A UFO investigation has been launched after a chef filmed a mystery oval-shaped object hovering over a wood.

Adrian Musat, 40, of Pitlochry, Perthshire, saw the white light floating over Clunie Wood in Perthshire.

He recorded the mysterious light, before sending the tape off to supernatural investigators, the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA).

The father, who lives with his wife Nicoleta and two-year-old son Alex, said: "I have never seen anything like it.

"I watch out the window every day and we have a beautiful view, but I have never seen such a strange thing. It didn't make any noise."

Adrian first saw the unexplained sight from his home at 7.30am on the morning of Bonfire Night before it reappeared ten hours later.

He said the flashing UFO, which was flying above the woodland near Loch Fiskally, was about five metres wide and its colours were constantly changing.

Since then, Adrian has peered out of his window every day hoping for another sighting, but to no avail.

Investigation continues into source of strange Michigan area 'explosions' and radiation spikes

It appears that questions regarding the strange "explosions" which occurred all over the state of Michigan days ago are only continuing to grow.

With a puzzling lack of interest even from the local media, complete silence by law enforcement/military outlets, and activist investigators being arrested for attempting to obtain a statement at a U.S. military base, one would clearly be justified in wondering if there is not a cover up in the works.

For those unfamiliar with the story, throughout June 6-7 Michigan residents from all corners of the state began to report hearing loud "explosions" that actually rocked the ground hard enough to shake their houses.

Although some reports have focused on the "explosions" occurring in the Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan area, other reports have revealed that these "explosions" have also been heard and felt near Saginaw (Central Eastern Michigan) and on up to Northern Michigan.

"Explosions" are the only way to explain these types of sounds, because no one is claiming that ground movement was the result of an earthquake or anything else commonly seen. Indeed, after speaking with Bob Powell of The Truth Is Viral, it has been described as similar to the firing of artillery both in terms of sound and impact.

Numerous reports of mysterious booms and strange lights over South Carolina

Several months ago I wrote an article entitled "Investigation Continues Into Source of Strange Michigan Area 'Explosions' and Radiation Spikes," where I reported on the mysterious sounds and vibrations felt by countless individuals all over the state of Michigan. In this case, the corporate media, law enforcement, and the military typically tried to downplay the anomalies, even to the point of arresting activist journalists for appearing at the local military base with questions as to the nature of the disturbances.

In Michigan, residents all across the state and into Indiana, reported hearing loud explosions which actually rocked the ground hard enough to shake their houses. Bob Powell of The Truth Is Viral, who lives in the area, and is himself a military veteran, described the "explosions" as being similar to the firing of artillery both in sound and impact.

Recently, however, almost exactly the same kind of incident has occurred in South Carolina, spanning the entire Pee Dee region and all the way into North Carolina. On the evening of November 5, around 7:30-7:45 p.m., various law enforcement and local news agencies were contacted by individuals living in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina in reference to a loud "boom" that was large enough to shake their houses.

New mysterious "booms" reported in Manchester Township, New Jersey

Alongside the mysterious "booms" which were recently heard and felt all across the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, it appears that there were also reports of these same types of incidents occurring much farther north, this time in Manchester Township, New Jersey.

According to an NBC 10 report, broadcast on October 5, 2012, residents who experienced the event said that both the noise and the impact felt exactly like an explosion, with many stating that the impact actually shook the windows of their home.

NBC 10 conducted interviews with several of the Manchester Township citizens who all agreed that the sound and impact was akin to an explosion, with some interviewees stating that the "booms" were strong enough to frighten them awake.

'Black Jesus' draws mystery to visitors at historic cemetery

Houston, Texas - There is a statue that locals in Huntsville call "Black Jesus." Some folks believe there is something awfully strange about it.

"I know that there are spirits," said Kay Cooks, a Huntsville resident.

The statue is located in a dark grove of historic Oakwood Cemetery.

The proper name for it is "The Comforting Christ," said James Patton of the Walker County Historical Commission.

Some townsfolk say the eyes are sometimes open and sometimes closed.

The statue was commissioned by Judge Benjamin Powell and his wife, Marian Lee Rather in the early 20th century, Patton said. They commissioned it, based on a work in Denmark, for the grave of their son.

"The young boy, who was five years old, had his tonsils out in Austin, Texas and he died on the operating table," Patton said.

