Location of Sighting: Balloch, Dumbartonshire

Time: 8.30pm

Witness Statement: Hi, I'm also from Balloch. I was in my back garden five minutes ago when I happened to look up into the clear night sky.

I saw what looked to be a triangular shape object gliding across the sky in silence. The object looked to be about 150ft up, it wasn't a chinese lantern I'm pretty sure of that, it was moving too fast to be a bird and there were no sights of movement from the object (flapping). I understand its hard to say the height of an object, but I'm pretty sure it was only around 150ft above my house. The Loch Lomond seaplane turns above my house before landing on Loch Lomond and I've seen the plane lower. Very, very odd. At the risk of sounding completely mad, it seemed to be reflecting the orange colour from the streetlights below on its underside, which has me thinking it was metal.

I have seen many many chinese lanterns around this area. This was not one. It's an icy night outside and there is no breeze what so ever, this object was powering along.
