Here's the sequence by which the MSM went stark, raving mad

hillary on tv
I've been working as a reporter since 1982. Since then I've watched big-media news lie in every possible way they could. But I've never seen them race to the edge of a cliff and jump off—until now.

Here is the rough sequence, acted out in the past year.

During the presidential campaign, big media massively sided with Hillary Clinton and attacked Donald Trump. They predicted a Hillary victory all the way up to Election Night. Meanwhile, Trump was campaigning against the media. Mercilessly. Naturally, this raised the ire of entrenched news operations, who basically believe they own the news.

As further exacerbation, a schizoid split occurred during the campaign. WikiLeaks and Project Veritas were releasing vital independent material (to say the least) exposing the Clinton camp and the DNC. Major news outlets were trying their best to downplay and ignore all this material, while the public was eating it up by the ton.

Then came the results on Election Night.

O the horror.

Comment: In this unpredictable political climate a coup most certainly cannot be ruled out.

US intel vets dispute Russia hacking claims, points to a leak

NSA seal
As the hysteria about Russia's alleged interference in the U.S. election grows, a key mystery is why U.S. intelligence would rely on "circumstantial evidence" when it has the capability for hard evidence, say U.S. intelligence veterans.

MEMORANDUM

Allegations of Hacking Election Are Baseless

A New York Times report on Monday alluding to "overwhelming circumstantial evidence" leading the CIA to believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin "deployed computer hackers with the goal of tipping the election to Donald J. Trump" is, sadly, evidence-free. This is no surprise, because harder evidence of a technical nature points to an inside leak, not hacking - by Russians or anyone else.

Lavrov slams EU's demand Serbia close Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center

Brussels insists that Serbia should shut down the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center if it wants to join the EU, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, adding that the EU is trying to drive a wedge between Belgrade and Moscow.

The EU "regards the Russian-Serbian humanitarian center in [the city of] Nis as a spies' nest and a threat to the European security," Lavrov told Sputnik news agency during his visit to Serbia on Tuesday, adding that Russia is "aware of the fact that Brussels demands that Serbia close the center if it wants to join the EU."

He went on to slam the EU for insisting that Serbia "should behave in the same way as the leader of Montenegro, who betrayed all [their] commitments and promises, betrayed Russia, although Russia did not do anything to [them]," referring to Montenegro's signing of the NATO Accession Protocol in May 2016.

Question

Scott Adams: So why is Russia our enemy, again?

putin trump
© Desconocido
One way to look at the recent election in the United States is that Russia (allegedly) subverted our democratic process to ensure that Trump would win. The facts seem to point in that general direction, although we can't know how much influence Russia really had.

Another way to look at the election is that Russia did a big favor for the American public by preventing Clinton from becoming president. That interpretation depends entirely on your opinion of Clinton. But it too fits the facts. One assumes Russia's motives were to help Russia, not the United States. But we might have benefitted anyway.

Clinton saw Russia as an adversary. I confess my ignorance on this topic - and maybe you can set me straight in the comments - because I can't think of any reason Russia and the United States should be considered natural enemies. Both countries want to defeat ISIS. Both countries want peace and prosperity. Neither claims ownership of any of the other's territory. I see the prospect of good relations with Russia as a way to make some money for both countries and defeat ISIS too. That doesn't seem so bad.

Govt must 'use' Farage as a conduit to build relations with Trump, new UKIP leader Nuttall tells RT (VIDEO)

 Paul Nuttall
Downing Street must use Nigel Farage as a "conduit" to Donald Trump, as he is the only British politician with real links to the president-elect's administration, new UKIP leader Paul Nuttall says.

Speaking exclusively to RT, Nuttall said UK Prime Minister Theresa May and her government had "called the US election wrong," resulting in Farage being the only way for Britain to build relations with Trump.

"They were positive that Hillary Clinton would be elected and therefore they have opened the door for Nigel Farage to be the only British politician to have real links into the president elect's administration."

"I call on Theresa May and the government to use Nigel Farage as a conduit to ensure that the special relationship between Great Britain and the United States not only continues but prospers into the 21st century," he added.

Farage is the first and only British politician to meet the president-elect after his shocking victory. May is yet to meet Trump, but has spoken to him on the phone.

The former UKIP leader has repeatedly offered his services as an intermediary between May and Trump, but Downing Street has declined.

Black Magic

Odysseus asked some shades recently if they trust the CIA

Patrice Lumumba
© Associated PressOne of the last photos of Lumumba, as he sits in an army truck guarded by Mobutu's soldiers in December 1960
Every patriotic American is either insisting that the CIA must be believed, and that therefore, there must be a redo of the 2016 Presidential Election -- or they are insisting, with Donald Trump, that the CIA is the same outfit that sold us Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Being a student of Edgar Rice Burroughs as well as of the classics, I have, via the miracle of telepathy, prevailed upon Odysseus to interview some of the more recent shades for me. (Of course you recall book 11 of the Odyssey!) Remember, the dead have nothing earthly to gain, and no reason to lie...

