Neil basically says everything SOTT-types are saying on the daily. Funny how when he begins to talk about "facts" and that facts should matter, he immediately says we need to believe the facts of virologists. Not sure which 'side' of the virologists he meant.
Fantastic analysis. Probably a Judas goat, like many are. I would have liked to hear more detail. Such as who is behind the push for this new normal and why. With that being said, any publicity on the subject is good to a degree, I suppose, and I'm not familiar with this guy. I have just become skeptical, I guess.

For those outside the UK, some context: Neil Oliver is an archeologist by training and historian by passion, who became famous in the UK as one of the presenters of a long running BBC series called Coast (his twitter handle is @thecoastguy.) Coast was a fantastic never-ending journey around the British coast covering all aspects of geography, history, life and local people. Being an island entity, Coast was a wonderful patchwork portrait of the nations within its boundaries.
British viewers have this in their mind when he talks about national issues, patriotsim, what it means to be British etc. He has literally has travelled around the country meeting people and learning what makes it the particular mish mash of regions, communities and perspectives. He's done a lot of other TV work and written books in the popular history bracket. He's well liked and trusted.
2020 launched him into another role altogether, and from regular media interviews discussing historical precedents for the extraordinary times, and his own show on the new GB News, he developed these intense video clips tracking all the alarming developments as they came along. He's been a powerful and eloquent voice, one of the only high profile figures to speak out about the descent into dystopia most people have sleepwalked into. He's put into words what millions have been thinking and observing, but have been cowed into silence, feeling isolated even among their own circles. People are really waking up now though, and he's been an important voice in that process. He's turned into a kind of national wise elder.
