A crew of burglars broke into a money storage facility in Los Angeles on Easter Sunday and got away with as much as $30 million in cash in what may be one of the largest heists the city has ever seen.
The heist is believed to have taken place at a GardaWorld facility in Sylmar, a suburban neighborhood located in the San Fernando Valley, FOX11 Los Angeles reported.
The burglars are believed to have broken into the facility either through the side of the building or the roof before cracking the vault without setting off any alarms.
© FOX11 Los Angeles KTTVWhile police did not name the business, local reports say it is believed to be a GardaWorld facility.
GardaWorld has branches worldwide and over 132,000 employees. It specializes in cash services, which include ATM services and armored truck transport. According to its website, some of its clients are Fortune 500 companies and even U.S. and international government agencies.
The Los Angeles Times said the heist was among the largest cash burglaries in Los Angeles history, including any armored car heist in the city.
The Los Angeles Police Department is working with the FBI to investigate the theft. No further details were immediately available.
The theft comes nearly two years after as much as $100 million in jewels and other valuables were stolen from a Brink's big rig at a Southern California truck stop. The thieves have not been caught.

Being a TI the people that are targeting me have control of all my elect appliances whither it's AC or DC, they can burn out my elect. switches, drain batteries on my vehicles, my flashlights, turn on my wifi key boards, tack pads etc. They destroyed my RV refrigerator burning out the cooling tower that was gas an elect. a $2500. unrepairable. They can also control the temperature of the refer. to freeze every thing or to shut the temp. down to expire the food.
Thats why I have said in the past they can target anyone even commercial buildings to burn them down to the ground with WiFi 5G. That was what they did to my bank to get into my safety deposit box as it was ease to pick the front door locks and to by pass the alarm systems as long as there is an elect signal they can see it on a vu screen to disable it. They use a camera that looks like a small lead light floating in the air that floats on a frequency WiFi wave to look at you or others or inside or out side any where..
They have amazing teck. now days that came from Darpa, when someone sits in a chair miles away can do the crimes against the people or companies as lone as they have 5G WiFi. Most people will not believe they can do this and the only reason I know is because they are doing it to me. I hear that I am on a FBI list, maybe I made it to there A list.
There is something to be said for moving as far off the 'grid' as you can. I don't know what part of the world you call home but if it is at all possible to reduce your exposure to 'society' then you may wish to think about it.
