UK teacher sacked for sane behavior: Refused to use eight year-old's "trans" pronouns, raising safeguarding concerns

A primary schoolteacher has lost her job and is facing a raft of investigations from various regulatory bodies for questioning the advice from Stonewall and Mermaids to encourage a 'gender transition' of an eight year-old pupil without any medical evidence.

The child, who cannot be identified for legal reasons and is known only as 'Child X', believed she was born in a wrong body and wanted to be treated as a boy.

Based on the advice from trans rights organisations such as Mermaids and Stonewall, the council instructed all school staff always to refer to the child by male pronouns and her chosen male name and that she should use boys' toilets, dressing rooms and dormitories as requested.

The teacher known as 'Hannah' (not her real name) invoked the school's and the council's whistleblowing procedure to argue that this approach was not based on medical evidence or compliance with the safeguarding procedures and was putting the child's health and welfare at risk.

New Twitter CEO says advertisers should have 'influence' over 'content moderation' on platform

Footage has surfaced of recently-appointed Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino speaking with Elon Musk, arguing that advertisers should have more "influence" over aspects of the platform such as product development and even content moderation. Her comments were met with pushback from Musk, who remained steadfast in his belief that freedom of speech took presedence over advertising dollars.

Musk officially named Yaccarino as the new CEO on Friday, a decision that has been met mixed reactions. In the hours since, her background has been scrutinized by both the right and the left, with the latter pointing out that she follows accounts such as the Babylon Bee and Catturd, and the former drawing attention to her ties with the World Economic Forum.


During the interview with Musk in April, Yaccarino suggested that advertisers should work to turn Twitter into a place where they will be "excited about investing more money."

Comment: Not a good look for Musk and Twitter. One can see where this is heading from her position and despite Musk's concerns it seems likely they'll get what they want, and people are not happy...

Tens of thousands of people have marched through Belgrade, blocking a key bridge in the second large protest since two mass shootings that rattled Serbia and left 17 people dead, including many children.

Protesters gathered in front of the parliament building on Friday before filing by the government's HQ and on to a highway bridge spanning the Sava River, where evening commuters had to turn their vehicles around to avoid getting stuck. At the head of the column was a black banner reading "Serbia against violence."

As the demonstrators passed the government buildings, many chanted slogans decrying Serbia's populist president, Aleksandar Vučić, whom they blame for creating an atmosphere of hopelessness and division in the country that they say indirectly led to the mass shootings.


Comment: Vucic and his officials also recently stated outright that the West is coercing them to sanction Russia, which has made them rather unpopular with the establishment and its propaganda media, such as the AFP, where this report comes from.


Comment: In addition to Serbia's rejection of sanctions, it's also notable that prior to Vucic's recent reelection, one of his officials warned that Serbia was being targeted for regime change, more recently Orban revealed that the US urged Hungary to 'invade' Serbia, meanwhile Vucic himself warned that the coming winter will be the hardest in the history of the world'. Whenever we have to address the issue of "progressive" ideology in America today, the debate inevitably finds its way around to the grand idealism of "acceptance" and "tolerance." The assertion by leftists is that they are on the side of "freedom" and human rights, and that by confronting or separating ourselves from certain behaviors we are revealing out bigotry and discrimination. In other words, leftists assert that all personal beliefs and behaviors must be embraced by the populace in order for society to become pure.

Except, this is not what they really believe. Leftists argue for tolerance of aberrant behaviors while admonishing normal human tribal and biological reactions. They have a vision for the world, and certain beliefs are not accepted within that Utopian fantasy.

The basis of the leftist religion is not a deity, it is self perception. They worship themselves and think the collective is valuable so long as it reaffirms their identity. Anything that might restrict their pursuit of self aggrandizement is considered oppressive. This is why they often argue in favor of moral relativism. They have a delusion in their mind of what they are; they see themselves as a fantastic gift to the world. But, if people are allowed to judge them on their moral failings then they will always be reminded that they are not all that impressive. So, they seek to control the views and speech of others.

Tens of thousands more Brits were dying than expected and experts aren't quite sure why that is.

