Fleeing terrorists: Western Europeans migrate to anti-ISIS sanctuary of Hungary

Hungary
© pgaborphotos / Shutterstock.com
It is no secret that Hungary has become one of the safest countries in the world. While Western Europe opened its borders and accelerated its Islamisation during the migrant crisis, Eastern Europe did the opposite.

Western Europe's governments actively try to cover-up migrant crimes but there's no denying reality: in a lot of countries it's a big problem and countries like Germany, Belgium and Sweden are even losing control over it.

What a lot of people wouldn't have dreamed of predicting for decades is now happening: An increasing number of people are not moving from Eastern Europe to Western Europe, but in the opposite direction.

SOTT Focus: The Trials of Masculinity, Feminism and the Modern Male

gender differences
Today, feminists want all the rights, and none of the responsibilities, none of the more problematic side of life and reality. The last 40 or so years of feminist nonsense has not worked to uplift and empower women, or teach them about their rights, responsibilities and prerogatives in human society vis a vis the human mating and reproductive cycle. Instead the feminist movement has invested its time in promoting women as both super-heroines who can do anything, and passive victims that can do nothing.
Wish upon a Weinstein

Harvey Weinstein has the golden touch when it comes to movies. Not every one he has been involved in has been a success, but the overwhelming majority of them were watchable, and some truly great. Scream, The English Patient, Emma, The Crow, Beautiful Girls, Princess Mononoke, Good Will Hunting, Jackie Brown, Rounders, Phantoms (Ben Affleck was the bomb), Mansfield Park, She's All That, the Kevin Smith films, Lord of the Rings, Equilibrium, Chicago, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds: the list goes on and on.

Harvey Weinstein is also ugly. He was not lucky enough to be born in the top 20% of men, the "666s" as they are called: 6 feet tall, 6-pack abs, 6-figure salary. Those are the men that women will dare to approach; for the rest of us mere mortals, it's a slog to fulfill that part of your evolutionary purpose that involves finding a woman who is willing to have your children. For the Harvey Weinsteins of the world, it's a matter of cultivating your comedy, or your bank account, or your creative successes. For every inch on your waist, add another 0 to your salary to compensate.

Slave auctions in Libya - Disturbing video shows real life slave trade, humans being bought & sold in the open

Slave trade in Libya
Slave trade in Libya
Footage from hidden cameras shows young refugees being auctioned off for as little as $400, after they were kidnapped from Libya and Niger.

Refugees are being kidnapped from Libya and Niger, and sold in auctions for as little as $400, according to an investigative report that documented the abuse in war-torn Libya through hidden cameras that showed young men being lined up to be inspected for buyers, with auctioneers referring to them as "merchandise" and "big strong boys for farm work."

It is highly likely that there are even more barbaric auctions held for females, and there have been widespread reports of this happening, but so far no footage has been collected of these crimes.

Bill Maher says don't lump Franken in with Moore, Trump, Weinstein, Spacey

Bill Maher during the Friday airing of his HBO show, "Real Time With Bill Maher," had much to say about controversy swirling around Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and allegations of sexual assault levied against him by broadcaster Leeann Tweeden.

What did he say?

Maher in a monologue acknowledged Tweeden's accusations, and admitted that because Franken did a "bad thing," he was deserving of the criticism and condemnation he's received as a result of the accusations.

"Al's a friend, but Al, I got to tell you," Maher said. "If you write a comedy sketch where you, Al Franken, kiss a model and her next line of dialogue isn't 'Get off of me, creepy!' it's not comedy, it's science fiction."

Despite his jokes about Franken's comedy sketch, Maher, however, apparently didn't think it was fair for his friend to be "lumped in" with others facing allegations of sexual misconduct, including GOP senate nominee Roy Moore, film mogul Harvey Weinstein, President Donald Trump, and actor Kevin Spacey.

"What [Franken] doesn't deserve is to be lumped in with Roy Moore," Maher explained. "Or Kevin Spacey! Or Harvey Weinstein! Or Donald Trump!"

He added, "Trump called his accusers liars, threatened to sue them, did long riffs at his rallies where he'd say they were too ugly for him to assault. Plus, with Al Franken we're talking about one incident. Trump has 16 accusers. Roy Moore has nine."

Comment: Except that the accusations against Moore and Trump (even many of the accusations against Weinstein) are not so cut and dried. They're just that so far: accusations. At least with Franken there's photographic evidence of the incident involved. But that's not even the point. The whole issue is another sign of just how much American society is caught up in a collective hysteria. Then that hysteria gets polarized along political lines. Conspiracy theories about the Moon landing come up yet again

man on the moon
A UFO conspiracist has uncovered what he believes is proof that the moon landings were fake, although his detective work has drawn criticism.

