Nevada Rangers rammed through a climate protest blockade near the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on Sunday.

Sunday marked day one of Burning Man 2023, a yearly music and art festival in Northern Nevada. Climate protestors blocked the road leading to the Burning Man festival causing a major traffic jam. The green Nazis were demanding Burning Man ban private jets and single-use plastics, according to a reporter on scene.

Nevada Rangers weren't having it.

The Rangers rammed through the blockade, pointed a gun at the activists, and slammed to the ground.

"Get down now! Get on the ground! Don't move!" the Ranger shouted as he pointed a gun at the climate militants.

The climate change activists were arrested.

A Nevada Ranger told a reporter at the scene they received a 911 call saying that someone in the crowd was going to shoot the activists blocking the street.

The activists squealed as the Rangers cuffed them.

Fool on the Hill There's raw video of about 30 minutes that shows drivers trying to move their shit "nicely" and them just moving it back. One of the climate idiots was built like a brick shithouse and no one wanted to dance with him.

Were it me in that line of cars a mile back, I would have got out of my car and hiked to the front, encouraging other drivers to get out and come with until a mob formed. Then we would have moved their shit, and chained them to one another and left them on the side of the road for the Rangers to deal with.

What they succeeded in doing was turn everyone in that traffic jam against their message and methods. If you watch the long version, you see several people telling the protesters to fuck off because they too are climate death-cult members who recognize these protests are ineffective for raising awareness because they trigger rage in those who are essentially detained against their will by it.

Gregore the Magnificent They have this festival in Uvita, Costa Rica called “Envision”. It’s organized and run by very wealthy people. Most of the attendees are rich druggies that go from festival to festival. A massive influx of people many don’t want, as they keep excluding the locals year by year. Most of us here call it “Invasion”. I won’t even go into town to buy supplies or eat when the “Invasion” is taking place. I head to another city a bit farther away. It’s like Burning Man for the extremely wealthy. They fly to Costa Rica, make their way to the pacific south, and party all day and night in the jungle on the beach, it usually lasts 3-4 days. The organizers make mad cash as each day can cost hundreds of dollars to attend. I wish they would keep that shit to the cities where it belongs.

So you are asserting that the protestors in the filmed incident really didn't care about what they were protesting, they were hired, you know a couple of them.....The popo were hired to bust it up, and all the Burning Man attendees were passive about the whole thing because they knew what the real scoop was and they aren't "real" burning man attendees, because real real attendees would've taken care of business themselves?

Also that the locals are tired of the Burning Man shenanigans, know the garbage disposal is a joke, and are tired of it, but all this was staged preemptively by Burning Man to quell any form of criticism towards them?

All so the Burning Man could get away with dumping their garbage indiscriminately while maintaining the carefully crafted image of being more or less environmentally responsible?

it is, or was. My farm is about 90 miles from the site of burning man. It's of the beaten path but in a very scenic area. About 20 thousand burners come through our little community on their way to the burn because this is a friendly area where the locals can always be counted on to help a stranger. It's not always forthcoming as quickly as some of the 20 thousand would like due to the fact that this is a ranching and farming community with less than 1000 souls living here year round. With an infrastructure suited for those 1000 not 20,000. Since about 2014 I've worked retail during the event about 6 out of 9 burns (2020 was cancelled)The owner kept the business open 24 hours a day for three days and the same for exodus, what they call the return trip home. All the locals are exhausted afterwards, and it takes weeks to recover.

As for the trash they can't physically handle the volume. Reno is the closest city with refuge companies, and they're already at full volume. The

In my humble opinion, you're a little off if you plop down u.s. $1600 to breathe dry lakebed sand, experience blazing day time sun and frigid low 40,s f. at nite all with 30-40 mph winds. It's gotta be because the DSR&R are so good.

Tonight (Thursday) friday, friday night into Saturday, the weather forecast calls for rain. It doesn't take long for a dry lakebed, the playa (where the event is held) to become a wet lakebed. Last time this happened some burners had to leave their vehicles and gear and walk out. Hopefully that won't happen this year. Don't feel much like dealing with the not so woke crowd heading into winter.

Hard work but we could actually buy the things we wanted. It’s not about Americans that don’t want to do the work, they just want to live better than living in a favela in Brazil.