Odysseus: Come forward and drink the blood of the slaughtered black sheep. It will give you the power of speech.
Shade: [sips] Thank you.
Odysseus: Now tell us your name.
Shade: I was Mohammad Mossadegh.
Odysseus: How did you die?
Mossadegh: I wanted Iran to enjoy the wealth from our country's oil, our oil that British Petroleum was just stealing from us.
Odysseus: Is that a cause of death?
Mossadegh: I always enjoyed your ready wit, Odysseus. But the answer, in my case is yes. Churchill got Eisenhower on board, and Ike's CIA took me down.
Odysseus: What do you think of the CIA?
Mossadegh: Get in their way and they'll kill you.

Karma's a b***h: Michigan launches audit after HUGE voting irregularities uncovered in Clinton strongholds

hillary clinton
America demands a recount, in order to protect itself from Kremlin subversion!

This was the rallying cry of literally hundreds of unemployed Democrats on Facebook.

Ask and you shall receive:
Voting irregularities in Detroit have spurred plans for an audit by Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson's office, Elections Director Chris Thomas said Monday.

State officials are planning to examine about 20 Detroit precincts where ballot boxes opened during the recount had fewer ballots than poll workers had recorded on Election Day.
Finally, our prayers to Moloch have been answered! Michigan will annul Trump's victory, and award its 16 Electoral Votes to Donna Brazile. Oh, except that Detroit "voted" overwhelmingly for Clinton:

16 out of 17 Intel Agencies Agree! Top U.S. intelligence agency abstains on CIA assessment of Russia hacking 2016 election

James Clapper

The office overseeing all 17 agencies of the US intelligence community apparently doubts the CIA's assessment that Russia intervened to help Donald Trump win the presidential election, as Reuters reports anonymous officials saying the allegation won't be endorsed.

Three unnamed officials from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) told Reuters on Monday that their agency does not dispute the CIA's findings, yet it would not accept them either.

"ODNI is not arguing that the agency (CIA) is wrong, only that they can't prove intent," one of the officials told the news agency. "Of course they can't, absent agents in on the decision-making in Moscow."

The CIA has not made its findings public, but the Washington Post reported on a secret assessment by the agency. It concluded that Russian intelligence hacked the servers of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton's chief of staff John Podesta to help Trump win the presidency.

The ODNI was formed to ease the bureaucratic obstacles between US intelligence agencies after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Comment: As Russia Insider puts it, oh so seriously:
16 Intelligence Agencies Refuse to Endorse CIA's Russia Hacking Claim

On the flip side, all major television networks are on board

It's a well-established fact that Hillary Clinton falsely claims that 17 intelligence agencies unanimously agree that Putin hacked her e-mail account.

But what about this new dumb claim, that alleged "Russian cyber attacks were aimed at helping Republican President-elect Donald Trump win the 2016 election"? This allegation has also been dismissed by every important American intelligence agency, minus the CIA, because they are cancer.
...
Sounds like a slam dunk case. When do we bomb Moscow?

Delusional liberal hack Navalny announces plan to run for president of Russia in 2018

Russian anti-corruption activist-turned-politician Aleksey Navalny has promised his supporters that he will take part in the Russian presidential elections in 2018.

"I am fully aware that it will be very difficult to oppose the current Russian authorities with their election-rigging and their propaganda machine. I know very well that it will not be easy for me even to become a candidate," Navalny said in a statement released on Tuesday.

Comment: Translation: "I know no one likes me and I don't stand a chance, so I'm going to blame election rigging and propaganda, just like Hillary!"

He added that he could no longer see elections "where candidates work as extras at a film shooting" and promised to provide a specific election program, without giving the precise date for such a move.

"I want the year 2018 to become a clash of programs and ideas, the choice of not just a person, but the course of national development. I have a program that is better than what Putin and the Kremlin are offering," Navalny wrote.

McCain, Graham Join Democrats, Demand Probe into Claims of Russian Hacking the Presidential Election

McCain
A bipartisan group of senators are calling for a probe into whether Russia influenced the presidential election after claims that the country illegally tried to swing the result in favor of Donald Trump.

The group, which includes former Republican presidential nominee John McCain, claims that "recent reports of Russian interference in our election should alarm every American," and has called for a full investigation into the conclusions of various intelligence personnel.

Other members of the group include McCain's fellow Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, and Sen. Jack Reed, the highest sitting Democrat on the Armed Services Committee.

"While protecting classified material, we have an obligation to inform the public about recent cyberattacks that have cut to the heart of our free society," the group wrote in a joint statement.
