A Tucson, Arizona, airport employee reports seeing "a bright, white, pulsating, shape-changing object" several miles behind a jet, on March 3, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The witness, who was joined by another employee, said the "object never changed its position and disappeared after a minute or so."
The witness estimates the object was at about 10,000 feet and over the town of Sahuarita.
The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Arizona MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.
Went out for a cigarette on my balcony at 0505. Just as I was about to finish and go back inside, I saw several pulsing orange/greenish lines. At the altitude observed, they were possibly 30,000 feet, due west over Hamilton. I can't be sure of exact vertical distance. I thought at first they were meteors or perhaps some sort of atmospheric affect. I've seen the aurora borealis first hand working in Algonquin, neither matched. I thought it might have been a freakish reflection off a satellite from the sun, which had not crested the horizon yet. It was not, there were over 5-7 lines observed. I frantically called every friend on my call list, but only managed to get one.
Several Northland residents reported seeing a flaming object in the sky about 7:15pm tonight.
Audrey Monicken, who lives on Duluth's Park Point, said she was watching television when she caught the sight.
"I saw a flaming thing come down out of the sky," she said.
She described the object as about the size of a mattress with red flames, and said that it came down at an angle out of the sky. From her vantage facing the harbor, Monicken said the object seemed to disappear in the middle of the bay.
Bright white lights and strange, triangular shaped objects, Tennesseans are reporting some unusual things overhead. Don't expect that to stop anytime soon, a local group that investigates UFO close encounters says sightings are on the rise.
For decades millions of people have reported seeing UFO's. A recent poll shows one in 12 Americans have seen a mysterious object in the sky, and that a third of adults believe it's likely aliens have visited earth. While some say the increase in volume of reports in Tennessee are enough to make any investigator sit up and take notice, others say it's all in their heads.
More sightings of unidentified flying objects, which look like orange balls, have been seen whizzing through the skies of Swansea.
A number of Evening Post readers said that they saw spooky sightings on Monday night last week in areas including Uplands, Clase, Clydach, Landore, Morriston and Skewen. The objects were spotted in the air from 7pm to 9.30pm.
Claire Page, of Llanllienwen Road, Morriston, said she had seen five orange objects flying across the sky around 9.20pm on Monday.
Location of Sighting: Cowdenbeath, Fife, Scotland
Date of Sighting: 27th February 2010
Time: 22.30 hrs
Witness Statement: Myself, my partner and his daughter were traveling home to Cowdenbeath from Crossgates from my friends house. Just as we were approaching Cowdenbeath we saw approx. 10-15 bright orange/red lights high in the sky. They seemed to be in some sort of formation (in lines) in a kind of pyramid shape. We stopped the car as it was such a strange sight we thought it might be helicopters so I rolled down the window to listen but there was no noise at all and as it was quite late at night and there was very little traffic you would think you hear that amount of helicopters. We also thought about chinese lanterns but this didn't make sense either as they were stationary in a formation for at least 5 mins. Also the majority of them disappeared all of a sudden apart from 2 which started to move pretty quickly towards Hill-of-Beath and 1 towards Mossmorran before they disappeared too. So unless chinese lanterns have some kind of radio-controlled motor attached to them I don't believe that's what we saw.
Location of Sighting: Shepperton, Middlesex
Date of Sighting: 27/02/2010
Time: 23:45
Witness Statement: I was woken up by my husband yelling "get up, get up, come and see this", with such a sense of urgency he frightened the life out of me. It was about 23:45 and he'd just seen a bright orange light with 3 white lights underneath, hovering over the house. He couldn't see the shape because the lights were too bright. When I came outside, I could see what looked like a bright white light high up in the sky, moving out of sight. We grabbed the camera and took a photo, which has come out as an orange speck in a dark sky. It was totally silent.
Location of Sighting: dovecot liverpool
Date of Sighting: 25th Dec 2009 and 28th Feb 2010
Time: 7.30pm and 10pm
Witness Statement: I am scared that other people have seen this. My first sighting was on Christmas night at 7.30pm when I was returning home to check on the house a pick up the kids pajamas . As I was packing the car I looked up right above my house which is [address deleted] Liverpool to see a big orange light hovering above, but it was silent . Straight away I knew it was not an aircraft because of its shape. It then started to move side to side up and down and then after a minute or two it flew at a great speed toward West Derby area faster than any airplanre or anything I had seen before.