"They say that sometimes the statue actually cries," Cook said.

According to legend, the statue's palms, which normally face downward, sometimes turn up.

"Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous," said Patton.

Mile high mystery: UFO sightings in sky over Denver

Denver - It's a mile high mystery in the skies over Denver.

Strange objects caught on camera flying over the city and nobody can explain it.

We first learned about these sightings when a metro area man, who does not want to be identified brought us his home video. He captured the images on his digital camera from a hilltop in Federal Heights looking south toward downtown Denver.

He said, "The flying objects appear around noon or 1:00 p.m. at least a couple of times a week." The strangest part is they are flying too fast to see with the naked eye, but when we slowed down the video, several UFOs appear.

We altered the color contrast to make it easier to see. You can take a look for yourself by watching the video clip.

We wanted to verify the video we saw was legitimate and not doctored in anyway. So our photojournalist set up his camera in the same spot, and shot video from just before noon until just after 1:00 p.m. He also captured something unexplained on video.

Aviation expert Steve Cowell is a former commercial pilot, instructor and FAA accident prevention counselor.

When the landlady calls time, she is the visitor who refuses to leave.

A spooky spirit affectionately dubbed "Beryl" has been causing mischief at The Manchester Arms in Hull.

She flickers lights, turns off machines, plays with hair, causes floods and has even been captured on CCTV.

Lisa and Mark Fowler took over the Old Town pub ten weeks ago and have been experiencing some spooky goings-on ever since.

"Sometimes, it feels like someone is running fingers through your hair," said Lisa, 38.

"Other times, it feels like someone is behind you, but when you turn round, you catch a shadow in the corner of your eye but nothing is there.

"Then I couldn't believe it when I saw the CCTV footage."

On the evening of November 1, Lisa had been preparing to go to bed, in the family's home above the pub, when she went into the office to check the computers.

Mark was downstairs cleaning the bar when Lisa spotted something on the CCTV screen.

She said: "I phoned down to one of our barmaids, Gemma, and asked her if she'd let anyone else in.

"She said no but I could definitely make out a lady on the screen.

"I went running downstairs to see what was going on, but there was nothing there."

BBC banned astronomers from searching for alien life on a newly discovered planet

Brian Cox and his Stargazing Live crew were banned from searching for life on a newly discovered planet because BBC bosses feared aliens may breach editorial guidelines.

Prof Cox, who hosts the show with comedian Dara O'Briain, said he had hoped to point the Jodrell Bank telescope at the planet Threapleton Holmes B after it was discovered live on air last year and listen for signs of life.

But he claimed he was prevented from doing so because the Corporation was concerned that a discovery of aliens could violate BBC regulations.

Speaking on the BBC Radio 6 Music breakfast show on Wednesday, Prof Cox said: "The BBC actually said 'You can't do that. We need to go through the regulations and health and safety and everything in case we discover a signal from an alien civilisation'.

"[I said], you mean we would discover the first hint that there is other intelligent life in the universe beyond Earth, live on air, and you're worried about the health and safety of it?

"It was incredible. They did have guidelines. Compliance!"

Calum Sherwood, 23, was shocked to see the outline of what appeared to be a UFO while riding on a bus in Salterbeck, south of Workington, Cumbria, on Monday.

Sharon Larkin, UFO enthusiast and Mr Sherwood's friend who lives nearby, found ten dead birds in her garden that day.

Ms Larkin claims that 'dead birds are associated with sightings of UFOs', and experts are divided over the cause - with some believing it could be a rare cloud formation, while others believe it could be ice crystals from a jet engine.

Have you seen 'zooming' lights over Pangbourne?

Bridge
© Get Reading, UK
A Whitchurch author has seen "zooming" lights in the sky over the River Thames and she wants to know what they are.

The woman, whose pen name is Debra Louise Reynolds, prefers not to use her real name as "people will probably think I'm a nutter".

However she and her 18-year-old daughter have seen the lights about 10 times in the last year.

She first saw them about a year ago at around 5.30am when she was crossing Whitchurch-on-Thames toll bridge walking her dog.

The lights were high in the sky above the meadow to her left as she walked over the bridge towards Pangbourne.

She said they were red and white and pulsated.

"They then darted very fast over the horses' field and stopped there until eventually disappearing," she said. "It was a very awe-inspired moment."

She said her daughter had also seen the lights but had found them frightening.
