white spots in the sky, with the peculiar detail that one of them seemed to change shape and could occasionally be seen as a horseshoe.
