A big ring-like object with bright lights in Atlanta

I saw a big circular ring with lights floating in the sky. It moved smoothly in all directions and then just went away. This was in the Midtown Atlanta area between Atlantic station and Peachtree St NW.

I could see that it had lights all around it and it was very large and disc shaped

About 9 pm I looked out my window and saw a disc shaped white craft with light all around glowing in my neighbor's backyard. When I stepped out on my porch to get a good look at it, it started moving away really quickly. It was silent and didn't make any sound. I was about 50yrds away.

Two large blinking orange lights 20 feet high and 50 feet apart moving slowly away as we approached.

While driving home on a cloudy, dark evening on February 2, 2010 on a rural county road we saw two bright orange lights approximately 1 1/2 miles away on what we thought were power company vehicles. The lights blinked in unison and then separately approximately 2 seconds apart. They looked to be about 15 feet off the ground and about 50 feet apart. As we approached the dirt road were they had been hovering, we stopped because the lights were suddenly gone. The road is a dirt road which intersects our main county road and connects to the next parallel county road 5 miles away. We looked down the road for any sign of vehicles, head lights or anything that would have explained the lights.

Witness Statement: Around 21.45 I went into my back garden to do some star spotting, it was a crystal clear night and the viewing was spectacular. At around 21.55 I noticed 2 white/green diamond shaped objects moving in a South to North direction. They were at a high altitude, moving swiftly, slightly erratically and were completely silent. They disappeared from view within about 8 seconds. From where I was standing, they passed across the Perseus constellation.

Witness Statement: i thought i had my 'once in a lifetime' sighting/experience some sixteen months ago!

On Saturday evening (27 Feb) I saw a very bright orange light 'flying' very fast from east to west. estimated speed 600mph, and it was totally silent. On the night there was no wind and a constant covering of low cloud - this 'thing' WAS low and FAST.

Witness Statement: Whilst setting up my telescope in my back garden, notice a white circular shape passing overhead. Thought at first it was a plastic bag but then realised it was too circular and heading in a dead straight line. I then realised it was too high to be lit by streetlight. Its had to be ~ 3,000ft up and self-lit. Its apparent size remained about 1/3rd of a degree, quite a big size but not quite as big as the full moon. Its direction was ESE and probably passed right over Manchester airport, which is 3 miles south of me. Its colour was off-white with some vague contrast and it definitely had a 3D shape and looked like an upside down jellyfish.

Witness Statement: Saw a triangular shaped object flying low and at a slow speed, had 3 lights on it one red, green, white. There was 3 of us in the car and I quickly stopped and turned the engine off and there was a very very quite noise from the engine and was only just above our heads. flying in a north eastly direction.

US: Dublin, Texas lights second appearance suggest UFO activity

A Texas witness near Dublin watched four orange lights that formed a trapezoid under 1,000 feet, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The witness says this is not the first time these lights have been seen. During a fellowship meeting at the Cottonwood Baptist Church near Thanksgiving 2009, several people saw what appears to be the same set of lights in the sky.

Dublin is in Erath County, population 3,754.

From Wikipedia: Dublin is the site of the January 2008 UFO sightings as featured on various national media networks and has been on the History Channel's UFO Hunters Episode 110. Since January 2008 hundreds of UFO sightings have been reported over Comanche County, Texas, Eastland County, Texas, Erath County, Texas, Hamilton County, Texas, and Mills County, Texas. MUFON the Mutual UFO Network has visited the town numerous times and held events to take reports and questions from concerned citizens of the area. These sightings continued into 2009 and a new wave of reports has been received as of January 2010.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Texas MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

US: Dublin, TX, witness reports more than 30 'huge lights' in sky

A Texas witness at Dublin watched "30 or more huge lights with a yellow tint flashing, one after the other, in an oval to round shape" on March 4, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Witness (MUFON) database.

The witness said the objects were very low to the ground over her parent's home and "the shape appeared to tilt to one side slightly."

Moments later, the witness said she "saw and heard 10-15 jets flying much higher in the area" above the home.

Dublin is in Erath County, population 3,754.

UK: Mysterious Creature Stalks City

A mysterious creature described as a cross between a kangaroo, a leopard, a monkey and a cat is stalking Salisbury.

At least four sightings have been reported to police, who have alerted Wiltshire Wildlife and Salisbury Wildlife Rescue, in the last month.

Nicki Lomas, 23, first spotted the animal, said to also be racoon-like, on London Road at midnight on 6 May.

She said: "It looked more like a wild big cat, like a leopard. It was very big with a long yellow and black tail."