From May to December last year, there were 32,441 excess deaths in England and Wales, excluding deaths from Covid.

Excess deaths are defined as the number of people who died above the five-year average - worked out excluding 2020 due to how Covid spiked death figures that year.

This means that over 32,000 Brits would've been expected to be alive, but died according to Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures across this period.

These shocking figures raised a number of important questions about what is happening to the country's populations, how it's changing, and why so many more people are dying.

In recent days, large crowds of immigrants have formed on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande fully prepared to swim over well-worn crossing spots to Brownsville - but seemingly held back by unarmed Mexican immigration officials.

Over the course of several recent days in this northeastern Mexican city when perhaps 3,000 immigrants a day swam over to Brownsville with no opposition on either side, a curious pattern became evident. At some sort of signal from the Mexican immigration officers, a group of about 100-150 from the crowd would suddenly stand in unison and rush down the riverbank, past the immigration officers, and swim over to America.

It turns out that this pattern was far from happenstance. The Center for Immigration Studies asked several of the Mexican immigration officers what was going on and learned that President Joe Biden's Department of Homeland Security has been coordinating these mass swims with Mexico's immigration service, INM, at high levels on an encrypted Whatsapp channel.

Younger generations of Americans no longer remember who fought against whom in World War II, and even middle-aged citizens are ignorant of the recent past, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has claimed.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin's press secretary said the lack of understanding of history among Americans was not merely "forgetfulness" but a "pernicious line" and warned of the consequences of such ignorance.

"Not knowing the horrors of the past, not knowing who saved the world from the brown plague (fascism), means that soon in America there will be a generation that will be unable to soberly assess its present and its future," Peskov said.

DHS producing videos teaching citizens how to identify "radicalized" conservatives

America First Legal (AFL) has obtained documents through FOIA request from the Department of Homeland Security which outline a "Choose Your Own Adventure" style video series that DHS intended to release to the public. The videos were meant to depict different scenarios in which citizens might encounter potentially "radicalized" individuals. Citizens are then asked to choose what they think should be done about the encounter.

Most of the scripted scenarios showcase people with conservative beliefs and values as the radicalized threat. For example, the DHS targeted "suburban Moms" with pro-life beliefs:

Missouri becomes latest state to BAN child sex changes, biological men competing in women's sports

The state of Missouri passed two bills on Wednesday which ban child sex changes and biological men competing in women's sports, making it the 16th state to enact laws that safeguard women and children.

One bill passed by the Missouri Republican-controlled House bans trans-identified minors from having access to puberty blockers, hormones, and sex change surgery. The bill also blocks prisoners and inmates from receiving surgical sex changes, and also prevents Medicaid from covering the cost of these gender-affirming surgeries in the entire state, ABC reports.

Another bill that was passed prevents biological male student-athletes from competing in girls' and women's sports, a law that will be enforced in both public and private schools from kindergarten to university. If schools allow trans-identified athletes to compete against the opposite sex, the school will lose federal funding.

A Ukrainian media group partnered with BBC, Der Spiegel and other Western outlets polled readers on which Russian intellectual should be assassinated following a car bomb attack on writer Zakhar Prilepin. The Biden administration has greenlit Kiev's campaign of terror.

Hours after Russian writer and activist Zakhar Prilepin was nearly killed in a targeted car bomb, a popular Ukrainian news agency submitted a poll that asked its readers, "Who do you think should be next in the Russian pantheon of scum propagandists?"

It's open season on Russian intellectuals supportive of the government's war effort, according to Ukrainian news agency UNIAN. Following a car bomb intended to kill Russian novelist Zakhar Prilepin in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, the outlet polled its audience on Telegram, providing a list of names of prominent Russians that could be assassinated.

Excluding the two reported assassination attempts on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prilepin is the third high-profile Russian to be targeted for assassination by Ukrainian agents. His maiming follows the car bombing that killed Dariya Dugina, which was intended for her father, the Russian nationalist philosopher Alexander Dugin, and the bombing of a public event featuring Vladlen Tatarsky, who ran a popular Telegram channel. The Telegram post by UNIAN explicitly references Dugin, Tatarsky, and Prilepin.