"Does Astronaut's visor reflection show a stagehand on the Apollo fake Moon set?" is the question posed by Streetcap1, who shared his recent discovery on YouTube.

The photo in question is taken from the Apollo 17 mission, which took place in late 1972. Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt spent about 22 hours exploring the surface and were the last humans to walk on the moon.

A growing epidemic of people needing joint replacement because of their obesity could "bankrupt the NHS," it has been claimed. According to newly released figures, surgeons are carrying out hip replacements on children as young as 10.

The number of people needing joint replacements increased by almost 60 percent to more than 37,000 in the past three years, according to figures from the National Health Service (NHS).

Ten children and teenagers aged between 10 and 19 have had hip replacements since 2014 because of the damage caused by their excessive weight. A further two in this age group had knee replacements.

Up to 86 people in their 20s had hip replacements, while 11 needed new knees.

Another powerful man in media, NY Times WH correspondent Glenn Thrush, facing sexual harassment claims from multiple women

Sexual harassment claims against yet another powerful man in media inspired New York Times White House correspondent Glenn Thrush to post an impassioned note on his Facebook page in October, calling on his fellow journalists to stand by women entering the field.

In the post, which linked to an article about the latest accusations against political journalist Mark Halperin, Thrush wrote, "Young people who come into a newsroom deserve to be taught our trade, given our support and enlisted in our calling - not betrayed by little men who believe they are bigger than the mission."

It was a noble statement - but some Washington journalists I spoke to say it rings hollow, given Thrush's own behavior with young women in the industry.

"He kept saying he's an advocate for women and women journalists," a 23-year-old woman told me, recounting an incident with Thrush from this past June. "That's how he presented himself to me. He tried to make himself seem like an ally and a mentor."

She paused. "Kind of ironic now."

Comment: It's also worth noting that Wikileaks exposed Thrush as one of the reporters who ran his stories past the Clinton camp in the run-up to the 2016 election.

Ryan Seacrest denies sexual abuse allegations after former wardrobe stylist demands a "substantial amount of money to keep quiet"

Ryan Seacrest
As more and more allegations of sexual harassment and other misconduct emerge in Hollywood, Ryan Seacrest today took the preemptive move of denying acting badly before an accusation went public.

"Recently, someone that worked as a wardrobe stylist for me nearly a decade ago at E! News, came forward with a complaint suggesting I behaved inappropriately toward her," said the past and future American Idol host Friday. "If I made her feel anything but respected, I am truly sorry."

E! is investigating the allegations internally, the outlet says.

The anonymous accuser wanted a "substantial amount of money to keep quiet," a source close to the situation tells Deadline. Wary of the implications of guilt baked into acquiescing to such a financial demand, Seacrest refused and decided to go public, we hear.

Comment: With the amount of hysteria unleashed in the wake of the Weinstein exposés, it's rather unsurprising that sociopaths would make use of the situation for their own ends.

British singer Morrissey defends Spacey and Weinstein, blames victims for what happened, gets eviscerated on Twitter

The British singer Morrissey defended both Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein in an interview this weekend, claiming their alleged victims knew "exactly" what was going on - and chose to "play along."

"Afterward, they feel embarrassed, or they do not like it," Morrissey said while speaking to the German news outlet Der Spiegel. "And then they turn it around and say: I was attacked, I was surprised, I was dragged into the room."

Spacey and Weinstein have each been accused of sexual harassment by more than a dozen men and women. The Hollywood heavyweights are scrambling to find supporters as more and more people come to the defense of their alleged victims.

Morrissey, however, is apparently in both men's corner - calling the claims against Spacey "ridiculous" and blasting the countless women who've come forward and publicly named Weinstein as their abuser.

"People know exactly what's going on," Morrissey reportedly said after being asked about the movie producer. "And they play along...But if everything went well, and if it had given them a great career, they would not talk about it."

In an exclusive video interview recently recorded at the presidential suite of the historic Watergate Hotel, the victims of Bill Clinton's alleged sexual assaults - Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and Paula Jones - blasted the mainstream news media while praising Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report, as well as Breitbart News for fairly reporting on their stories.

The women recalled how Drudge on January 17, 1998 broke the story alleging Newsweek was sitting on a bombshell news item that White House intern Monica Lewinsky was having an affair with President Clinton.

Stated Broaddrick: "Drudge was my hero. Absolutely my hero during all of that time. I could go to Drudge and know what was going on or you could go to the mainstream media, which Drudge now is. I mean they blasted him. This man stood up for us. Matt Drudge is our hero." Willey and Jones expressed agreement.
