Contributing editor Prof. Ana Luisa Cid has sent us a photo taken by Christopher Rodriguez, showing an elongated, luminous structure over Mexican skies in October 2009. Mr. Rodriguez, skeptical of the subject, was informed by his grandmother of the object's presence, which she detected as she hung clothes to dry on the roof. Rodríguez was able to record it for over 20 minutes with a Sony TRV 351 camera.

England: Triangular object with 'fireworks' going off in the middle of it spotted over Dunham Massey

Witness Statement: Posted on behalf of witness: At around 1:20 in the morning I noticed a bunch of bright lights outside so I went out for a look. To the South over the Dunham area was three very bright golden lights in a triangular formation with what looked like small fireworks going off in the middle of the other 3, all different colours. There also seemed to be a slight green hue around the edge of the formation suggesting that it was one solid object rather than 3 separate lights. I rushed back inside and got one of my kids and the missus up to show them...they were gobsmacked. There was no sound at all and the thing couldn't have more than a couple of thousand feet up, it hung around for about 10 minutes just sitting there with these bursts of multicoloured light continually going off in the middle before it vanished on the spot...very unsettling.

England: Orange object changing into 3 separate objects spotted over Whitstable

Witness Statement: I was walking along the shoreline between Swalecliffe and Whitstable and noticed near to the Seaview Holiday Park and Swalecliffe Sands, a very bright, fiery orange spherical object hovering silently over that area. I was approximately half a mile from that location, at Tankerton. The orange fireball object seemed to be hovering at an altitude of around 200 FT above the ground. It moved across Swalecliffe Sands and out into the Thames Estuary, moving towards the Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm. As it did so, it seemed to change its form and shape from a fiery, orange coloured sphere to three separate brightly illuminated shapes.

One at the front was bright white, oblong looking and then the other bright illuminated object was a fiery orange colour and appeared ovaloid in shape and finally the last object at the base was a reddish colour and pulsated along with the orange ovaloid object. There were many people walking their dogs through the area of Swalecliffe to Tankerton and then onto Whitstable. The strange, very ethereal looking UFO or transdimensional object then moved towards the direction of Whitstable, almost moving parallel to the shoreline, away from the Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm.

Wales: Witness sees a writhing orange light over Gwynedd-Anglesey

Witness Statement: I was walking the dog around a nearby field on the edge of Caernarfon. It was an icy night with light snow on the ground and crucially - a clear sky. I was watching a satellite make its way slowly through the night sky when a bright light caught my peripheral vision. It just seemed to switch on as I turned to look. It was across the Menai Straits above Anglesey (what seemed roughly to between Llanidan and Dwyran.) What I saw was an orange light, circular with undefined edges about the size of a match head at arms' length. (larger and brighter than any star or planet). It had a definite translucent quality - such a crisp, vibrant sort of orange. I compared the colour to the orange street lamps in the distance and it was a deeper orange. An almost red hot coal orange. Within this colour was some dark/black areas which seemed to be writhing around. Not unlike pictures we see of the sun.

Witness Statement: Hi, I'm also from Balloch. I was in my back garden five minutes ago when I happened to look up into the clear night sky.

I saw what looked to be a triangular shape object gliding across the sky in silence. The object looked to be about 150ft up, it wasn't a chinese lantern I'm pretty sure of that, it was moving too fast to be a bird and there were no sights of movement from the object (flapping). I understand its hard to say the height of an object, but I'm pretty sure it was only around 150ft above my house. The Loch Lomond seaplane turns above my house before landing on Loch Lomond and I've seen the plane lower. Very, very odd. At the risk of sounding completely mad, it seemed to be reflecting the orange colour from the streetlights below on its underside, which has me thinking it was metal.

My girlfriend and I were sitting on our couch in the living room of our home.

We were looking out the bay window overlooking lower harbor on Lake Superior. We both noticed this very large and bright, almost fog light-looking craft going at a 45 degree angle towards the power plant.

It was moving unbelievably fast towards the ground. We both thought it was going to crash. Then, as it got really close to the ground, it slowed down to almost nothing and leveled out. It seemed to slow down like it hit a pillow.

It slowed to almost a stop, and slowly cruised along the shore line. It was very low to the ground. It had a huge, bright spotlight on the front that was being shone all over the shoreline as it passed over.

It looked like a flying wedge of cheese. It was a flat looking black, almost gun-metal. It had a smooth look to it. I could see no seams or edges to it.

It was still light out, but the sun had just begun to set and I was driving home.

I saw a bright light in the sky above the trees in my neighborhood. I pulled over and started taking close up pictures thinking it was Mars.

When I zoomed out I saw three bright lights in formation and hovering. Then another white light rose from the horizon with two smaller lights.

All were orb shaped and bright. They stayed in the same place for several minutes and then slowly left one at a time following each other.

As they changed direction, I could see the front had two bright, white lights and the back two red lights.

In continuous shot mode I finally got a close up of the last craft as it was moving away. I then thought "Got ya".

Man Sees Strange Lights Over Missouri Town

A News 4 viewer doesn't know what he saw in the sky from the Wal-Mart in Cuba, Missouri.

Dennis Gravett of Cuba snapped a photo that shows three bright lights in a tight formation.

At first, Gravett thought the lights could be the landing lights of a plane, but noticed they were too far apart and appeared to come from 3 separate objects.

Gravett told News 4's Mark Schnyder he didn't hear anything in the sky and couldn't tell if the lights were moving at first. He and his son stared at them for about 15 minutes and the lights never moved. He says it was just around sunset Thursday and he couldn't see any stars in the sky yet.

Reports not uncommon, police say

The truth is out there.

And, at 7:34 p.m. Friday, it may have been over Aurora.

Nancy Freckleton was enjoying the crisp autumn air in the back yard of her Aurora home with a trio of friends, when something caught her eye. In the sky to the south, three orange, shimmering and ember-like globes of light appeared suddenly and began to drift westward across the night sky.

They all appeared to be at different altitudes from one another, Ms Freckleton said, adding it was impossible to make out any definite shapes.

"We just stood there looking at them and there was no sound whatsoever," she said. "They moved toward us and each one of them seemed to move independently of the others."

UFO Sighting: What Were Those Suspicious Lights in the Sky?

Suspicious lights in the sky were seen by several KGUN 9 viewers on Saturday night. What were they?

Was it the military? Was it a flare? Was it an alien spaceship? That's what KGUN 9 viewers are asking about some strange lights that appeared in the sky on Saturday night at around 10:39. Several viewers called the 9 On Your Side newsroom to report sightings.

Sheila Martin captured the sight on camera from an east Tucson gas station and posted the video on YouTube. Martin said that she saw at least four lights moving from south to northeast in a boomerang formation.

"I was shocked. This is happening right over our heads. I was amazed!" said Martin.

Others also recorded the event and posted their videos online. One Tucson man reported seeing as many as 16 lights in formation.
