"If there is a universal mind, must it be sane?" - Charles FortOn the fateful evening of December 15th, 1967, the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant, West Virginia collapsed from structural failures during full rush hour traffic. The incident killed 46 people, many of whom were holiday shoppers; most of these people died trapped in their cars under the weight of the iron bridge beams, submerged in the icy December waters. The tragedy made national headlines and put the little town of Point Pleasant on the map and in the minds of many that holiday season.

Comment: Last year, SOTT posted an article (Case of the US Garage Door Gremlins: San Antonio, Texas balky door openers tied to NSA) about the United States Department of Defense's new state-of-the-art communication system - Land Mobile Radio interfering or hijacking "civilian" frequencies for their unknown purposes and jamming people's garage doors in the process.
Pennsylvania's military bases were ones of the first to start using the system, causing more than 100 people to contact the local congressman, Republican Rep. Todd Platts, about the problem.
Now we hear about Pennsylvania Firefighters' EMS dispatchers having a strange static interference. And in our opinion, it wouldn't be too outrageous to assume that the source of the interference is of a similar origin.
And just in case enquiring minds want to know more, interestingly enough, Fire Departments of most of the affected counties have the same EMS frequency: Another possibility, and considering all the recent exploding news where Pennsylvania also had its share, we may be dealing with manifestations of a different kind of "interfering" phenomena.
Stay tuned for updates.
