Show me the research: RFK Jr offers $100K to anyone who can prove the safety of thimerosal in vaccines

mercury research
February 15, 2017 is a day that should live in infamy! Why? Because that's the date independent vaccine safety advocate, Robert F Kennedy Jr., Esq., offered a $100,000 reward to any journalist who "can find a peer-reviewed scientific study demonstrating that thimerosal is safe in the amounts contained in vaccines currently being administered to American children and pregnant women."

How's that for raising the bar on vaccine science research? And, it had to be done by a consumer and parent rather than the vaccine industry, Big Pharma or the CDC/FDA who lack the intestinal fortitude to admit their science not only is wrong and misleading, but damaging innocent infants, toddlers, children and fetuses.

The World Mercury Project, of which Robert Kennedy is chairman, is sponsoring the $100K challenge.
Kennedy explained that the WMP will pay $100,000 to the first journalist, or other individual, who can find a peer-reviewed scientific study demonstrating that thimerosal is safe in the amounts contained in vaccines currently being administered to American children and pregnant women. Kennedy believes that even "a meager effort at homework" will expose that contention as unsupported by science. [1]

Devolution? Study claims kids with ADHD have smaller brains

Scientists appear to have conclusive proof that ADHD is a physical condition - and not just erratic behavior in children. Evidence has been revealed in scans that show structural differences in the brains of sufferers.

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) results, in essence, in sudden bursts of hyperactivity, coupled with inattention and a frequent inability to focus. Children particularly suffer, especially with school work and relationships with parents. But the symptoms may continue into adulthood. The causes of ADHD remain disputed.

A new study, the largest ever of its kind, may shed light. The lead author, Martine Hoogman of Radboud University Medical Centre in the Netherlands, says the data "confirm that people with ADHD have differences in their brain structure and therefore suggest that ADHD is a disorder of the brain."

Remember this mnemonic to diagnose a brown recluse spider bite

brown recluse spider
Brown Recluse spider
If you suspect a brown recluse bite, please have it checked immediately by a medical professional. The following mnemonic device was created for professionals encountering what might be a bite, but it can serve everyone to have this information.

We have good and bad news on that front. The bad news is that serious infections and other bites are often misdiagnosed as brown recluse bites. The reason - could it be for caution's sake or public health messages surrounding venomous bites? Regardless, there's a way to tell... Now for two more pieces of good news.

First, although venomous, about 90 percent of bites self-heal, and only about 10 percent result in a rotting flesh lesion - just less than 1 percent cause a systematic reaction that can be fatal. Second, two dermatologists and a retired entomologist in Missouri who specialize in treating brown recluse bites, have co-authored a just-published paper in JAMA Dermatology that finally put misunderstandings to rest. That is a long-needed clarification since giving unnecessary treatment for a false alarm can lead to tragedy - about 40 medical conditions, including several deadly bacterial infections, can be confused with brown recluse bites.

Married people found to have lower levels of stress hormone

happy couple
Fitting that on Valentine's day we're talking about the levels of stress in married couples. Many studies have suggested that married people are healthier than those who are single, divorced, widowed and even cohabiting. Now a new Carnegie Mellon University study provides the first biological evidence to explain how marriage impacts health.

Published in Psychoneuroendocrinology, the researchers found that married individuals had lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol than those who never married or were previously married. These findings support the belief that unmarried people face more psychological stress than married individuals. Prolonged stress is associated with increased levels of cortisol which can interfere with the body's ability to regulate inflammation, which in turn promotes the development and progression of many diseases.

When to comes to cardiovascular risk, marriages have been proven to offer considerable benefits according to a large population-based studies.

"It's is exciting to discover a physiological pathway that may explain how relationships influence health and disease," said Brian Chin, a Ph.D. student in the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences' Department of Psychology.

Comment: Surely, this research only applies to the happily married.

Note to bloggers: Contaminated cell lines render medical research useless

I'm talking about little defenders of consensus science, bloggers who love and adore every official pronouncement that comes down the pipeline from medical journals and illustrious doctors.

Dear Bloggers: Thousands of published studies you cite and praise are wrong, useless, irrelevant, deceptive—and the medical journals know it, and they're doing nothing useful about it.

The issue? Cell lines. These cells are crucial for lab research on the toxicity of medical drugs, and the production of proteins. Knowing exactly which cell lines are being studied is absolutely necessary.

And therein lies the gigantic problem.

Statnews.com has the bombshell story (July 21, 2016):

Comment: Add outright fraud and corruption to contaminated cell lines and you have a recipe for disaster.

Beyond Autism: Vaccines tied to multiple brain disorders

vaccine baby
It is no question that the subject of vaccines is profoundly controversial. On both sides of the argument exist truths and lies that can hinder the ability of some to make rational decisions.

For the last 50 years, the world has taken a front row seat to the phenomenological occurrences of the rise of brain disorders such as Autism, ADHD, and major depressive disorders. Anecdotally speaking, parents all over the globe have reported that one day their children were normal and growing healthily, and the next, after having gotten their vaccinations, they get Autism, or ADHD, for example.

While science and the government continue to maintain there's no causal relation between the vaccines and the disorders, parents, multiple studies, and other countries have reported otherwise. Now, it seems, some very brave and unabashed scientists have been able to show a correlation of what many have known for quite some time.

It has also been proven that CDC scientists destroyed data that showed a correlation between vaccines and autism in children.

Researchers at Pennsylvania State and Yale University sought to examine, "whether antecedent vaccinations are associated with increased incidence of obsessive - compulsive disorder (OCD), anorexia nervosa (AN), anxiety disorder, chronic tic disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, major depressive disorder, and bipolar disorder in a national sample of privately insured children."

RFK, Jr., De Niro hold press conference to expose links between mercury and vaccines

Robert De Niro and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. held a press conference today at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C., where they publicly discussed their efforts to thoroughly examine the links between mercury and vaccines.

The Hollywood legend and Kennedy announced their partnership with the World Mercury Project, which was founded in November 2016, with the goal being to "find a missing piece of research associated with mercury." The group announced a $100,000 reward for research into exposing the connection between mercury and developmental abnormalities in children — noting that the majority of the current body of research has been tainted by conflicts of interest relating to those conducting the studies.

Kennedy currently serves as Chairman of the nonprofit advocacy group, while De Niro has publicly supported the group's mission in the past. According to its website, the WMP works to "create a world free of the devastating effects of mercury."

The group has publicly spoken out about against vaccines with mercury, and argue those vaccines have caused an increase in neurological disorders among children. During the press conference, Kennedy noted that there is a vast censorship regime taking place in America, due to the massive amounts of money involved in Big Pharma, that disallows any public discussion about the issue of vaccines - with those attempting to do so being labeled "anti-vaccine" as a means of marginalizing them.

Gluten-free diets have taken off rapidly in the past few years.

But new research suggests those choosing to follow the trend are exposed to high levels of two toxic metals.

Those going gluten-free have double the amount of arsenic - a known cause of cancer - in their body, scientists found.

While traces of mercury - another deadly chemical - are almost 70 per cent greater, expert claim.

Psychologist: Stop catering to kids' emotional whims

Kids Meltdown

I recently observed how modern society has become fixated on emotions. This is evident in the demand for safe spaces on college campuses and riots erupting over police violence before facts have even been established.

As I went on to note, the fact that emotional outbreaks are viewed as a good thing is a fairly new phenomenon. For centuries, the opposite was true; giving into one's emotions was viewed as a sign of weakness, a lack of self-command.

Our modern embrace of the emotional can found in many places. As family psychologist John Rosemond recently explained, it's also seen in how we raise our children:

Gouging the elderly: Number of US seniors prescribed multiple psychiatric drugs doubles over decade

The number of retirement-age Americans being prescribed multiple psychiatric drugs without a recorded mental health diagnosis has increased, despite government warnings against over-prescribing such medications, a new study has found.

Between 2004 and 2013, the number of older Americans taking three or more psychiatric medicines ‒ known as"polypharmacy" ‒ doubled from 0.6 percent of doctor visits to 1.4 percent, even though half of those patients had not been diagnosed with a mental health disorder, the study published Monday in the medical journal JAMA Internal Medicine revealed.

Extrapolated to the US population over the age of 65, that would mean an increase from 1.5 million annual doctor visits a year involving seniors taking three or more psychiatric drugs to 3.68 million doctor visits.

Comment: While seniors in the US are being inappropriately prescribed psychotropic meds, the prices of their other drugs are sky-rocketing:
The prices of brand-name drugs used by many older Americans rose nearly 130 times faster than inflation last year, a new study reports.

"This new report once again highlights the high and unrelenting price increases that are shockingly common in the pharmaceutical market," said Debra Whitman. She is chief public policy officer at AARP, a nonprofit organization focused on social welfare issues.

"What's particularly remarkable is that these incredibly high price increases are still occurring in the face of the intense public and congressional criticism of prescription drug pricing practices," Whitman said in an AARP news release.
